A fun and sexy romp through a time-hopping, X-Files style “zombie” adventure. The art by Jinky Coronado is terrific and the “behind-the-scenes” interludes between the chapters are informative and entertaining. A quick, compelling comic with eye-popping graphics. What’s not to like?
After reading the first volume I was expecting a lot more action from the second volume. It does not have the over the top story of a Danger Girl type comic, instead it works on a more subtle level mixing religion and faith with friendship. The last chapter is a parody of the Scooby Doo cartoon that is amusing and fun to read and look at. The leggy cheese cake art work by Jinky Coronado is beautiful. After each chapter is a couple pages of behind the scenes information and comments that nicely pays homage to the late artist Al Rio.
