She trusted him when no one else would--and risked everything to prove that he was worth it.
When I was abducted from Earth, I lost everything. But the worst part wasn’t the fear or even the trauma—it was losing Lily, my cousin and best friend. One minute, she was beside me. The next... gone. I didn’t know where they took her of if I'd ever see her again.
For weeks, I barely spoke. Barely moved. Grief swallowed me whole.
But then, I started to come out of the fog, and when I did, I heard about a woman taken by one of the flying beasts that call Laedirissae home. And I know it’s her. No one else believes she survived, but I do. And I’ll risk anything to find her.
So I do what I have to. I break a Laediriian warrior out of his prison—a male accused of betraying his own people. Vrok is quiet, brooding, and scarred by more than just battle. But he’s also strong, and the only one who can help me survive this wild world. He protects me and challenges me. And somewhere along the way, the walls between us start to fall. As we journey through a jungle full of dangers, dodging monstrous beasts and enemies, I begin to believe in him. And maybe, for the first time in my life in myself.
But when Vrok’s life is threatened by the one person he once trusted most, I’ll have to fight harder than I ever imagined. Because I didn’t just find courage on this journey. I found him. And I'm not going to let him go.
The character development in this book is one of the best I’ve ever read. The way the author walked us through Vrok’s initial preconceived notions vs reality, and the long term effects of his childhood trauma and how it shaped the way he viewed the world and his own actions was flawless. The connections the author wrote from his POV were concise, logical and so easily understandable, from a readers pov, that I was fully vested into him as a character. The MMC’s change in mindset was so smooth and organic.
The spice is 2/5. To be clear: there absolutely is spice and it’s damn good and perfectly timed. There’s a good amount of tension between them to make the scene even better.
It’s an underrated series that every alien lover needs to read!
please note this is an ARC review and the book was so kindly given to me by the author in exchange for my honest review. ❤️
This book. I had been WAITING for this book! I was dying for more lore, and it absolutely did not disappoint. Vrok the hard and serious male who never even cracks a smile, and Emily, scared out of her mind but still determined to protect what/who is most important to her. They were the perfect match and I just loved them so much. This is book 3 in the series and it dove more into the relationship between the Tussoll and Anuriix tribes and the conflict that has slowly been arising between them. I remember reading book 1 and thinking...what am I missing? Now I can say I've become fully invested in the world and what comes next for everyone. This book was full of adventure and drama, with a splash of tender moments and spice. It was fantastic. I won't give anything else away but if you're a fan of sci fi romance with action, adventure, drama and a rather grumpy male lead, then you'd love this book.
Loved this one! The predicament the MCs found themselves in was a great set up for a reluctant and grumpy romance where the characters are forcing the proximity. The story had some good intrigue and adventure as the MCs search the jungle and get tangled in some treacherous conspiracies with other tribes. I can't wait to see what happens next.
I couldn't WAIT to dive back into the world of Laedirissae! I've been hooked since Book 1 watching these shipwrecked women find their place on this alien planet. The journey has been phenomenal and this book made it even more so!
Vrok and Emily had more in common than they realized, and I just wanted to give them both the biggest hug. They come from dark pasts, where everything was decided for them. This leads to the both of them discovering about each other's inner strength as they go on the most daring mission yet to save Emily's cousin Lily.
I related a lot to the both of them, and found comfort in how they decided to support each other through being vulnerable. Emily was the rock Vrok didn't know he needed, and Vrok found a safe space he never thought would be possible to find. I was uplifted by their commitment to being there for each other, their will to survive, and the bond that gets them through it.
Absolutely a must read!!

This is the 6th book in the series and I didn't have a chance to read the first 5 books in the interconnected series.
This book follows the FMC (Emily) and the MMC (Vrok) and their story. Vrok is a misunderstood alien who wanted to live his life as a warrior, but because of a decision made by his father, he is outcasted by his tribe. Emily crash landed on a planet looking for her cousin, Lily, who was on the same spaceship. Lily wasn't brought to the tribe along with the other humans and ultimately Emily leaves the safety of the village in an effort to find her only family left. Both Vrok and Emily are circumstances of their upbringings, but Vrok especially struggles to find his value.

This story was well-written. I often find with non-human worlds in books understanding the names, places and animals confusing. Trying to remember what certain terms mean can be tricky, but I found I didn't struggle with this book. I enjoyed the book and will definitely read other stories in the series.
Emily and her cousin, Lily, were snatched up by aliens and separated, so Emily wasn’t sure where Lily was taken, or even if she was still alive. But she had to find her if she could. What she needs is one of the Laediriian aliens to help her. Since Vrok has been arrested as a traitor, Emily broke him out of jail to search with her. There is much danger the two need to confront and his strength will help her survive. Will their time together draw the two of them closer to each other? Will they find Lily? And is Emily willing to fight for her alien if he needs her?
I really enjoyed this book, and even though it’s the third in a series, I was able to jump right in and understand what was going on. The author does a really good job of naturally explaining the worldbuilding even for those with no prior knowledge of it. I also really loved the character development, especially of the MMC. It felt very natural and realistic. The romance plot flowed beautifully and didn’t feel forced at all. Looking forward to the next book!

