I always played by the rules, but Asher King made me break every one.
Ellie
For just one night, I didn’t want to be the good girl—I wanted him. And for a moment, we had each other, body and soul, even if it was in secret.

But bad boys like Asher King don’t end up with the preacher’s daughter.

I thought I could erase him from my life and wipe away the ache he left behind.

Until I find out he left me with more than a broken heart.

Now I'm a senior in high school, practically disowned by my pastor father, and pregnant with a gang member's baby.

Asher
It meant nothing to me. We’re done.

Looking Ellie in the eye and saying that was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. Being with her gave me hope I haven’t felt since I was a kid.

But I belong to the Red Snakes. They’re my family. And hope isn’t a thing here.

It’s a world Ellie Jones doesn’t belong anywhere near, and if I have to break her heart to keep her safe, I’ll do it.

In this sensual, forbidden love story, Ellie and Asher must overcome their families and threats of violence for the sake of a fresh start—and the HEA they both deserve.

If you are looking for a quick read, this is the book for you. It falls between an adolescence romance and erotica. The main characters, Asher King and Ellie Jones are seniors in high school and total opposites. Asher is the school bad boy and part of the Red Snakes gang. Ellie is the pastors daughter. Neither had anything to do with the other until one night when they both attend the same party.
While the characters are in high school, I would not recommend this book for anyone younger than 17 due to the graphic descriptions of love scenes.
