Echoes of Eternity – Book One A continuation of the Fated in the Stars universe
Phoenix “Nix” Rena is a miracle. He survived the unimaginable. He found love where there once was pain. And somehow, after everything, he became something long believed extinct—an omega. A mate. A force to be reckoned with.
Now, Nix has everything he never thought he’d freedom, purpose, and a pack that is as much his as he is theirs.
The Rhodes Pack is whole. Their bonds are sealed. Their future is finally within reach. But healing doesn’t erase the past. And peace? That was only the beginning.
When a threat tied to one of their own resurfaces, the pack is forced out of their comfort zone and into motion—chased by danger, driven by fate, and guided only by the strength of their bonds. As they navigate shifting ground and rising stakes, each of them must confront truths long who they are, what they believe, and who they’re becoming.
Because whole doesn’t mean perfect. And fate is far from done with them.
Love was never in question. But everything else? That’s about to be tested.

Stop and do not go any further if you haven’t read Remy’s Fated in the Stars trilogy, because you can’t even start Darkness Echoes without reading that series. What happens in this duology is entirely informed by that trilogy and you will be lost from page one (and spoiled for the trilogy, to boot).
So, now for those who have read and finished the Fated in the Stars trilogy.
Darkness Echoes picks up about three or so months after the events of Tides of Fate. Life has settled down for the Rhodes Pack…for the most part. One pack member has been kind of absent and a bit secretive, two other pack members have been kind of competitive and a little combative, another pack member has been sad, and another pack member is…disgruntled with everyone.
After the events at the end of Tides of Fate, it was evident that Gideon’s dad, Patrick Carnell, was up to a whole lot of no good–but what kind of no good? What exactly is he after, or who?
I’ll tell you one thing: Remy had to listen to me whine about how icky Carnell is several times while I was editing this book. I don’t even know how many times I complained about his sheer ickiness. He’s a creep. Blech. He’s as slippery and slimy as the oil he probably uses to suntan with. SO GROSS.
The Rhodes Pack leaves Nashville for Florida when it becomes clear that whatever dark deeds Carnell is getting up to is being done in or near Jay and Nix’s hometown of Clearwater. This decision sets off a rapid-fire series of events that keeps this whole pack running and dodging one danger after another, all while trying to keep each other safe and their bonds shining bright with love and care. There are a lot of new discoveries and explosive events before this half of the duology winds down to a rather natural break in the story (thank you, Remy).
If the Fated in the Stars trilogy was about connection, love, and family, then Echoes of Eternity is about what happens after, when your love is tested in the harshest of ways. 5⭐️
I was provided a copy of this title by the author. All thoughts, opinions, views, and ideas expressed herein are mine and mine alone. Thank you.
Darkness Echoes is the first book in the Echoes of Eternity series. This is a continuation of the Fated in the Stars series which should be read first, the books in that series are Threads of Fate, Bonds of Fate, and Tides of Fate. We are back with the Rhodes Pack for more story. This book starts about three months after Tides of Fate. I loved this book so much. There is so much change and chaos for the pack. They are being hunted but they are still so in love with each other. I wanted to hug everyone of the guys. Remy Bishop knows how to pull at your heart strings. So much happens in this book that I know I will have to read it again to see what I missed. I can't wait for the next book in the series. I would definitely recommend this book.
3.5 stars. I was very excited for this sequel to the Fated in the Stars trilogy! I was overjoyed when I found out with the finale that ut wouldn't be the last we'd see these guys, and I missed them a lot.
The plot in this one is about how the pack takes the news surrounding Nix after the events that happened. Things seem to be going well.. until a new danger is after them, especially Nix. There are different reactions from the members about his new condition, similarly to how they start dealing with what they find along the way now that there's someone after them. There are secrets and revelations, most importantly from one of the members of the pack, leading them to finding more behind each of their own nature.
So I was looking forward a lot to this new series as a reader that loves mpreg. I was delighted by the idea of the book focusing more on that. I also really liked the interactions between the pack here because despite being a established dynamic, problems still arise and it was intriguing to see them navigating through new challenges.