Compelling and courageous Well-written, insightful, and captivating story-telling tackling a courageous topic that affects so many. This couple is a compelling combination of vulnerability, strength, and self-awakening (from an unexpected source). While this is book 3 of an enjoyable series, you can read this as a standalone, as there are enough backstory references to follow along, however I’d recommend reading the series. Excellent world building, engaging characters, and told from a dual POV. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving this review.
Aw man, I'm a sucker for Aliens I just can't help it. this was a super great, fast, easy read. It very much reminds me of IPB and I'm not at all mad about that - because I simply cannot have enough alien boyfriends.
now I must scramble to find the first and second so I can give the series the attention it absolutely deserves!

I loved this one. Tough, abusive childhoods transcend across the universe. Two beings fated for each other have a wonderfully intense journey together full of adventure, danger, spice, and love.
This was the best so far in the series. This book tells Vrok and Emily’s story and I think it does it well.
The stupid and other editing errors are much better in this book compared to the first, so I’m glad the author has found a way to work through that. I felt this story was much more engaging than the last one, so I’m happy I went ahead with reading it. I did feel that Emily’s story and backstory lack refinement. It often felt like the author just threw in something new whenever she needs Emily to relate to a situation. I think the opening chapter where we see a snippet of Emily’s childhood on earth could have had just a little more backstory and it really could have ironed out these issues.
I am ready for a couple to get together while in the village though because so far, all 3 books, have had the couple off by themselves in the wild.
My excitement is an at all time high for this book, and who doesn't like a hot alien man to obsess over? Exactly! Also, what a beautiful book cover?! Let us all admire it in unison! Wow... Anyways. Thank you so much for the opportunity, Michelle Nova. This is officially my first Sci-fi Alien Romance, and I'm so pleased I branched out of my usual Dark Romance. Grab your popcorn because this is a hell of a ride. I'll keep it spoiler free, and you can grab your very own version on Kindle on 24h June! I've been doing Arcs back-to-back, so watch out for more, hehe. By the way, this is book three in this series.
Emily is just the sweetest FMC. She cares for Vrok and, without even trying, manages to break through his tough exterior. Her character growth is so heartwarming, and it makes me sad for what her younger self had to go through, all the trauma and darkness of her past, but she never lets it define her. That's what is so admirable about her really, she fights through the hard times and for those whom she loves, never giving up on them, and in turn holds herself to a high standard that just makes one want to emulate, to improve oneself. She's easily one of my favourite FMCs ever. When she loves, she loves with her whole soul. Navigating an Alien world is scary enough, but I like how she pushes herself to always do the right thing, even if it's a terrifying journey.
Vrok is a stone cold, brooding, seven foot tall Alien covered with armoury! Oh my Lordt. GIVE ME HIM! From the moment of his introduction, I'm enthralled. He owns this silent, dark aura around him that just invites intrigue and curiosity! He's only been familiar with cold shoulders and suspicion from his own Anuriix tribe, so when a human girl he hates, or so he thinks, manages to touch places within him no other person has been able to even reach, he doesn't even know what he is feeling at first. A, so the way his character is layer by layer broken down gradually so we can understand why he is the way he is breaks my heart because of his own trauma. And the worst part? He doesn't even know what's happening to him because it's so normalised for him, until Emily explains otherwise. The way they come together is honestly beautiful as a couple. I love how protective he is of Emily. He's truly a perfect mate for her!
To me, this book is rather slow-burn in comparison to the usual books I'm reading, which I love. It's a refreshing change! It's full of adventure, danger, and drama where two tribes Tussoll and Anuriix are fighting for the upper hand. There are heart-pounding moments, tender and vulnerable moments, action-packed scenes and betrayal, healing from traumatic pasts, and there are amazing spicy moments that just make me blush. The world is very well built, and I could imagine everything happening in my mind's eye. The pacing is perfect and doesn't drag at all. Every second means something and keeps your attention! He's a grumpy MMC with a heart of gold, and she's a ray of sunshine with comebacks on standby. Perfection. This was absolutely beautifully written, so captivating. I want to read the first two asap.
Tempted by the Alien Warrior is definitely suspenseful and a page turning alien romance story. The story is captivating form beginning to end, entertaining and an absolute pleasure to read. Tempted by the Alien Warrior is fantastically written, amazingly balanced and beautifully executed by Michelle Nova. This is the first novel I’ve read by this author and was blown away by the storyline. This novel has a fantastic plot, outstanding characters and an ending that took my breath away. Tempted by the Alien Warrior follows the story of Emily and Vrok. The chemistry between these two incredible characters is absolutely breathtaking and undeniably irresistible. I loved getting to know both Emily and Vrok as well as seeing their feelings for each other grow stronger as their story progresses forward through the pages of this fantastic alien romance novel. I do love that they have a happy ending to their story with them being happy together as a true couple. I love that Emily and Vrok eventually learn that they are worthy of love and being loved. When Emily and Vrok are learning to believe they’re worthy of love, it home for me on a personal level. I felt that I could relate quite well to both Emily and Vrok when they’re thinking that they’re not worthy of being loved because I myself have felt that way. Tempted by the Alien Warrior is absolutely an alien romance novel that would be given as a recommendation for anyone to checkout and give it a read.

