Finally find out what happened during those missing four months, as the thrilling adventure continues!
He’s under my skin…
After Katmere, I shouldn’t be surprised by anything. Including the existence of a world beyond my world called the Shadow Realm. Yet here I am, stuck in a strange, dangerous place with the worst of the supernaturals, the monster that other monsters fear: Hudson Vega. He might be Jaxon’s brother and ridiculously hot, but he’s a complete bona fide pain in my ass.
The question is whether we’ll find a way out before I kill him…or run out of time.
She’s stealing my heart…
It’s a truth universally known―at least according to Grace―that everything is my fault. But I have a nasty suspicion that Grace isn’t as human as she thinks, and she’s the one keeping us trapped. Now we’ll have to work together not only to survive, but to save all those we’ve come to call family who live here.
Because there’s something connecting us. Something stronger than fear…and way more bloody dangerous.
Adapted from the novel and produced with a full cast of actors, immersive sound effects and cinematic music!

Okay, after the first half of this book, I am not sure, I should continue with this series. So many things make no sense and so far the book feels like a filler.
The best book in the series pretty much. I absolutely LOVE Hudson Vega, totally obsessed and the dual POV in this book with Grace and Hudson is chefs kiss!
Eeeeek!!! This book!!! I’m in love! 🥹 the fact that we get dual POVS?! The story?! Just ahhh! Straight up 5/5⭐️!!
This is the fith book in the series and let me tell you it’s a good one. Did you wonder after the last book what Grave remembered? Wonder no more! Cause now we read as BOTH Grace And Hudson about what happened during the four months they were “gone”. Frozen in stone to the world. At least Grace was, but now while the world is frantic around her she has to deal with Hudson her mates older brother and them being stuck inside her mind. But is everything as it seems about Hudson? Is he really who everyone claims?
I absolutely loved every second of this and it had me laughing and enjoying every moment. I was #teamhudson from the start and I’m glad I kept that view. This book is an absolute masterpiece and I’m glad I read it.
I am glad we got to see what happened with Grace and Hudson's lost time together. I was curious what happened during those times and we got to see it here. So far so nice. I love Hudson and getting more Hudson is a plus for me. It was nice seeing their interactions and banters. Will continue part 2 of Charm audible.
📖 Summary: Welcome to the in-between. Time is broken. Reality is warped. And Hudson and Grace? Stuck together — just the two of them — in a magical purgatory where survival means confronting the truth.
This isn’t a love story. It’s a war story with kissing and it absolutely wrecks you.
In this first half:
We get deep into Hudson’s head (and heart 💔)
Grace has to rebuild everything she thought she knew — about him, about herself, about what love costs
Time loops, monster battles, magical hijinks — it’s a full buffet of chaos
That one tent scene? Yeah. You replayed it. Don’t lie.
Also: The chemistry? Nuclear. The banter? Unmatched. The longing? Illegal.
💖 Character / Audio Reactions:
Hudson’s internal monologue is dripping in regret, love, and delicious self-loathing Grace’s evolution here? Tender, fierce, raw — she’s finally seeing him Their banter in this one? Pure serotonin with a side of soul ache The narration duo?? KILLED IT. Every whisper, every broken laugh, every charged pause? 🎧 Chef’s kiss And the moment the soul bond starts to hum??? Literal goosebumps.
✨ Themes that stabbed you in the feelings:
Being known is scarier than being hated
Redemption isn’t a moment — it’s a thousand choices
Love doesn't fix you — it chooses you, over and over
“You were never my enemy — just the only one who could hurt me”
🔥 Smut Level: Emotionally? Scorching. Physically? Still fade-to-black-ish, but that doesn’t mean your brain didn’t explode. The tension in that slow undressing scene??? We heard it. We felt it. #SmutTags: #HudsonPOVUnhinged #TentSceneRuinedMe #LongingIsLouderInAudio #TouchStarvedAndTethered #EnemiesToTrustMeNow #BanterAsForeplay #SoulBondInSurroundSound
