A Roar for Magic is the second title in the Mystic Hollow series and brings us the charming romance between Clover and Rook. Rook is returning home to Mystic Hollow at the insistence of his grandmother. He can run his corporation anywhere, but it seems that the town is calling him home… and perhaps, his grandmother’s matchmaking skills are being put to use as well. When filling a candle order for his grandmother, Rook will stumble (literally) around his mate, Clover, a witch with a particular strength in botanical scents and candle creation. Their first encounter is filled with tumbling shelves as this once graceful tiger shifter cannot help his reaction to finding his mate.
While Clover is a bit slower to react, but definitely intrigued and attracted, and this couple will begin their mate dance amid growing unease in the town as theft and dangerous magic begin to appear. While it was hoped that the former divide between the shifters and witches of Mystic Hollow was in the past, it seems that there are still elders who… disagree with bloodlines being “diluted” by witch magic. Soon, the danger will become more targeted to Clover as she and Rook work together to strengthen their mate bond and solve the theft of vital potions from Rook’s labs.
I loved Clover and Rook, both together as a couple and individually. This is one protective tiger shifter and one powerful witch who will guard her mate with her life. If you love a well-written, steamy, emotional shifter romance with touches of humor and danger, then you’d love A Roar for Magic. I’m enjoying this series so much.

Another simply wonderful addition to Mystic Hollow, great characters and storyline
Clover Bishop is a recently diversifying in anew range and that is in scented candles, these are no ordinary scents they are actually all a collection of enchanted scents and they have been extremely popular and demand is outstripping supply quite often within mystic Mystic Hollow.
Rook Katz is a tiger shifter that has spent many years looking for his mate but knows that the chance of finding her would be unlikely, imagine his surprise when he was in Mystic Hollow and first came across her scent and knew that this was the scent of his True Mate.
Rook Katz is a protective Alpha and his natural protective instincts have now decided to kick in with full force and it is essential that she is kept safe and that his Tiger is aware that she is his and now its essential that he let her know this as well.
Rook is determined that Clover will know how important she is to him and guarantees that once she accepts that he is her mate and that as an alpha and a billionaire he is also able to show how much he wants to love and care for her and how together they could have a wonderful life.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.

This was an incredible small-town fantastical romance! I particularly enjoyed the unique qualities of the fantasy world Milly Taiden creates in this story. The world-building was rich and immersive, with well-thought-out details that brought the setting to life. The mix of magic and everyday life made the fantasy elements feel both enchanting and relatable.
The relationship between Clover and Rook developed slowly, but it was worth the wait! Their chemistry was undeniable, and watching them navigate their challenges and emotions made their connection feel all the more meaningful. I appreciated how their bond grew gradually, allowing their feelings to evolve naturally. Their emotional journey, which was full of tension, was one of the highlights of the story.
I also loved the small-town vibes, especially within the respective species. The sense of community was palpable, and the interactions between different groups felt so warm and welcoming. It was clear that this was a place where everyone knew each other, and it created a sense of belonging that added to the charm of the story. While he has come home to open the first of his new business venture, his sis informs him her best friend owes two shops that he would need to check out for his business since he seems to be having a problem that may be a help through her friend Clover.
Clover is a young witch with strong light magic, who runs both the botanical, candle, and scent shop. When she meets the alpha they both are why taken with each other, one more aware than the other. A very entertaining story line, and the character s keep the story going with good/dark magic zipping around. I read a copy without obligations. I volunteered an honest review

Clover is a woman who owns her own business. She is also a witch, and her business is making enchanted scented candles.
Rook is an alpha, billionaire, and tiger shifter. He owns a luxury spa and is Clover's newest client.
When the two met, the last thing they were expecting to find was what the other meant to them.
This is a fabulously magical and entertaining read full of romance and love. I loved reading it, and I can't wait for what's next in this series.

Mystic Hollow blends the best of shifters with the magic of witches. Throw in some corporate espionage, jealous sabotage, and fated mates and this book has all the right elements for a captivating story.
Clover and Rook must combine their talents to take down the dark magic that threatens their town, and their bond in particular. Blending his technical precision with her more whimsical touches, they create the perfect trap for the ones that threaten Rook’s leadership. This story was a fun addition to this series.

Excellent read
Just loving this series. Witches and Shifters, fated mates and a double dose of evil. Love the way characters from the first book are fully involved in this one and presume the next book will include the other characters that have already made appearances. Onto the next.....

We get another glimpse of Mystic Hollow as Clover meets her match in alpha tiger shifter Rook Katz. Their romance will not be popular with some of the other tiger shifters, mainly Rook's uncles. Black magic is being used to try to keep them apart and Clover will have her hands full keeping down the resulting chaos. I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.