'She doesn’t feel like a burden. Or dangerous. Every time she speaks, every time she shows me who she really is cracks form in the foundation I’ve been standing on. And I don’t know what scares me more: that she might prove my father wrong or that I want her to.'
I really enjoyed this book. It was a fun, fast-paced adventure. Great world building and wonderful characters. I loved both Emily and Vrok and I liked the way their relationship developed. It was a slow burn, and despite his grumpiness and her stubbornness, they found they actually have things in common and perhaps first impressions aren't always right. I enjoyed them getting to know each other. The scene where she first sees him nude and tries not to look, and he's just confused why he wouldn't be nude while bathing was one of my favorite scenes and made me laugh.
“Warned you?” he repeats, genuinely confused. “Why?” I peek through my fingers despite myself. Because apparently, I have no self-control. His body is ripped and scarred and so blatantly, breathtakingly male that it’s almost offensive. “I don’t know, maybe because you’re standing there with everything hanging out, and some of us weren’t mentally prepared to get hit with the full Laediriian experience?” 'His brow furrows... Because of course he doesn’t care. He’s just casually existing in the water while I’m over here trying not to stare and failing miserably.'
I am absolutely in love with this book. Now that I know it's a bloody series I'm gonna be reading the others. Cause let me tell u Michelle Nova is an amazing alien smut author. She truly knocked my socks off. The relationship between Emily and Vrok it's just wow. The way Vrok was so laid down with childhood trauma, and the things of his past he was just hardened. He never cracked a smile and to me felt like you never really seen the good in anybody until Emily came along. Then you have Emily who is scared out of her mind but so strong and independent and fiercely loves and protects those she considers family and friends. I love having this birthday just work together and they have their ups and downs but still Find so much in each other. I was just blown away by this book and I'm so excited to read the rest of this series. I feel like the series really needs you to be blown up and be recognized everywhere.
He was her only shot at survival. She became the reason he chose to live.
After being abducted from Earth and stranded on an alien planet, Emily (h) has one goal, find her missing cousin, Lily. When everyone else gives up, she takes a risk on the one male no one trusts. Vrok (H), a disgraced warrior haunted by his father’s betrayal, wants nothing to do with humans... until her.
What begins as a desperate jungle rescue mission turns into something neither expected. She challenges his beliefs. He protects her without question. Their bond deepens through fear, survival, and a tenderness Vrok never believed he had left.
But salvation isn’t free. Enemies rise. Truths surface. When war comes knocking, Vrok must step out from his father’s shadow and choose what kind of male he wants to be. Emily has to fight for her family, her heart, and the love she never saw coming.
Emily grows from a grieving survivor into a fierce force driven by love and instinct. Vrok sheds his armor of silence and guilt to become a warrior not just with strength, but with purpose. Their connection shifts from reluctant alliance to soul-deep devotion, forged through trust and raw honesty.
A steamy alien-human, grumpy sunshine, fated mates, sci-fi action romance packed with jungle survival, emotional healing, loyalty, betrayal, and a love that refuses to break.
Great story among this wonderful series. Emily and Lilly, her cousin grew up together. Lilly was the daredevil always daring Emily her reserve cousin to try things. Then they get abducted by aliens, separated, and then crash onto the planet. The group Emily was hanging with gets rescued by the Laedirissae tribe. The Laedirissae tribe hunts looking for more women who's crashed and finds another group. Lilly was one but was taken by a flying alien. Emily breaks Vrok out of jail who's been accused of betraying the Laedirissae tribe. Together they search for her cousin, Lilly. What occurs is an engaging story that captivated me as the reserve Emily grows bold and strong and Vrok discovers Emily is his amoris, spirit mate. Do they find Lilly? Loved the characters, the storyline, the romance, and the drama in this copy I'd received and volunteer to read and review.
Being human is seen as a wealness on this planet. I loved her determination to be strong no matter what. She has to prove to herself and to him she cane do it and that she is "fine". This is not an instant love and it was almost a no love. He was trying to live up to standards his father had put on him. But along the way realized his father was not a good man. I liked their honest conversations with each other. She gave him unconditional friendship that he needed to become himself. This book was mostly just the two of them on the journey to find her sister. But it was also a journey of finding themselves as well. You saw when the change happened and it clicked. This read was so good. It is best to read previous books to fully understand the whole story.

