Themes: growing up in a cult and cutting the ties with it, sibling bonds, secrets, music, loyalty
Protagonist Ages: FMC is nearly 18, her brothers who are the other main characters are 21 and older.
Pacing: slow, story needed 10 books to be kind of finished
Plot: rating: 4 stars, good ending to the series, but somehow I feel that there has to be another book for some happy endings.
Overall Rating: 5 stars

I’m kind of sad, that the story ended, because I loved the whole series. Winter and her brothers went through so much and came out stronger, united and they found a lot of their missing pieces. But at the end of this book the story doesn’t feel finished. It’s like the 10th book needs an epilogue book, where the forever home is build, where we get to know if they will start a sibling band, who play indie and rock music. With Kim as their manager and Caleb with another leading organisation role they could tour together. Who will be their bass player and what’s the bands name? Will Wynter like Ashanti and will Ashanti and her Gran move in? And will Caleb raise Ashanti (because the Gran is ill and old). What happens to Katharina and her kids, not that their money is gone? So many questions, or maybe I’m hungry for more.

Sara Creasy I adore your Wynter Wild series, you did a to job to have me laughing, in tears, grieving. Feel so much things during this whole series. I would like to have brothers like Caleb and Indio, as sister like Wynter.

I can't believe it's all over. I'm going to miss the entire family. Don't expect every loose end to be tied up in the way you might expect. After all, this is not a romance. But we leave the family in a good place and I for one will miss them terribly.

I've said before that I'm not much of a series reader. I've certainly never read 10 books about the same characters. And not short books, either. 8-10 hours per book. But it's been 100 hours very well spent. This series will have you hooked from the very start and will keep you hooked long after you've finished.

I have adored this series. Is it finished now? It seems it could go on.
I want Indio to get his One. Who is not Wynter.
I want Jesse madly in love with someone who loves him back.
I want Xay to find a real love in the outside world.
I want a Caleb and Kim wedding book.
Lots of things were tied up and cleared up in this book. Still, I’d continue the series, if more books were put into it.
