A soul-stirring collection of poems, Kerri-Elizabeth Lohrey's Write It is a comforting and satisfying read about nature's magnificence and human emotions.

Enlivened with fifty evocative poems, Lohrey makes this book an interactive read where each of the poems has the following blank pages for readers to write their thoughts and reflections. The poems' length varies from a stanza to a page or a few pages, showing the creative side of the author. Each of them begins with a monochrome sunflower illustration with a phrase that stirs the mind. One beautiful example of it is "It's in the details that we experience wonder!"

It's a 221-page book, but due to its breathable blank pages, this extra pause adds beauty and uniqueness to it that's rare for a book.

Themes of life, love, nature, and emotions are what Lohrey richly offers in her poems. For instance, the poem "Everyone" speaks to any soul, where she says that "there will be one that influences your way and gives good and bad on the same day." Other lines resonate, too, saying, "Everyone can decide who you are and define you from their own scars. The real challenge is the one inside you."

The "Share the Love" poem is very encouraging, where lines teach to give what a person can, like a hug, a smile, or just being sunshine in someone's day. Additionally, Lohrey encourages creating some fun and sending laughter in many ways.

The author's love for nature is felt in her words, like what she wrote in the "Language of the Hills," saying, "Fulfillment is within the winds, flowers, the grass, and the brisk breeze; language is within nature's presence, and existence is peaceful."

Thought-provoking and pleasing, Write It is truly enjoyable to fans of poetry.
