What's better than one male on his knees, willing and eager to worship you? Two.

All my friends have found their soulmates. At this point, it feels like the universe is laughing at my misfortune. Not that I can think of having someone to share my bed every night. Oh no, my hand has already been promised to another.

I've made peace with never having partners, or at least I thought I had. When my crew is tasked with hiding two clones until they can acquire new identification documents, the last thing I should be thinking about is if they find me as attractive as I find them.

Adam is a grouchy male, always snarling and snapping his teeth like a wild animal. Seth is the softer of the two. He's gentle, kind, and eager to befriend everyone.

Awful experiments were conducted on them on Earth, leaving each with scars. They call to a part of me that wishes to comfort and protect, but they don't need anyone else. They already have each other, and no amount of me hoping to join them will make it happen.

Now, if I can get my fangs to stop thrumming with the need to bite, everything can return to normal.

Morgan Robinson

Morgan Robinson writes paranormal and science fiction romances about sweet monsters, usually of the alien variety. Strong, alpha heroes have always been interesting to her, but there needed to be a sweet and caring side as well. So while the heroes of her stories might be gigantic monsters with horns and scales, they're stuffed full of fluff and sweetness. Her novels contain plenty of steam, fluffy romance, and sometimes more than one MMC.

Morgan lives with her husband and her two dogs. When she's not writing about an alien warrior finding true love with a human, she's being carried in video games, reading lots and lots of romance novels, or rewatching classic slasher films.

Essa has been such a scary sweetheart in the previous books so it was nice to see her get a HEA. Seth was a doll and impossible not to love. Adam was complicated and very rarely anything but pissed off. I had a harder time connecting with his character because he was beyond emotionally constipated, but he did have a growth arc and stirred protective instincts in Essa that brought them together. We get some solid resolutions to long term problems and a neat bow to wrap up the series.

Spice: 5/5

Triggers: discussion of abuse and involuntary medical experimentation, violence, discussion of controlling parents, drugging, parent death (not mourned because not good parents), denigration of sex work (corrected and improved), child abduction and uncertain fate (historical), reference to past sexual abuse (vague), trauma responses, night terrors

I was really excited to get into Essa’s book, however, this one turned out to be a bit of a difficult read for me.
I love Essa, she’s a fierce protector of the ones she loves, while also gentle at heart. When she meets Seth and Adam, she feels a connection. But they already have something going on.
The dynamic between these three characters was really interesting. Seth was the peacekeeper between Adam and Essa’s fight for dominance. I sometimes felt like he was just there to keep them both happy. And that’s where I found myself struggling to get into this book. Adam and Essa’s relationship was a fight. Adam had so many walls up and so much anger, the only way he knew how to let Essa in was with aggression. I understand that he had a lot of painful experiences in the past that made him very abrasive but I didn’t really enjoy him as a character.
When the three of them have to return to Essa’s home planet we learn about the interesting and questionable customs her people live by. Mainly using collars on their concubines. Those customs were another part of the story that was hard for me to wrap my head around. Although I understand that she is an alien and so her planet would be very different, it just took me out of the book a bit because I was trying to reconcile my own feelings with the storyline.
It is not a bad thing to be challenged when reading and the author handled the struggles these characters had with care. The writing itself was still very enjoyable. However, I think my struggles with Essa’s home world plus my struggle with finding Adam likable made this one a three star read for me. Not bad, just not my favorite of the series.

4.5 stars. Essa, the female humanoid lead (with tail), is a princess on her planet but left rather than be forced into an arranged marriage with a male she loathed. Now, years later, she doesn’t regret leaving but she wouldn’t be averse to some companionship, since the rest of her crewmates have managed to locate mates.

Adam and Seth, the male human clone leads, have escaped from their creator/captors. Given the memories of their originals, they’re traumatised by what was done to both them and the originals, and determined to be free. Adam is angry with the world, partially due to the genetic modifications done to him. Neither was prepared for the attraction to Essa, especially since they’ve been in a relationship since they gained consciousness.

When Essa hears her sister is marrying the male she was engaged to, she rushes back to save her. None of her crewmates can accompany her but Adam and Seth could go as her concubines…

This story is dual POV, well written, and a steamy, human clone/alien, domme, ménage romance. I enjoyed the distinctiveness of the relationships between each pair of characters, especially the contrast between Essa’s relationship with Adam compared to Seth. I enjoyed that Essa was physically bigger and stronger than both males, and that was actually a contributory factor in the function of the relationship. I enjoyed Essa’s dominance and control contrasted with her care and compassion for those she deemed hers. I enjoyed Seth’s calmness, and his enjoyment and acceptance of himself and his desires and preferences. I empathised with Adam’s surface anger and understood why he presented that way. I enjoyed seeing him come to a more laidback approach to life, even though he remained abrasive. I enjoyed the erotic intimate scenes, and the enjoyment the males found engaging with Essa’s culture and its practices and expectations. I enjoyed the ending of this story and series, and the contentment all characters (including secondary characters) had found.