I also appreciate that the story is expanding. I found certain details from this universe interesting such as the abilities some the weres have. Although, this leads to the main thing I wasn't fully into but in this case it's a "me" issue: I am not that into magic. I gravitate more towards omegaverse that don't go too deep into the paranormal or fantasy aspects of it all, not because it's badly done at all but it's just something that doesn't catch my attention that much. So part of me wanted the story to go into a different direction. I also thought some scenes could've been cut off, especially those repeated from another perspective.
Despite that, I thought the rest was thrilling and it is a nice start of a new adventure with the series, so I am interested to see how the rest goes.

So, listen. This is an MMM plus omegaverse series with MPreg, and it is exactly the kind of book you think it is. You know what you’re signing up for. That said, this series does a few things differently, and those differences keep it interesting. The worldbuilding is genuinely cool. The way magic and biology work here makes sense in that slightly bonkers omegaverse way, and I’m into it.
What’s good: we get more of the pack. Previous books focused on others, but this one finally gives us time with Grayson and Rowan, and I liked seeing them fleshed out. The pack dynamics keep evolving, and the world feels richer with each book.
There’s also a noticeable tone shift. The first three books leaned hard into trauma, flashbacks, and mental health crises, which could be intense. This one still has emotion and growth but focuses more on relationships than trauma. It’s not exactly lighter, but it feels less heavy and less likely to trigger big reactions.
The Rhodes Pack are firmly in the “bang it out” school of conflict resolution, and I don’t think I’m exaggerating when I say they never actually finish a discussion. Every serious talk somehow turns into someone having sex with somebody else. It’s on-brand for poly omegaverse, but it gets a little frustrating because so many dynamics could be explored more deeply if they’d just talk.
On the flip side though, the spicy things that we all love in omegaverse (heats and ruts) are glossed over. One alpha goes into rut and there isn’t a single spice scene around that, which is a let down.
The premise also wobbles a bit. They travel for a specific reason, then make zero progress toward it. Some of that’s the external Big Bad drama, but it still doesn’t make sense that they’d stay in danger instead of going home to regroup.
Still, it’s entertaining as hell. I’m absolutely reading the rest of the series.
All the characters were woven in together throughout the book. The love the pack has for each other is written beautifully. They were all very protective of their pregnant Omega and would do anything for each other.
So much happened throughout the book, and each pack member had a part to play. Gideon and Jay had so much heartbreak and felt so much guilt that I just wanted to hug and cry with them. Gideon's self-doubt and how he thought it wasn’t good enough for the pack was so sad. The way his pack pushed back and told him how important he was to them, and him becoming so emotional about it, stabbed me in the heart. He doesn’t want to believe he is so loved and cherished by his pack and his soulmate, Luca. Jay’s tragedy just made me break down and cry. He was willing to try and make amends with his mom, and then having ripped away is so sad. I love Jay, he is my favourite. I hate him being so sad and heartbroken. His heart-to-heart with Nix while he is playing the piano shows how much they love each other and that Nix is and always will be meant for each other.
I can’t wait to see where the story of all the magic and the past lives together really starts. Each pack member has an important role that I can't wait to read about. Jay, Nix, Finn Gideon, Rowan, Grayson, Leo and Luca are made for each other, and nothing is going to rip them apart, and Grayson's art proves it.
They have been fated together longer and more than they could ever imagine.
The Threads of Fate were only the beginning - now they are 8 times stronger, 8 times more determined to solve the mysteries, that surround them and 8 times harder to be broken... Because they are finally eight and complete, the way Fate had wanted them to be from the beginning of time - one perfect, infrangible core with eight individual layers, that fit so well together, that the heart and the mind can't see where one starts and the other ends. Darkness echoes is such a brilliant, striking continuation with all the sweetness of one blooming love, all the complex nuances of eight people who have blended their lives together through bonding and trust, all the challenges such a large polycule represents and all the determination to make this fragile, new, but incredibly deep status quo not just thrive, but flourish. The author has gone beyond the humanly possible in proving that the already amazing first trilogy can be followed by something even more soul touching and heart pounding. The omegaverse from the first three books with elements of healing, comfort and finding their 8th, has shifted here into darker, mystery undertones opening the door to a millennia old secrets, magic and past lives. I love the way the plot deepens and unfolds, while the lives of our characters irrevocably change in the process. The spice is definitely sizzling hot because our Nix has turned out to be insatiable and his Omega nature affects his mates. Fair warning if you aren't a fan of mpreg, these moments are stinking sweet and unavoidable.
