Very good read

This book kept my interest from beginning to end. I was so interesting that I didn't want to put it down and was sorry to see it end. The characters are interesting and likable they have a wonderful friendship. The mystery of who was Jane Doe and how she got Justice. Strong women is my favorite thing about this authors books. Thanks for another winner.

Better than Dead

Wade’s “Left for Dead” is an exhilarating read following the rise & fall of evil, even as it’s balanced by the fall & rise of love. Hidden in the open is a fearless heroine who pursues justice quietly but relentlessly. Honesty frees her at last to live in love and truth.

revenge at its best

Erin Wade always creates interesting characters and twisting plots that keep the pages turning. That “just one more chapter “ that keeps me up all night, she manages every time. And the bad guys always lose, very important to me, with the added pleasure of a HEA.

This was more of a 2.5 read for me. If you’re looking for a mediocre mystery with an easy to hate “bad guy” then this is it. If you want an in depth procedural with a side of high and low emotions and great characters getting revenge on said bad guy…this is not it. The writing felt juvenile and flat to me, there was no emotion other than whatever punctuation the author put with the sentence. The dialogue came across choppy with characters blurting out statements and there may be a response from someone or the whole dialogue comes to a stop and we move on to the next paragraph..what? The characters had no real depth or growth to them, what you see if what you get. The insta-love trope is probably one of my least favorite and it happens with light speed in this book. The whole mystery as to who Jane Doe was, I’ll admit, pretty good, I flipped flopped on my guess a couple of time. But as for the book as a whole…I’m kinda mad I paid $9.99 for it.

intriguing story

I love the friendships & romances as the developed. I thought I knew who Jane Doe was early on, & I was right. That part was a bit too easy for me.

I loved this one. I love Java and your other books but this one had me from the first page. I thought it was Hope. It was a good read. Thank you