'Essa's wormed her way into Seth's heart, and I should hate her for it. Anytime I try to, I think about how they both touched me, how they both wanted to have me, take me, and care for me. I don't know what to do with the feelings. I'm not supposed to have any strong feelings toward anyone but Seth because he was bonded to me during our experiments. But Essa is wiggling her way into this, and I don't know what to do about it. Especially since it's not like we'll be able to be with her permanently.'

I loved this book. Great world building and wonderful characters. I think this has become my favorite in the series so far. I loved Essa, Seth, and Adam. I loved the dynamic and chemistry between them. I was fascinated seeing things from Essa's point of view, and learning about her people and customs. Adam and Seth have been through so much and are each other's ride or die. But Essa is burrowing into their hearts as they are into hers. But she's not exactly available, and after what they've endured, what they would have to do to be with her now is not something they would accept. Adam is a grumpy personality and not good at communicating and expressing his feelings. Seth is very good at reading him even without the mind linking. The story has tension, suspense, and action. A great romance. 5 stars

I have been waiting for Essa's happy ending. After reading the earlier books, this was the perfect addition to the series. Essa has been waiting for someone to call her own and when they save two men that are hiding from researchers, she hopes that they will be interested in her. Originally Adam and Seth before experimentation were completely different and normal men but after are changed forever. Adam was made to be a superhuman soldier with no emotions and Seth was made to be an empath. Somewhere in the process they learned how to read each other's minds and became inseparable. When they meet Essa, Adam is initially resistant to the idea because he wants Seth to himself. However, when Essa intents to sacrifice her happiness for her sister and leave Seth and Adam decide to become her concubines so that they can go with her and keep her safe. Once arriving on her home planet what she originally thinks will be a rescue mission becomes a surprising visit that ends with her sister admitting her love for her ex fiance and instead of Essa having to marry Iddis she gets to watch her little sister marry the love of her life. She still gets to have Adam and Seth and return to the ship like she wanted.

Essa, a Haventh warrior and crew member of the Jolly Folly, is used to control, discipline, and the occasional chaos of intergalactic missions. But when she’s assigned to watch over two human clones, Adam and Seth, freshly freed from a secret research facility, her world shifts. Adam is all teeth and temper, haunted by the violence and abuse that shaped him. Seth is quieter but no less wounded, caught between loyalty to Adam and the pull he feels toward Essa. What starts as duty turns into something deeper. With tension, attraction, and complicated emotions growing between them, Essa, Adam, and Seth form a relationship shaped by consent, culture clash, and the need to feel safe. As Essa plans revenge on the people who hurt them, the trio must decide if trust, love, and commitment are enough to create a future worth fighting for. A steamy, alien, MMF, ménage, sci-fi romance, exploring trauma, recovery, revenge, intimacy, trust, and found family, set aboard a starship where loyalty runs deep and love doesn’t follow convention.

This was another engaging read for the series and I was thrilled to see it was Essa getting her story. She may be a warrior but she's been supportive to the other gals throughout the series so I was curious about how her HEA would come about. When she gets tasked to help Seth and Adam, human clones that have been horribly abused, well, she feels the connection... There are things going on in Essa's life that get sprinkled throughout the story, keeping it exciting. Seth, Adam and Essa end up forming a wild relationship that involves being a switch. Definitely unexpected by me and it added a different element to their story. It definitely helped balance out how fierce Essa is. Of course, the other crew members are present, throughout, adding more depth and keeping things fun. I'm really enjoying this series but I will mention that it's best to read these books in order with the crew being so close. Good fun!

I was very excited to read Pleasure Crew Essa! Seeing Essa be a total sweetheart to the girls in the earlier books I was so hyped to see her get her partners and Seth & Adam did not disappoint. I loved that there was much variation in dynamics, Essa & Adam were good as switches and Seth stayed the steady sub they needed to balance out their fieriness. I would love a short about Niivi and Iddis the whole forbidden love/sisters fiance trope would make for an interesting read and Haven III is an awesome desert setting with a great cultural lore. Like the other books in the series, this was a delightful read with an engaging alien world, I loved the clones concept, I loved seeing more of Essa's backstory and I love that our lovely cast were still there for fun and emotional scenes!

Amazing conclusion to the series

Morgan Robinson delivers another fantastic sci-fi romance with "Essa," concluding the 'Pleasure Crew' quartet on an impressive note! I appreciated Adam's complex and often conflicting character development as the relationships evolved. The connection between the main characters was both compelling and delightfully spicy. I also loved how Essa is fiercely protective of her loved ones, even to the point of putting hurting herself. Having experienced Essa's perspective throughout the various books and the first half of this one, I was surprised by the unexpected twist.

