A life without financial worries A deed to a castle A nest of hot gargoyles?
Charlotte I don’t know what was more finding out I had an aunt or that my aunt is dead. No, scratch that, the most surprising revelation is that monsters are real. Supernaturals and monsters have always lived in the dark. My inheritance is a fortune and a castle. But somehow no one mentioned the castle is occupied by Darius, Julius, Marcus, and an as—We’ll call him Atlas. These gargoyles think I’m moving in on their home… when all I want to do is “find myself,” collect my inheritance, and move on.
What’s next? Who knows?
Only a few things are One, I don’t belong in Ireland. Two, Atlas hates me more than he hates…everybody. Three, I hold the key to this castle, whether they like it or not.
Will I find myself and move on as intended, or is Ireland, with the gargoyles, destined to be my new home?
This might be the perfect palate cleanser if you’re looking for a cute, spicy, low-commitment why-choose romance to reset your brain between heavier books.
This has a fun setup: a surprise inheritance, a moody castle in Ireland, and four very different gargoyles who are not thrilled to share their home. It’s got plus-size rep, queer rep, and a heroine on a journey to find herself in the midst of monsters being revealed to the world. Honestly? I had a good time.
That said, don’t come in expecting depth. The story flirts with family drama and emotional arcs, but never really commits. The relationships are lightning-fast and the spice takes precedence by a lot. There’s not a ton of buildup. This isn't the book for you if you need deep emotional arcs or slow-burning romance. But if you want something fun and easy to fly through, this might work for you.
Thanks to Flying Pig PR and the author for the complimentary copy. This review is voluntary and all opinions are my own.
It was a struggle to read this. I almost dnf but because it was an arc I pushed through it.
This had a lot of potential to be good but I was disappointed. The story jumped forward at times. I had to check if I accidentally skipped over couple of chapters.
There was no real relationship building. Here is four gargoyle males for you. Okay thanks. And they just like each other. One of the MMC hated her and in a blink of an eye he was obsessed about her. It was all so rushed.
I would have liked more information about Charlotte and her family history. There was no plot twists. The spice was just nasty. I love a lot of kinky stuff but this was not hot and steamy at all. Just very poorly written.
Super cute RH between human artist Charlotte and a nest of four hunky gargoyles she inherits along with an ancestral castle the likes of which she never could’ve dreamed.
On arrival to the Irish castle, Charlotte quickly learns she’s not alone, that there are four very hot beings sharing her space. Right away the four recognize Charlotte as their mate, but things don’t go smoothly.
As the terms of the will state she must remain in residence at the castle while “finding herself” to inherit control of the fortune and the real estate. Charlotte also learns she’s not entirely human along the way. It’s a delightful, funny, extremely spicy, and emotional journey to a HEA for this otherworldly moresome.
I received an advance reader copy from Flying Pig PR, and I’m pleased to share my honest review.
Thank you for allowing me to read Who Owns You early!
Such a cute book ahhhh. We all can say we love a good why choose romance. Charlotte catches a bad break with her job only to find out her aunt has passed away leaving her a castle in Ireland not knowing 4 gargoyles have already made it their home. I love how each gargoyle is vastly different making their nest seem well rounded to benefit each other. Cute and filled with jokes, flirtation, tension and all the wonderful spicy scenes. A fun and short read that’s perfect for a cozy evening.
I'll be honest, by the end of the book I hated it. The relationship building was pretty terrible and the two gargoyles who were supposed to be really into her avoided her when things went wrong and even suggested that they get rid of her?!? The one that hated her had an epiphany after a mystery event which caused him to nearly die and then suddenly loved her?!? What the actual hell?? Finally, the leader barely interacts with her until the very end and then he admits he was wrong and they have sex? A minor pet peeve (which compared to all the other things is very minor) is that there was an MM relationship (with very little MM content) that she didn't know about until after she'd had sex with one of the partners, I hate that, I hate when it feels like people are being misled. All in all, this book made me angry.

The first few chapters of this book had me hooked. What little girl dosnt dream about inheriting a castle in Ireland along with a boat load of money. Especially when that castle comes with its own harem. I adored the relatable plus sized female character. ( we don’t seem to have enough of them) and I loved the relationship she had with her adopted sister who was skinny without jealousy or judgement on her. We love a healthy relationship. I struggled for a little bit with how sudden things were accepted and casually but it paved the way for a faster transition into her gargoyle paradise so I didn’t mind it. If your into slow burns or instant love tropes this is the book for you. If you are into enemies to lovers this is technically the book for you! If your into cute collectible gargoyles in different colors this is definitely the book for you. I love it, the romance was sweet the spice was spicy and the plot was cozy!
