The Might of Dialogue

The power of the dialogue as a form of expressing thought is long known. Did Plato not immortalize Socrates, and others, in his The Republic by exactly this form?
A good dialogue will show different points of view. It will face the reader with many, if not all the conundrums they themselves may imagine.

Sabina Nore's Weird Genius: The Story of Your Ankh does exactly that.

Taking the reader towards an unknown destination, not following any one nor few topics, it is unpredictable, and remains delightfully wayward until the very end!

With the opening question, “Do you know why you are here?” , we embark on a journey of discovering far more than the intricacies of the dialogue. Not that more would be needed. The dialogue in itself is remarkably fresh and would suffice to be crowned an excellent read! And yet, here, it is merely a small aspect of the experience.
Weird Genius does not explore topics, it unravels them. This is not a book of boisterous rhetoric nor flowery poetry. It is more akin to a lightning strike, stretched across a few hundred pages.

It delves into the deepest and the highest ranges of the experiential spectrum, exploring nothing less than the customary world view, while challenging the unquestionable, we are reminded of the frailty of all beliefs and constructs.

A book that creates a space for a genuine discovery of “the impossible.”

.“This book is a deadly weapon.” - That was said about Sabina Nore's Weird Genius and, if the pen is indeed mightier than the sword, I had to know what made this read “a deadly weapon.”
Now, I am compelled to write some words. A few, at least, though I actually want to say only two: READ THIS.
From someone who enjoys a good book but usually does not review any: Read it now, and read it many times.
I know I will.

It is impossible to grasp all that is within it in one reading, even though it is well-written and perfectly clear. It neither tries to be mysterious nor does it hint at anything, but the sheer quantity of ideas and depth of information on these pages compel me, at least, to read it again.

Weird Genius by Sabina Nore unravels the universe before your eyes, opening up previously unknown (dormant?) aspects of the self.

It is a profound experience.

This review refers to the Trailblazer edition of Weird Genius: The Story of Your Ankh, which I got straight from the publisher (Maginario).