This was a fab addition to the series and I loved seeing the character growth in Emily and Vrok. She's scared but determined to find her cousin, Lily. He's dealing with the betrayal of his father and wants nothing to do with humans. However, working together, surviving dangers, well, this grump finds himself a lot more interested in this human than he expected ;P This is a well written and clearly detailed story that features a fab grumpy/sunshine romance. There's a ton of action, healing, loyalty and engaging characters that kept me glued to my reader. I also love that we got dual POVs that gave us fab insight to both Vrok and Emily's inner thoughts. So well done!
He’s been raised to see himself as the most important man in the room. She was raised to be seen but not heard. How can these two ways be so similar?

We dive deeper into Vrok’s story and find out why Emily is so distant from the rest of the women. Emily whole heartedly believes Lily is still alive. She needs to find her. She sets. Room free from his troubles and the adventure begins. Can they save each other from the turmoil of their past, the troubles of their present, and lead each other into a fruitful future.
I really enjoyed Tempted by the Alien Warrior. The author did an amazing job with world-building and I love it. The political drama is so good, too. I really loved how Emily and Vrok had so much depth to them and so much pain to overcome. They really had to fight to realize they were worth more than they believed.
There were a lot of overused phrases that I kept getting hung up on, and some of the book was repetitive, but I still enjoyed it! I’m looking forward to the next book.
Thank you, Michelle Nova, for an ARC of this book. I’m sorry I’m so late getting my reading and review done! This review is my own and is left voluntarily.
So far this has been my favorite book in the Spirit Mates of the Laediriian Exiles series so far! Tempted by the Alien Warrior is a true redemption arc for Vrok the gloomy and serious Alien warrior and Emily the loyal and courageous human with emotional wounds that run deep. Together they find a little piece of each themselves in the other. The book had me rooting for the main characters at every step of the way as they overcome physical, mental and emotional obstacles along the way on their quest to find Emily's missing cousin. HEA, spicey, nicely paced and a super fun read!
This Book 3 in The Spirit Mates of the Laediriian Exiles Book Series has an entertaining Sci-Fi Romance Story, a well-constructed world and interesting characters. These characters have unique personalities, complicated histories, and believable interactions. This story has a Woman who was abducted with her cousin by Aliens & then crashed landed on a planet, separated from her cousin, rumor of a woman taken by a flying Alien, breaking an Alien out of jail to find her cousin, accused of treason, trust, danger, action, adventure, twists, turns, a growing connection, fated mate and love.
Emily and Vrok Emily is broken, She is on an alien planet, far from home with ONLY her cousin that was Taken with her, but then She is also Taken from Emily and She just breaks. When She hears off a human in another alien settlement She wants to go there right away but She knows She wont survive the jungle Alone, so She breaks out an alien convict. How I loved how they relationship evolved, from mutual benefit to total devotion earned from need and afection. They grow so much and became the better version if themselfs while escaping enemies and traitors. Amazing book.
The romance was steamy and emotional, and I really liked how the connection between the characters felt both intense and genuine. The world-building was vivid without being overwhelming, and the alien hero totally stole my heart. It had just the right mix of action, passion, and tenderness. If you love protective warriors and fated love with a sci-fi twist, this book delivers. 💜✨

I like this series. Humans crash on an unknown planet, have to learn Bout the natives, and are dragged into a planet-wide battle. The details of what the planet looks like, the creatures, and the aliens are vivid and easy to picture. This story covers the idea of being worthy and hiding insecurities under a tough shield. Romance and amoris keep the hope alive.

I love this story for its "more than romance" vibe. The connection between Vrok and Emily is intense but their support and respect for one another is inspirational. All of the characters in this vibrant world are complex and engaging.

This is a new to me author and I was sooo impressed and enjoyed every moment of this book. I am now going to have to go and read the first two. Nothing better than a grumpy scarred warrior who meets his match in a woman who is determined and brave. I loved every moment of this book of these two characters getting to know one another. You won't be disappointed!!