FFS for the first 30% of the book we haven't even met the Gargoyles yet. it's just a bunch of talk about the main character feeling like nobody can see her because she's not thin, and losing her job..... and then surprise, she inherits a castle in ireland, though that Parts never fully explained ( if the supposed aunt was an actual blood relation on her parents had left Island a long time ago how was it that she ended up being the person to inherit it? was there really no other descendent of any coven member other than her? especially since apparently the deed to the castle was actually lost a long time ago).
Apparently her parents were really old witches? Cool, they were that powerful but still manage to both die in a car accident?
There's no plot twist, no conflict, and no relationship building at all. just four gargoyle men who exist, have names that are so similar that I couldn't keep track of which one is which and are obbsessed with her right away. And she's totally into them right away as well, even though she didn't know supernatural creatures existed until it hurt plane touched down....
The one gargoyle who in the beginning hates her, in the blink of an eye turns around and is obsessed with her. Literally no development, they never even have a conversation!!!
I had to keep going back because I was certain I must have skipped a few chapters....
Cute idea, but missing A LOT.
whatever happened to the witch who made atlas? what managed to almost cut him in half? why did her parents go to the USA and pretend not to be witches? what supernatural being was Kennedy involved with? how did she end up inheriting the castle if really the deed is lost? why didn't we get to see her and learn anything about my magic except for a small excerpt in the epiloge?

I would’ve never thought in a million years that I would be saying that my heart has been stolen by 4 gargantuan, gorgeous, gargoyles! Marcus with his silliness, Julius with his sweetness, Darius with his seriousness, and Atlas with his bad boy stay the fuck away from me demeanor?!? I mean come on! What’s not to love?!? Obviously I’m jealous of Charlotte! Anyway, if you couldn’t tell from my love of the characters, I absolutely LOVED this book! And the spice?!?! Definitely not lacking!!! If you love why choose romance and monster romance then this is definitely the book for you! I highly recommend it!
Thank you to Flying Pig PR and Domina Easton for the gifted ARC!
Thank you Domina Easton for sending me this advanced review copy for free. I am leaving this review voluntarily.
This book was fantastic, especially if you want to read about 4 hot gargoyles with a TMNT vibe, interesting peens, and a smoking hot curvy FMC. Tons of cozy goodness and lots of spice. I'm also a fan of the explicitly asked for consent for spicy acts all through the book.
It made me want to go make my own little gargoyle nest of blankets and pillows to go hide in when the world gets to be too much.
This was a fun and spicy monster romance. I loved the supernatural aspect and how Charlotte kind of fell into it. I loved her sister, Kennedy, and Eloise and Dara. Darius, Marcus, Julius, and Atlas are great. Darius and Atlas had some baggage to work through, but they were able to overcome it. Loved it!!!
⭐️ARC REVIEW⭐️ (3.5⭐️) I enjoyed the characters and the concept of the world being thrust into the world of monsters. I mean who would be upset with being a girl in a nest of beautiful gargoyles!? But unfortunately the story and pacing felt a little off to me. I did enjoy the multi-POV and seeing scenes from various perspectives but it felt like the beginning dragged a bit for me then when the physical scenes started it felt like character development sorted slowed or halted. I am interested to read the next book and continue this series to see how it develops.

This book felt like eating air. I wanted to like it and have fun with it. The premise was interesting and had potential, but the character’s felt empty. Each of them was given one or two perosonalty traits, but that was it, there was zero depth to them. There was also no emotions attached to their relationships (being horny is not an emotion if there is nothing other than looks backing it up). There are a lot of thing that felt half done, like the development of the main character’s magic, what exactly do the gargoyles do, why did the main character saw some things that hadn't happen yet and countless others.
P.S.: I made this to fit my taste and what I look forward on a book. So this rating, it's completely subjective. I post this mostly with the intetion of keeping a record for future me an consistency throughout my ratings. Also to me a 5 is a good a enough rating... the average, I consider that my baseline if something is above that it means enjoyed it.
Charlotte is living in New York. She knows very little about where she came from or who her family is or was. So when she gets advised about a will that is leaving her an inheritance and the deed to a home. She is quick to follow the instructions set forth by the mysterious Aunt.
Upon arriving she finds herself staying as the only occupant of a large Castle... Or is she?
You see there are four gargoyles who this Castle actually belongs to, but they are currently hiding until they can be introduced properly. Charlotte knows only a little about the non-humans. So when she meets them she is a little afraid and also very curious.
Come on in and watch the relationships evolve from friendship or animosity to something more. You see the youngest gargoyle is different from the rest and he was hurt by people like Charlotte when he was younger. This causes an overall mistrust that she must work to get past.
The alpha gargoyle just wants to keep everyone safe which is his job. The middle two however, really want to get to know Charlotte.
