Straight bros Jesse and Simon are on vacation in Barcelona together, soaking up the sun and chatting up babes on the beach. Simon's more into Jesse than the babes, but he still agrees to tag along to a foam party. They're shocked to learn that the hot woman Jesse was chatting up thought Jesse and Simon were boyfriends and has taken them to a gay club. Deep in the foam, inhibitions drop and Simon and Jesse decide they should be more than just bros after all.

Ok, so..this was HAWT! I mean perhaps bc I like watching lol I would love to be a witness to two hot young men getting it on right there in public. Let me back up a bit bc there is a decent amount of backstory for such a short erotic novella. So Jesse and Simon are on vacation in Spain. Simon’s thoughts are not mistaking his desires for Jesse. But Jesse is straight so they would never go there....right? I couldn’t imagine having the hots for a friend and never saying anything but it does make for a hot coming together. So I believe I’ve witnessed a foam party in a movie, so there isn’t much covering the people but there is music, drinking, and lights so a lot can happen and people aren't that fazed. I will read more and more by this author bc there are a lot of themes I enjoy present in this book.

I'm no American, so I had no idea what a foam party was. But it sounded so fun hello??? 😩😩 And GAY AT THATTTT 🤪

This was surprisingly good from start to finish. The friendship was really believable and the way they went from friends to lovers felt actually natural.

And ofc, we have to appreciate the OTT scene where Jesse pulled a bottle of lube out of his shoe....

… I FUCKING DIEDDDDD 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 BUT HEY, I'd take this over them just going in bare any day!!!! A little OTT never killed anybody. Going in bare, however, I bet that's at least an ER visit.

I believe Lucas has also written a few stories with absolutely no lube or prep whatsoever, so yep... gimme the lube in the shoe 🙈🤪🤪 Gotta keep my standards low.

😈 A Spicy Foam Party And Two Best Friends 😏

I love every short story by this author. I wish this author would write longer erotic stories because I would eat that up. This was a sexy and sweet story about two best friends vacationing in Barcelona. Simon has been looking at his bestie Jesse differently lately. They get invited to a foam party which happens to be a gay club and these besties discover a new side to themselves and their relationship. 🔥🔥🔥💦

Definitely good. I'd never heard of a foam party, but Wiki says they've been a thing since 1932, popularized in the 1990s by club promoters in Ibiza. Fascinating. But when your erotica compels you to research something, it's an indication that the plot isn't gripping. It's a hot scene with lots of voyeurism and intensity.

We're in Simon's POV as he vacations in Spain with his straight best friend Jesse, who Simon lowkey lusts after. While on the beach, Jesse goes to hit on a group of women and one of them, Carmen, invites them to go with her to a foam party that night, swimwear recommended. Unbeknownst to the guys, it's at a gay nightclub because Carmen is ace and feels safe letting go in a space where men won't hit on her and she thought Jesse and Simon were a couple. Definitely contrived, but I liked her and Simon obviously needed a push to do something about his attraction to Jesse. Going from 0 to 100 in a public club for your first time is a bit much, though, if you think about it. This is erotica not really made for thinking about, though, so I'll just give it all the chili peppers possible for spice and walk away a bit wanting for more story.

This was a quick, steamy and enjoyable read that I thought was another good addition to the Straight College Jocks Series but just like the previous few of novellas it didn’t hit like the others I’ve read previously which could have to being the 11th novella of the series. It had an epilogue but since it was the night after Jesse & Simon got invited to the foam party by a Carmen who Jesse was trying to pick up on the beach, not realising that it was actually a gay club. I thought Jesse & Simon were hot together and the transition from best friends to so much more felt natural, as even when they were just friends there were obviously vibes since Carmen thought that they were boyfriends. I’m looking forward to reading more from this series, as well as more books from Lucas Blaze in the future.

A Foam Party Covered Much While Revealing the Most Important

Simon and Jesse are tricked into going to a foam party, not knowing that it was at a gay club. After getting separated in the foam, wondering around was very interesting and exposure was expected, although the swimwear most were wearing was almost invisible if it was still on the bodies slick with foam.

The obscuring foam allowed the boys to see past the friends that they had been and find their dream partners.

I wasn't too sure about this, the title sounded a wee bit cheesy and slutty but, having never heard of such a thing I was game to be educated on foam parties. I was right, it's slutty, but the main character was a total nervous sweetheart. It's a short but sweet bi-awakening with an HEA.

Distraction

I found the lack of basic geographic knowledge distracting. The first time the ocean was mentioned I thought Ok, no biggie. But the next few times it just haunted me. Barcelona is on the sea, not the ocean.
