Book five and things are finally falling into place. Wynter is standing up for herself and her brothers and demanding more. She's demanding so much more for them. Her brothers are her world and she holds a discussed place in each of their hearts.
Just when you think things are starting to wrap up, more ghosts come out of the woodwork. I tell you, I'd have hated to be reading this series as and when it was published. The wait in between books would have killed me. As it is, life is currently on hold while I read the series.

I read a review where the person wrote: Creasy invented a new subcategory: New adult family saga.
I think this is what this series is: a family saga. In this part so many things happen: ✵ Wynter gets a job as a session musician in england. ✵ Indio quits his jobs.
There are so many things happening that this book never gets boring and I really loved it. I could not put any of the five books down after starting reading them. Sara you go and I am really looking forward to read the next part of this story. And there is so much potential for stuff which can and will happen to this family that I hope there will be a lot more books and I am sure I will read them all!
Every single book has an intricate and suspenseful plot that has kept me gripped since the first one (which is pretty impressive considering I get bored of series often). The author approaches many themes like abuse, family relations and coming of age, through a realistic and unique lens, using characters that you can’t help but love. Amazing read!
I love following Wynter and her brothers, as they grow and change. The bond between them is awe inspiring. There's never a dull moment in that family. I'm so in love with these characters, and absolutely can't wait for the next book. I really want a house like they have, it's awesome. I received a copy of this book for free in exchange for an honest review.
I’m actually amazed and thrilled with how much I love this series. Not much time elapses, and on the surface, not much happens. But this family. This series. One thing not very realistic to me is how mature and philosophical and dogged Wynter is. Considering her past childhood of starvation, isolation, and beatings, she’s actually incredibly well adjusted. Now on to unraveling more family secrets.
Each of these stories are individual but yet closely connected. There is so much excitement, adventure, and a little mystery that pulls you farther into the mix. You just have to keep reading more.