This is a fun story of discovering your origins as well as mates and what that means for you as you grow and learn together. It definitely has its spicy moments as well as it's harder moments.
So come on in and enjoy this easy read with four large different colored gargoyles. You will find bedazzled horns and unique peens. Yes, each one is different and offers a new challenge.
Inheriting a castle in Ireland sounds like a dream, but for Charlotte it comes with four very opinionated (and extremely hot) gargoyles. What starts as a quest for self-discovery quickly becomes a full-on supernatural whirlwind, complete with a mysterious family legacy, found family vibes, and a whole lot of tension.
Each gargoyle has a distinct personality that adds depth to the dynamic: from broody Atlas to golden-retriever Marcus, the nest feels like a real (if chaotic) family. Charlotte, a curvy artist with zero experience in monster-related inheritance drama, holds her own and finds surprising strength in this strange new world.
This is a fun, fast-paced read that mixes cozy castle-core with spicy monster romance. Yes, some elements felt rushed, and I would’ve loved more backstory and emotional build-up, but the vibes were strong, the banter sharp, and the chemistry undeniable.
Perfect if you like: 🖤 Why choose 🖤 Found family 🖤 A little chaos with your cozy 🖤 Gargoyles who take their nest duties very seriously
Thanks to Flying Pig PR and Domina Easton for the opportunity to read this ARC!
Who Owns You by Domina Easton is the first book in the Monsters of Midgard series. Our FMC is Charlotte with her four male gargoyles (Atlas, Darius, Julius, and Marcus). Charlotte finds out a family member she doesn’t know about has left her a castle in Ireland and a lot of money. One of the conditions of the will is that she lives in the castle for a time.
She jumps on a plane and the world changes while she is in the air. The world finds out the monsters are real and a part of the world. Charlotte is surprised to learn that she is a witch when she gets to her castle. She is also surprised to learn that there are four gargoyles already living at the castle. Julius and Marcus fall fast and hard for Charlotte, but Atlas has a past with witches that makes him unwilling to fall for Charlotte. Darius wants to protect everyone in his nestmates.
Can Atlas see past his history to all the good things that Charlotte can bring to them?
This was a great story and I hope to read more from this world soon. Go read it now.
After a mysterious relative leaves her a whole castle in their will, Charlotte finds herself packing her life into a suitcase and moving to Ireland. Although her new reality is full of twists and turns, the four gargoyles who inhabit the castle are the biggest surprise. These reluctant castle-mates find themselves drawing closer as she can't seem to keep herself away, and the guys realize Charlotte is their destined mate.
Short, sweet, and surprisingly spicy! I loved how fish-out-of-water Charlotte was because that would be me in her situation 110%. Despite the speed bumps, she and the guys develop a bit of a routine, and I loved how Char finally finds her place in the world. The guys are interesting characters, with quirks and charms, to give them unique personalities. However, they end up a unified force for their girl. The magical and monstrous elements were a fun addition to this story. I'm always down for a unique 🍆 situation, and this was no exception, times four! The spicy scenes were well balanced but hit hard every time. This was a fun escape story!
So first off, I need to say that I absolutely adored all the characters. Charlotte's extremely relatable (A touch Mary Sue, but it's fine), the gargoyles are well developed, and Eloise and her wife, Dara, are very sweet. I found much of this to be kind of rushed. I'm assuming it's meant to be a cozy, quick read, but because of that, I wasn't able to connect with some of the storyline like I wanted to. I would have loved more background on all the gargoyles and more of Charlotte learning about her history. Well written, I do wish there were more verbiage used. Certain words and phrases (snickered is one) were used over and over again. Overall, a sweet read. Regular fans of the omega verse will enjoy.
Our FMC is Charlotte, an artist who is adopted by her best friends parents after the death of her own when she was in high-school. She receives a phone call one day letting her know the shes inherited a big Ole fortune from a family member shes never met. Whats the big catch, you ask? Well, she has to go live in the castle that was left to her as well in order to find herself. This same castle also happens to be inhabited by four very sexy and very animated Gargoyles. Our four MMCs, Atlas, Darius, Julius, and Marcus will have you in your feelings as they work through getting to know their newest castle-mate. Who Owns You is a quick read, set at a good pace, and is a very fun time. Not to mention it is seasoned with a nice amount of spice ✨️.
The story here was good, but very predictable and the pacing was slow in some parts. That made it feel like it dragged in some areas and became faster in other areas I wish we spent more time on.
The time with them in an actual relationship was short and a lot of questions were left hanging which is why I still feel like this might end up getting a book 2. I also did not like how certain things were handled in thr book itself. Like right before the big drama happened, FMC had a pre warning but she didn't share with the others. Just went on with her day.
The characters felt very copy and paste on the archetypes for each one. The stories about each character feels lacking.
