Pride Month is upon us once again! As monsters gear up to skelebrate their LGBTQIA+ fiends, I have two defrightfully adorable pieces of gossip about two of Monster High’s favorite couples… First, we all know and love the fiercest and most fashionable Clawdeen Wolf and Toralei Stripe, A.K.A. Toradeen. But how did they go from hisses to kisses? It’s simple math, really. Clawculus + a common enemy + forced proximity = the perfect love story. Nothing screams romance quite like math camp. Then, Spelldon Cauldronello and Kieran Valentine are feariously couple goals. But my Criers tell me that dating as an emotional vampire can make things a bit awkward. Valentine’s powers are totally out of control, and he worries he might have accidentally hypnotized Spelldon to fall in love with him. That’s the only logical explanation for why he feels all warm and fuzzy inside…right? —XOXO CryptCrier
Just as cute as the 2024 one, but here we got more background on Clawdeen and Toralei's relationship, and we got to see some character development from Valentine (whose story with Spelldon was also adorable). Please keep these coming!!!
“Beyond a Shadow of a Doubt”: 5 stars The Valentine & Spelldon story was very cute. Neither of these characters got all that much time and attention to be complex and interesting in the canon until these comics so I appreciate the effort now. Same with Wisp. There’s so many cool characters in Monster High, and this story is a rare moment where we get to focus on some we wouldn’t normally see. These characters really come to life on the page. Valentine’s panic that he’s unintentionally using Spelldon in the way that he used to intentionally use people in the past feels very real, and is a compelling choice for a character who was previously a villain. We all love a good redemption arc. “Math Camp”: 3 stars Clawdeen & Toralei still have their issues to me, but I think the bigger issue is actually the math camp setting, which just didn’t work for me much at all. A lot of time was spent on the set up and I never got the sense that Clawdeen was growing to like Toralei back. At least it’s nice to see Toralei in a bit more of a personal light.
literally so so cute !!!!! clawdeen and toralei’s enemies to lovers story is so cute and i really love their dynamic as they help and support each other with their feelings and vulnerabilities :,] valentine and spell’s relationship is just as adorable !!!!!! i really loved how this comic humanises toralei and valentine (i.e young toralei being abandoned and valentine’s anxiety that he has stolen spell’s heart) and gives them a redemption arc as in previous monster high media they have been depicted as villains/antagonists. as a monster high fan since childhood i also loved the thought out attention to detail such as other characters being drawn in the background and the use of lesser known characters such as wisp from 13 wished (a personal fave of mine) the art was absolutely GORGEOUS too i was in awe 💀🎀
Okay but this was the Toreli/Clawdeen story I wish we got last year. I won’t lie it kinda felt a bit ooc, but I still likes it nonetheless. I will say the puns were overdone in their story… I was laughing a bit too much and I love the Monster High puns.
Spelldon/Valentines story is so cute. Also Whisp is one of my favs (I love and cherish her doll) and her being included is a plus for me. (Now if MH makes Whisp queer that will be my favourite thing ever)

Loved loved loved Toralei and Clawdeen story 🥹🩷 I LOVE SAPPHIC ! I enjoyed Val and Spell story, but found it quite simple compared to the first one. But the graphics were beautiful 😋✨ Happy pride 🏳️🌈🎉
Dumb smile on my face the entire time I'm reading this. I loooooove these pride comics so much. I need a longer format, can't get enough. So cute!!!!! 🏳️🌈
The only thing that could've made me love Monster High more was to make it queer. I found this in my comic shop and now I'm a feral beast wanting to hunt down every Monster High comic made.
