Two hearts yearning

As Wynter and Jesse set out on an adventure-filled road trip to rescue Indio from drugs and despair, back home Caleb resolves to take control of his family as once-close relationships deteriorate.

Meanwhile in Sacramento, Xay Morant lives with his ailing mother and a whole heap of bitterness over his year spent in the Light. He's doing okay, all things considered.

But he's never forgotten the girl from the ashram who used to climb through a hole in the fence in the dead of night to listen to rock songs on the radio with him…

The truth

Book seven and I'm finally getting to the bottom of where the rot started that tie this family apart. Took this long to meet Xay. It's so much and not enough all at the same time. How will things pan out.. I'll find out on the next episode of What's with Wynter..

So Good!

Well, that escalated quickly. Okay, not really...we're on book 7. Let's say there was an aggressive acceleration in dramatic events. Things are really falling into place.

Intense and Epic

I'm so in love with the Wynter Wild series, and this one was no different. A must read book that hooks you from the beginning. Awesome characters and original plot . Now I'm desperate for book 8.

I absolutely loved this book. I think at this point we all know Sara Creasy does not disappoint! Seven books in and I'm still crazy hooked onto the story. I honestly have no words as to how amazing this was, it was that good! The plot, the characters, the relationships, the goats, Xay, it was all written so well! You would be doing a disservice to yourself if you didn't read it.

After 7 books, I cannot wait for more!

Oh wow. Such as amazing and engaging series.
Such a broken family. Each trying so hard but still not able to escape childhood trauma.
Poor Indio. So tortured.
Poor Jesse. Rational, yes but wanting to be loved so very much. And making poor choices.
Caleb. I hope we find his secret lady soon. I hope it’s a good choice.
Poor Wynter. So lost in this works, except when it comes to music.
And now we meet Xay. His life also so tragic. Tragic also that his first Fairn introduction is to Harry the loser.
And we get just a bit of history into Miriam. The psychopath mother.
I cannot wait to get more of the story.

I absolutely loved this book!! I'm so glad Xay and Wynter are closer to reuniting and I kinda liked Harry when he met Xay at the end, it's not how I expected him to react. I am really sad about the goats and I cried, and feel even worse for Jesse. I honestly can't wait to read the next book, this series is amazing :)

*Duet* is another beautifully heartfelt story from Sara Creasy that quietly settles into your heart and stays there. Her characters feel real and deeply human, and their journey together is full of warmth, emotion, and hope.

It’s a story about connection, healing, and finding light in each other, even when life feels complicated. I finished it feeling soft, moved, and grateful for the experience.

Thank you, Sara Creasy, for another tender and meaningful read. As always, it’s an easy five stars.

Filled with excitement and strength

The characters in this book show so much strength and power to make it through anything life throws at them. I did not want to put this book down until I reached the end. I loved this story.
