Finally reunited with my mates, we must prepare to take on our biggest threat my psychopathic sister. The only way to do so is to gather an army.
The nightmares refuse to see my mates as their rightful rulers, so we make the decision to participate in the Trials of Lilith. If we have her blessing, then the nightmares will have no choice but to follow us and fight against Aaliyah.
But there’s a reason why the trials haven’t been utilized in centuries. They are dangerous, deadly games that revolve around each of the sins. In order to earn Lilith’s approval, we’ll have to complete them all. The consequence of failure is death.
The time has come to end this once and for all.
Will my mates and I be able to get out of this war unscathed? Or will we need to make the ultimate sacrifice in order to ensure the survival of everything we hold dear?
What am I willing to give up to save the world?
Wrath is the final book in The Damning series, a why choose fantasy romance. Within these pages, you can find spice, action, romance, and a reluctant assassin who may just be the queen needed to save them all. Please read the beginning of the book for a detailed trigger warning.
Ok, I generally love this author's work, but this series just fell flat for me. I enjoyed the first book, it was clever, new and refreshing. But as the series just kept going on and on and on, it lost me. Too long, too weird, too many characters, too much trauma. I never could get over the issue of Dair's legs. An unknown trigger? Z was never really likeable. The sister's motivations were totally oblique. She wanted love? The kings are imprisoned then executed just like that? The whole plot was complicated, convoluted and yet pointless in the end. Then it just ends, hea, having babies.
This was a good series. I really like these books. I wish you would have recorded. I had an audiobook for raf book. 7, it just doesn't make sense to me to do audiobooks. For all 6 books and then on the last book not to do an audiobook. Um, but yeah, this one was really good. I really enjoyed this series. It did slow down a little bit during book 5 or was it for but it still was entertaining. I love the introduction of the little. It's trials so that they could become kings, that was particularly awesome and using their sins as a way to see if they were good mates for her, I did like that. I didn't like that at the end. She was able to fix everything but Killian. I wish you wouldn't have gotten rid of his tail and his horn so that he could have been normal. But other than that, it was a good book.Five stars, once again, katie may awesome
I love the conclusion of this series. I wish we could have more insight on Lilith. It was wrapped up really nice but it feels like we could have had more interaction, like a visit or something even with the reason why she couldn’t stay. I’m excited to read another series and see what other worlds the author has created. A most enjoyable and epic ride with enough plot to make it feel more real and not all spice. It is a delicate balance and it was pulled off beautifully! Thank you for this read!
Wrath was a great wrap up to the series with all loose ends tied up.
With the final battle with Aaliyah and her demonic forces encroaching the team hustled to create an army big enough to handle what was coming. Throw in the trials of Lilith to prove they were fit to be the new rulers (and suitable mates for Z) and we have a recipe for chaos.
This series was absolutely amazing and definitely a must read. I had fun watching all the characters grow into themselves. This finale was perfect, questions that I didn't even know I wanted answered, were. It was a long journey, but I will be sad to say goodbye to all of these characters.
Maybe I’ll come back to this in the future, but it just didn’t hold enough of my attention to pull me back to finish reading this. I feel like the series as a whole was a bit of a letdown even if the characters were very interesting and well thought out. She really lost me here in the last book.
I read this series non stop for a week . I'm exhausted but omg it was so worth it. It's absolutely brilliant amazing and fantastic, there isn't enough praise words to praise it with lol . Katie you exceeded yourself this time .
Loved the whole series, plot kept me interested and main characters were easy to root for. I especially liked Axle, who cracked me up, and loved Julian and Fair as Z*s love interests, though all her harem was great. sexy times were hot x5
Well I finished the series! It wrapped up most things but after 7 books the end came quite quickly. Sweet HEA but the whole series was too long. Still feel there were issues not discussed, the whole Dair storyline was bizarre, Rylands confession strange. Not the best but satisfying enough.