Darkness Echoes is the first book in the Echoes of Eternity series. This is a continuation of the Fated in the Stars series which should be read first We are back with the Rhodes Pack for more : as someone who has a diffucility leaving a world behin I was very happy to learn that there was a continuation and jumped on the occasion to join the arc team The love the pack has for each other is written beautifully. They were all very protective of each other and would do anything for each other. So much happened throughout the book, new danger threatens the Rhodes pack. Their lives are at risk, their love for each other gets tested. Once again Remy Bishop gives us a story that practically rips your heart out. A roller coaster of a read. I loved the pack dynamic and how the overall relationships don't run over the individual. Its not all bedroom play and no plot. Yes, it's a spicy and a harem story. But it's so much more. Each character has a POV and I love how the chapters feature the story from that POV. I am so invested in this series. I cannot wait for the next instalment, but I hope it never ends.
Rewrite and organize these thought for a goodread review. the text has to be unique don't use the same sentences
I fell in love with the Rhodes pack in Threads of Fate. Their acceptance for Jay's lost mate was so, so moving. And when Nix was found, there were so many emotions as they came to grips with his imminent death. And then his survival. That part of the book required tissues. The next two books in the Fated in the Stars trilogy were just as angsty. Just as wonderful. Which brings us to a new duology, Echoes of Eternity. A new danger threatens the Rhodes pack. Their lives are at risk, their love for each other gets tested. Once again Remy Bishop gives us a story that practically rips your heart out. A roller coaster of a read. Edge of the seat and nail biting. I loved the pack dynamic and how the overall relationships don't run over the individual. Its not all bedroom play and no plot. Yes, it's spicy and a harem/why choose story. But it's so much more. Each character has a POV and I love how the chapters feature the story from that POV. I absolutely cannot wait for the second story in this duology. And then I'll just have to read the stories again from the beginning. I received an advanced copy of this book and this is my review.
Welcome back to the Rhodes pack. Their pack now has all eight members and should be settling into their new life.
Unfortunately there are still threats to their pack. There is so much happening in this story.
Insecurities and secrets will cause strife but when they are all together they are strongest. There ar big changes happening in this story and we get some unexpected backstory mixed with some magic.
Learning all these new things about the pack and settling into their new normal isn't as easy as they expect. But when they end up back in the town where Nix and Jamie grew up the emotions from the past and what was missed will have an impact.
I'm invested and while this took some highly unexpected twists I am super excited to see how this plays out. These men are all so sweet yet broken in their own ways and they deserve to be happy.
Carrying on from the Fated in the Stars trilogy, which you need to read first, this resumes three months after the last of the trilogy. All eight of them are happy and in love, and sealing their bonds with each other as only truly polyamorous mates can, but the pack is unsettled and no one can quite put their finger on why. None of them really speak about it but they all feel it in one way or another. There's lots of drama and unexpected events in this book, and the tension is ramped up throughout. Returning to Nix and Jamie's hometown sets a series of events in motion, some good, some bad, some life-changing, and it was difficult to put the book down as they hurtled toward the last page. I can't wait to read Eternal Light to see how it all plays out.
This book was everything. The perfect continuation for the Rhodes Pack and an emotional rollercoaster from start to finish. It picks up right where Tides of Fate left off and pulls you straight back into their world with so much heart, chaos, and love.
I loved how much this one focused on how love is tested when life gets harder. You see the pack pushed to their limits but still finding strength in each other. The connection, the devotion, the trust they share, it’s everything that makes this series so special.
Remy Bishop does such a beautiful job balancing the darkness with tenderness. There’s tension, danger, and heartbreak, but there’s also so much warmth. The pack’s bond shines brighter than ever here, and I found myself completely wrapped up in their story again.
Darkness Echoes was powerful, emotional, and full of heart. I didn’t want it to end.