I highly recommend checking out Robinson's bonus content linked at the end of the book; it’s both spicy and fun!

Big fan of seeing Essa get her own story. Loved Seth and Adam and their relationship with Essa.

I hated Adam in the beginning, but he definitely grew on me as I progressed. Plus his dynamic with Essa and Seth were too good.

I wished the ending didn't feel as rushed (if that makes sense) but I would absolutely re-read this again. Although I did feel that the part of seeing OG Adam's daughter's wedding tape felt a bit forced, I guess it was a better ending than like HERE IS A BOOK HE WROTE or something lol.

Hoping the author has it in her to continue this series because I'm curious about Helna hehe.

With all of her friends having found their person or persons, Essa is feeling a bit left out and realizing she would like to find love as well. When she is tasked with helping to transport and care for clones from earth, Essa wonders if maybe there will be something there. Upon meeting them she is a bit discouraged but Adam and Seth turn out to be her guys. Which was a good thing for both her and Adam and Seth who as clones also are trying to understand who they are. In one another they find home.

MMF 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ ⚔️

This was a bunch of kinky fun! Switch, switch, sub is such a rare mix (honestly hard to find femdom period) and the subspace venom was definitely a new to me trope. Seth was so sweet and my heart broke for Adam. So freaking good and so happy to see Essa get her happy ending. Here's hoping the pirate gang get their book soon.

I follow her on socials and subscribe as a supporter and so enjoying this series of books. This is the fourth book in the Pleasure Crew series and an MMF tale. Essa has more or less given up on ever finding her mate/s in life, after watching her friends find theirs.
Lucky for her though, she has two, Adam and Seth, both very different but all three are perfect together.

Two Broken Males for Essa
The crew of the Jolly Folly have all been paired off, except for Essa. When they take on a side job to help two clones get off planet, emotions flare. Seth and Adam are a couple, but is there space for Essa to take them as hers? I loved the dynamics and personality complexities in this story - there was a delicious underlying tension throughout that kept me gripped. The whole crew of the Jolly Folly were simply amazing - I’ll definitely be revisiting! A fantastic read.

When you read a spicy series and actually enjoy the plot!

So, this is probably my favorite book of the series, and while the heat is “medium” compared to some of my reads, I actually enjoyed the characters and plot. I was so glad that Essa got her HEA, and the characters are an interesting clash of personalities that make it work. Also, A+ to the author for writing a male/masc “brat” -you don’t get a lot of those and I think this was done wonderfully.

This next book is about Essa and two clone males that they pick up. Both have been experimented on and the distrust shows. But one of them has a secret side and Essa is the only one that can bring it out of him. Trouble back home sends Essa back to the last place she wants to be. Home. Her two new companions won’t let her go alone no matter what they have to do.

This is the fourth book in the series and Essa's story. I loved the relationship dynamics between the three main characters. It was steamy but also emotional especially due to the trauma from Adam's and Seth's past.

This is a definitely why choose with Essa at the helm. Adam and Seth are already the dynamic duo. Essa wants to find her own happy ever after. There is suspense, action-packed scenes. And good old fashioned tension between each other that builds a relationship. Like it a lot.

Enjoyable

I've enjoyed the whole series and getting to know everyone on the crew. A wee bit of world building too. I'm just so over "pupils blown out" on repeat. A little too much restating is the only overall issue w this series

I first suggest you read the previous books since they all take place on the same ship with the same people. The story keeps building. Each book is about a couple but all the other characters are very much intertwined. In saying that this book was very different form the others. Adam has so many emotions and kinks that I am not sure if all of them were discovered in this story. He is a hard character to like. Seth seems weak but as you get to know him he is just the opposite. He does what he needs to do but he makes sure everyone is happy. Essa- she has been in all the books and now it is her story. She has to make some hard decisions about her life and I liked how the author did not just tell it all at once there was just enough given throughout the book. Her need to protect is always there and Adam's need to protect is as well. These two butt heads so much but their union works.
This book has a lot of bedroom scenes both MM and MMF.

Two humans and a predator…

Essa, as you can guess is not human but an Alex predator who’d like to play nice with the humans Seth and Adam. They were slaves.

Meat & Taters:
* Oh, Essa, with her huge heart. Seeing the damaged souls of Adam and Seth and loving them as they are. Filling the leak in their hearts they weren’t aware was there, until Essa.
* As a Morgan Robinson book, I expected to go through all the feels with this one. Pleasure Crew: Essa was the biggest ‘Feel Trip’ from this author to date. A few of the scenes were so unexpectedly intense, I was left raw, needing to take a break to continue my read. Beautiful. Looking forward to the next installment.
