This book is a wealth of information on the Final Destination franchise. From the original idea and pitch through production of each film to the last installment (that was in development when the book was written). I learned so many trivia-worthy facts and about filmmaking in general. However, the documentary nature of the book does make it challenging to slog through. It is dense and repetitive, which I think is unavoidable. Also, the extensive list of real actor names gets confusing when I can't even remember all the character names in a franchise. I'm glad I read it. It provides wonderful context and background to the movies I love.

This collection is a very interesting and informative dive into one of the most original franchises in cinema history. From interviews to commentary, Escaping Death, navigates the best parts of making the Final Destination movies. It’s a great read and a shelf essential for any horror fan.

This book successfully got me interested in the Final Destination movies. I started reading just because I love learning about film production/history, but both the author’s passion and the stories shared by the cast and crew got me amped to watch them.

Looking forward to more film production/history books by this author.

If you love this Franchise you will love this book. Interviews from the directors, writers, actors. It’s written very well and makes me want to revisit all of the movies again. It also want me to bust out my dvd and watch the making of these movies. So good!!! Highly reccomend !