Nix, Jay, Grayson, Luca, Gideon, Rowan, Finn, and Leo now face a new challenge that can threaten all they have, and that keeps putting their lives in danger. The plot thickness and the intricately constructed spider web reveal incredible knowledge that was well hidden along time. The danger and adrenaline are high, and the emotional impact is a roller-coaster with highs and downs as the events unfold. Their chemistry and dynamics are entwined with insecurities as secrets are kept and trust is challenged. It had teasing and shenanigans that lightened the hard times, but also forgiveness and reassurance when the most vulnerable aspects were revealed. It was an intense experience, and I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next.
I love the Rhodes Pack. These guys are everything. I love what one of them said about this stuff just being a blip on their road to Happily Ever After. The trouble with Carnell doesn’t define them. Luca, Gideon, Finn, Leo, Rowan, Grayson, sweet Nixie, and Jamie have been through so much, but they just keep getting stronger. Their strength is in each other and their bonds. This is such an amazing set of books and anyone who is seeking a book about a polyamorous set will find this series well worth a read. I can’t wait to see them find their happiness and this problem with Carnell to end. I admit, I want to see their family complete.
The Rhodes Pack has a new challenge ahead, an old foe threatens to tear the apart. Thankfully The Goddess is on their side.
The pack learns so much about themselves and each other in this chapter of their story. So much is revealed and they are going to need every weapon in their arsenal to defeat the enemy at their gates.
This chapter brought some tragedy as well, and some closure.
I am so invested in this series. I cannot wait for the next instalment, but I hope it never ends. I want to keep The Rhodes Pack in my life as long as possible!!
I was provided an ARC by the author and this is my honest review.
So first off Echoes of Eternity – Book One Is a continuation of the Fated in the Stars universe. So read that triology before this.
I am so happy it didn't end with that triology! In this book we learn more about our favorite pack. I dont want to give spoilers i will say things start out a bit like a mystery your not sure what or why things are happening. There is some action in this book it's not all mystery and the spice lvl 4 of 5.
I couldn't put it down and I really can't wait for the next book. I highly recommend this book
My one BIG issue so far with the first trilogy and then this first book in this duology is…. are they hidden from the humans or not? First book in the trilogy and this book has several instances of comments and statements to that effect, but then so MANY, MANY, MANY instances of showing themselves, not to mention the Human-Were Alliance. So, 🤬?
Otherwise, I’m enjoying these books and looking forward to where the author plans on taking me.
I’m so invested in the Rhodes pack and their journey through life. This new series do not disappoint! I just love them all and their individual strengths and their internal battles. The way they support and love each other in different ways are so beautifully written.
This is a continuation of Fated In The Star Trilogy. We're back with Nix and the Rhoades pack. The pack is learning, growing and in the midst of that an old foe rears it's head. Amazing world building, intriguing characters and lots of fast-paced action, danger and drama.
What a cliffhanger. There's a lot of ground covered in this book and now I'm counting down the days to the next one. Nix and Luca still have their moments that keep you laughing through all the tension building.
So, I am writing this about the whole series (all 5 books):
This is one of the very few series poly series I have read where I can tell you about every single mate in the group. Reading these had very Sense8 vibes like that, sometime the over arching story dragged a little but that's because we get multiple POVs since all 8 fated mates are not always together.
Full disclosure, Nix is in a coma through almost the entirety of the first book, but it works bc you get to know the Rhodes Pack before their omega come to.
My only real complaint is Nix is still pregnant at the end of the series (but a collection of short is coming out in November that will cover all that.)
Honestly, I can, and will, read a lot more of the Rhodes pack. I loved these guys in the end.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
A sequel series to the "Fated in the Stars" trilogy, so not a standalone and must be read after that series. This is pretty much book 4, but in anime terms, this is part 1 of a new arc in the Rhodes Pack's journey and storyline.
There is a few months time jump from the last book, and we pick back up with the Rhodes Pack. Lots of angst in everything--within the pack and with outside forces coming after them. Lots of action and hurt/comfort, but we still get to see the love between the guys grow and evolve. I'm vibrating with excitement for what's next, but also anxious.
I don’t know how she makes each book better, but she’s managed it! I just love this cast of character and how they interact, plus new things are happening that they need to overcome together. It’s just chock full of character development and hurt/comfort.
This series just keeps getting better and better! I’m obsessed!! The threats are still coming, the pack is still learning about themselves - individually and as a whole - but they are more than willing to fight for each other and their freedom. I can’t wait for the next book!!
