In a world where words often fail, Forever From Afar is a deeply emotional slow burn romance that captures the silent ache of unspoken love. Ravi Kanth weaves a tender and heartwarming story of a man who quietly watches over the woman he adores — never daring to confess, yet never able to let go.
As time moves forward and life takes its own course, his feelings never waver. Through fleeting glances, quiet moments, and unbreakable longing, their souls remain connected — even from afar.
If you’ve ever loved someone without saying a word... If you’ve ever waited for the right moment that never came... This story is for you. Forever From Afar is a poetic and heartfelt romance about longing, emotional connection, and the kind of love that endures — even in silence.
Forever From Afar truly felt like a warm hug 🫂 — the kind of story that sits with you gently instead of demanding attention. Based on the story’s tone and themes, this book is all about unspoken love, restraint, and emotions that exist in silences rather than confessions 💔
What stood out most (and something we desperately need back) were the chapter headings 🙏✨ They added structure, mood, and emotional grounding — dear authors, PLEASE bring this back.😭
The writing is tender and introspective, focusing on glances, pauses, and quiet devotion rather than dramatic romance. It’s deeply relatable for anyone who’s loved silently or waited without certainty 🤍 The emotional core feels honest and very human.
That said, the switching between scenes felt a bit too fast ⏳😕 Just when a moment started to sink in, the story moved on, which slightly reduced the emotional impact in places.
Still, this was comforting, thoughtful, and sincere — not perfect, but meaningful.
And the scene: "Do you like me?" "Always" 😩🤌❤️
⭐ 3.5-star read — gentle, relatable, emotionally warm, and best enjoyed slowly 🤍✨
~♡~pre-read~♡~ The author kindly sent me an ARC of this book, and I’m honestly so excited to dive in ❤️🤞🏻💫
I enjoyed this! I am always happy to see books written by non-white authors for a chance. This did my heart good. I hope that more people find your book!
I don't usually read romance novels, but I feel like strongly recommending this one because it touches very sensitive chords in the human soul.
Many of us, myself first, have lived stories similar to the one narrated in the novel: the "condemnation" of a love that is not expressed, becuase of many reasons (fears, shyness, sense of inadequacy,...), but the courage to live it anyway, in a context in which what is given does not correspond to what is received.
In a certain sense, as a Harry Potter fan, it reminded me of the love Severus Snape always felt for Lily Potter.
Forever From Afar is the kind of love story that doesn’t rush toward confession or grand declarations. Instead, it sits quietly beside you, unfolding in soft moments and lingering silences. From the very first page, the ache of unspoken love feels painfully familiar, as if the story is borrowing emotions many readers have carried but never named.
Ravi Kanth writes longing with remarkable tenderness. The protagonist’s love is never loud or demanding—it exists in glances held a second too long, in the instinct to protect from a distance, in choosing silence over disruption. What makes the story so moving is its restraint. The absence of words becomes its own language, and that quiet devotion feels more powerful than any dramatic romance ever could.
As time passes and life inevitably moves on, the constancy of his feelings becomes both beautiful and heartbreaking. There is no bitterness in his waiting, only acceptance and a gentle sadness that love doesn’t always need to be acknowledged to be real. The emotional connection between the two characters feels almost spiritual, as if their souls remain aware of each other even when circumstances keep them apart.
The pacing mirrors real life—slow, patient, and sometimes frustrating in the way only reality can be. Yet that is exactly where the story finds its strength. It understands that some loves are not meant to be lived out loudly, but are meant to be carried quietly, shaping who we become.
Forever From Afar is a deeply human book. It speaks to anyone who has loved silently, waited endlessly, or held onto feelings long after the moment had passed. It doesn’t promise happy endings in the traditional sense, but it offers something just as meaningful: the validation that love, even when unspoken, is never wasted.
Forever From Afar is a gentle, heartfelt romance that captures the pain and beauty of silent love. Ravi Kanth K writes with honesty and emotion, making you feel the depth of longing between two souls. It’s slow, poetic, and sincere — not for those who want drama, but perfect if you believe love can survive distance and silence.
