In that moment, his anger faded, replaced by a strong urge to protect Hellena Bernoulli. And so begins their tragic story.
Victor, known for his ruthless nature, finds himself kneeling before a simple girl—the daughter of his enemy—who somehow touches his heart.
Well, what can I say? This reads like a really bad wattpad fanfiction (good thing is my teenage self started on wattpad so I can somewhat appreciate that; thus 2 stars instead of one).
- The plot is all over the place (I'm actually amazed how many tropes were fit into one book haha) - The characters have absolutely no depth - The writing is just really not great
All in all I could go on and on but I don't have the patience to write a longer review. I just skimmed the last 20% because the book was going nowhere. If you don't like to rage read, this one is not for you (I'm honestly a bit mad that I paid money for this).