This was a good book, not something I will read again or suggest but still a good read.
I’m 50/50 on whether this was written, at least in part, by AI or some sort of predictive text generator.
Too often there’s a sentence that makes no sense whatsoever in relation to what was said in the preceding sentence. If it was just one or two incidences here or there I would be willing to chalk it up to sloppy writing, but this happens so consistently I have to assume that something else going on here.
There are so many glaring issues with the text of this book that at the very least it needed a solid edit. Who Owns You was a hot mess start to finish. Nothing irritates me more than feeling like I’m reading a draft that very little thought (and even less effort) was put into.
Fun, quick read with some quality spice in the second half of the book. The gargoyles had an interesting dynamic, and the way they each interacted with Charlotte was great. Marcus gave golden retriever vibes through and through, and I loved the relationship that he and Julius had. Both Atlas and Darius were heavily influenced by events in their past, and it was interesting to see how they grew by the end of the book, and in particular, the role that Charlotte played in their change. I did finish the book with some questions about smaller plot points, but overall this was a really enjoyable read.
I really wanted to like it, but unfortunately I was disappointed by it. I felt like the chapters would jump around a bit (not because of the multiple pov) and then there felt like there was no actual relationship building. The climax of the enemies to lovers aspect from one of the MMC changed in the blink of an eye for almost no apparent reason. One minute he dislikes her and the next he’s obsessed. I also feel like we’re missing some information that was talked about. It doesn’t feel like everything was wrapped up.
This had a ton of potential. I feel like there wasn’t quite enough resolution and/or exploration of Charlotte in general, but mostly in regards to her magic. Actually, everything about the story felt a bit rushed. The plot just kind of bopped along from one thing to the next and I just had to hang on. There wasn’t a lot of relationship development, either. Especially with Atlas. It was just plopped on the table at the end. All that said, I did this was a fun monster romance and I did enjoy it overall. I just feel like there was more room to explore.
This quick read is about found family and trusting those who love you. Charlotte inherits an empty castle, but it may not be completely empty. The Gargoyles who live in it do not trust her initially, and we learn the why during the story. This book does not delve much on back story except for a few key plots. It is not really deep nor dark. It is humorous, heartfelt, and plenty spicy. If you like your fantasy dark, this book is not for you. But if you like light books to pass the time without a lot of mental engagement, this is your book. It is fun.
This is my first read from Domina and I'll definitely be reading more of their books! I absolutely loved this book and can easily see myself coming back to it as a comfort. Marcus, Julius, Atlas, Darius, and Charlotte all perfectly match each other (even if they all didn't see it at first). I loved the banter and constant flirting towards Charlotte. She can also give what's been given, whether its to put someone in their place or in other ways😉😉 Overall I thoroughly enjoyed reading and can't wait to read more!
Love-at-first sight, Mate Bonded, Monster Romance Spice: 🌶️🌶️ Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was cute, the beginning was pretty well thought out but then it rushed the entire second half. I felt like there could have been more character development of all the Gargoyles. I also feel like there are giant chunks of the story that we missed. Like Dariuses father? What happened to Atlas and the creepy smelly witch? What happened to Atlas when he ran away? Why did Altas come back all moony eyed. Also the sex felt a bit vanilla, like suuuuper classic reverse harem with minimal/no inter-nest sex.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Over all I enjoyed the book. I do wish that some parts where less rushed. I would have liked to see more of Charlotte learning about her past and her powers. I would have liked to see the relationships grow a little bit slower and have seen more on page about them getting to know each other. While the guys had known each other for a long time Char had only known them a couple of months towards the end of the book.
It was a fairly quick read. It took me less than five total hours to read.
Who Owns You? by Domina Easton was such a fun and heartfelt read! The story had the perfect mix of sweet romance, character growth, and just the right touch of spice. I absolutely adored Marcus—he stole every scene he was in, and the chemistry between the characters felt so real and satisfying. The plot was cute, easy to follow, and full of emotional moments that made me smile. If you're into romantasy with a cozy vibe and swoony connections, definitely give this one a try!
This is the first book I have read by Domina and I really enjoyed it. I thought it was a refreshing change having the female character, Charlotte who is plus sized, and had a thinner sister, with no drama or jealousy between them. I liked the guys and the romance of the plot. I wish there had been less time jumping as I kept thinking I had missed something. Overall, I loved this book and want to read Domina’s next book as well.
What would you do if you are discovered an Aunt you never knew about left you a massive inheritance…part of that is a castle 😳😳😳 then you find out that there is a nest gargoyles…they may or may not be your mates…why would they want you? They are HOTT, Strong, made of stone and you are well just an average human…. Or are you????
This was a fun, quick, unique read that I enjoyed so much! It is so worth the read. Check it out!!!!!
