How the world will change before the Second Coming of Jesus Christ

Wow what an amazing book! The research and detail to write this is just beyond phenomenal.

I loved reading this book, it is so well done. I have heard many of the things talked about in the past but they lacked the timeline or reference.

This book goes into detail about things that are prophesied and the general sequence of the probable order of things that will happen.

It lets you realize that with Gods direction that these things may happen soon and close together or things may take awhile to happen. Quick hear and slow there until we are ready to receive and behold Christ in his glory and live.

This brought things into prospective and very understandable. It is bringing me a desire to change things in my life, to help me become more like Jesus as he has asked us to. So I can be worthy to live in his presence.

I think you will love this book and be glad that you have read it. I know that I did.

This is an outstanding and spiritually uplifting book—well-organized, complete, and incredibly easy to understand. Richard is a gifted writer and storyteller, and he presents the signs of the times in clear chronological order, which brings both clarity and insight. The book is filled with powerful quotes from Prophets and Apostles and offers a deeply spiritual witness to the truthfulness of its message. It has brought great perspective and strengthened my faith. I have recommended it to several others and consider it the best book I’ve ever read on this topic. Whether you're seeking to better understand how the Second Coming will unfold or simply want to draw closer to the Spirit, I highly recommend this book.

What an incredible read! The author has done amazing in-depth research – and lays out his conclusions and information in an orderly, readable, and understandable manner. I received an ARC of this book and have already pre-ordered two copies – will have to order more when they are available. Everyone I talk to about “Before The Second Coming” wants to read it because I keep raving about what a wonderful read it was and how informative. It solves a lot of questions we have about the events that will happen before the Second Coming of the Savior. The author cites scriptural evidence and revelation that points to the unfolding of the great events that will precede the Savior’s glorious return. Love this book! Definitely one that needs to read, then reread to absorb it all.

This book is fascinating - I love how events are put together chronologically in a logical way that helps me understand what is going on and will go on in the world. I always dreaded the calamities of the last days, but now I have optimism that as long as we stay close to the Lord and obey His commandments, we will have heavenly power to do unbelievably hard things. And, we will love feeling that power. That must have taken the author so much work to find hundreds of scriptures and meld them together to show the big picture. I am loving this book ! This is one of the best ARCs I have ever read.

A great book using quotes from the scriptures and general authorities specifying the events occurring before the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. It is an easy read that describes the events in chronological order. The book's central message should be a wakeup call to the world and those members of the church who are not prepared for this day. While the end result of Christ's return will be great, the process to get there will be filled with great destruction for a world that has turned away from its Savior. As President Nelson's keeps stressing the time to prepare is now.

So much research, study & insight have gone into this book about the signs of Christ's Second Coming. It was extremely interesting to read and gives a lot to think about. My favorite parts of the book are all the places where the author points out all the many signs and events (in the Old and New Testament, as well as in the Book of Mormon) that are Types of Christ. I love the symbolism and parallels and meaning that can be found in studying these things out.

I have really enjoyed reading this book and learned much about the events leading up to the Savior's Second Coming. The book is well thought out and organized. The author backs up his premise with scriptures and quotes from modern day Prophets and apostles.

This is an amazing book that walks you through the events preceding the Second Coming of Christ, using quotes from General Authorities and Prophets, as well as Scripture.
Definitely a must read for anyone serious in their study of Christ’s Second Coming!

Very thorough book - a little dry and repetitive in parts, but probably unavoidable given that many things overlap in the subject matter. It’s filled with good info, and I had no idea about the Jewish feasts that it discussed at the end. Really interesting.
