BRIAR BOLEYN is the author of more than twenty-five romance books and novellas. Her novels have become New York Times, USA Today, Sunday Times and Spiegel bestsellers and have been sold in over a dozen countries. As a child, she endlessly scribbled stories in every genre, from murder mysteries to time travel romances to dystopian sci-fi. Briar lives with her family in Manitoba, Canada. When not raising fictional dragons from the dead, Briar enjoys reading all types of sci-fi and fantasy, cultivating an unhealthy Disney World obsession, and playing RPG video games. She also writes under the name Fenna Edgewood.
Loved!! Great stories, but my favorite was Morgan's tale!
If you have been reading Briar Boleyn's "Blood of a Fae" series and the "Bloodwing Academy" series, this is an extended epilogue that will tie both worlds together.
This story takes place two years after "Knight of the Goddess" ended. Morgan is now the Queen of Camelot ruling with Draven, while her brother, Kaye, is enjoying being a kid for the first time. She agreed to rule for 13 years, Kaye will be almost 30 years old when he takes the throne. Then Morgan will return as Empress and rule the Fae.
Life has moved on in both Camelot and Myntra. Children are being born to the Fae for the first time in centuries now that Morgan's father is dead. Draven and Morgan are now parents themselves to a set of adorable twins, a boy and a girl. Both have inherited strong powers from their parents. But Draven still worries that he won't be able to save them, like he failed Medra.
When Morgan and Draven leave the twins for the first time for a night alone, Orcades, Morgan's sister, uses the portal to reach out to them. She tells Morgan that Medra is alive and in trouble. She tells her that she saved Medra, who now lives in a realm full of vampires and is bonded to a prince.
When Morgan returns home and tells everyone the news, they are both shocked and thrilled. But getting to her realm won't be easy.
I can't wait for the 3rd book in the "Bloodwing Academy" series. Unfortunately, it won't be out until next March. :(

I read From Blood to Blossoms in this Anthology and it was a really nice way to kind of Bridge Briar Boleyn’s two interconnecting series involving Medra Pendragon. Briar considered this as a long epilogue to the Blood of a Fae series, and I agree that it was great to catch up with the characters from that series after reading the first two books of Bloodwing Academy.
We see Morgan and Draven happy, with twins (one of each gender), and busy as monarchs of their respective kingdom. We learn the fates of Lancelet, Guinevere, Galahad, Crescent, Lyrastra, and our beloved exmoors (Sunstrike and Nightpaw).
I enjoyed reading this novella and reconnecting with these beloved characters from Blood of a Fae and Bloodwing Academy, and am excited for her third Bloodwing Academy book to release!
I haven't read all of the stories, but I will update my review as I have completed them.
Briar Boleyn: From Blood to Blossoms- 5 stars I loved this novella that bridges the Blood of a Fae series and the Bloodwing Academy series! It answers so many questions I had as to what was happening back in Camelot while Medra is off in her other world!
M A Brown: Under the Loam- 4 stars This was a fun little novella! I love Megan's writing. It's always so visual and has the most intriguing characters!
This was the perfect pick me up while waiting for Book #3 of The Bloodwing Academy to come out next month. This novella chronicles what happens between the end of Knight of the Goddess and where we leave off in The Bonds that Burn. The novella teases at what might happen to Medra next as well as Morgan and Draven. We also got to learn a little more about Orcades. Definitely worth the read, but be warned there are spoilers so make sure you're caught up before checking this out.

I read just From Blood to Blossoms, the bridging novella between Blood of a Fae and Bloodwing Academy series, so far and loved it! I loved seeing how these characters may end up back together. It was so fun to see the Blood of a Fae crew again! I loved reading about all their updates and endings. I cannot wait to see what's next!
I think this anthology as a whole though is so great! I cannot wait to read more of these stories.
Haven't read all the stories, just From blood to blossoms by Briar Boleyn. It's a bridging novella after Blood of a fae series and Bloodwing academy 1&2. I had no idea how those worlds could be connected, but man, it was done so well! It's only 100 pages, but got some good info for the continuation of the bloodwing series. Absolutely recommend to read it!
I read From Blood to Blossoms, the first in the novellas, and it was fantastic! It was so fun to see Morgan and Draven again. I really loved the tie in this have to Bloodwing Academy and Medra. It always bothered me that things were left rather open ended with Medra and her last world, so this gave a bit of explanation and provided a great bridge between the two series.
I didn’t read the entire book, just “From blood to Blossoms”, and it was an amazing bridge that connected “Blood of a Fae” with “Bloodwing Academy”, and now I’m totally expecting a crossover in “With Hearts of Flame” 😍 I can’t wait!!!
Read From Blood to Blossoms: I see why this was important to read. Things are going to be a lot more connected soon. I did love seeing Morgan and Draven again. It was sweet seeing where they are a few years after the events of the last book. Now I’m looking forward to Bloodwing Academy book 4.
🌟 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄: This book was a beautiful book. The stories here are great additions to my collections and I was so glad that I received this book. If you are unsure of getting it, you won't regret it. It’s filled with a variety of different stories that I think are fit for everyone plus it’s a great pallet cleanser when you are in a slump.
