Risking It All For A Jamaican BullyShe spent her whole life following the rules… until he made her want to break every last one.
Falcon McCormick was raised to be a good girl. The obedient daughter. The perfect wife. The woman who never questions, never strays, and never disappoints. She spent years living for them—her strict parents, her unfulfilling marriage, her picture-perfect image.
But what about her?
Marriage was supposed to bring love, happiness, and babies. Instead, it left her feeling trapped, unheard, unseen. She did everything right—and still ended up wrong.
Then she meets Jayce “Ox” Lennox.
One chance encounter. One moment on a crowded train. One look into the eyes of a man who moves like he owns the world and everyone in it.
He’s raw. Unapologetic. Jamaican-born with a presence too powerful to ignore. Everything about him should have sent Falcon running in the opposite direction.
But he doesn’t let her.
Ox doesn’t ask—he takes. And before she knows it, he’s dragging her into a world where pleasure and danger walk hand in hand.He forces her to confront the truth she’s spent a lifetime avoiding.
Does she keep living the lie? Or does she finally risk it all… for a man who refuses to let her hide?
If you love powerful Alpha men, dangerous desire, and heroines who discover their strength through love,Risking It All For A Jamaican Bully will pull you into a romance so intoxicating, so explosive, it will leave you breathless.
Some rules were meant to be broken. Some risks were meant to be taken. And some men were born to ruin you—in the best way possible.
My biggest gripe is that this book isn't labeled as a series. It appears as a standalone and it isn't. The book ends on a cliffy and the story is serial. I personally hate not knowing that. I would have saved the read until the series was done.
Book:
Very fast-paced, and usually, I dislike all the side characters getting equal footing/billing as the main love interests because it takes away from the main romance, but here, I was only mildly annoyed. I didn't hate the side characters, but I definitely feel the brother's story should have been an entirely separate book. I stand by that fact. Here, our sexy kind of obsessive Jamaican becomes smitten with his train wife. She notices the rude boy and is taken in by his sex appeal and boy is he commanding and hot hot hot. The crime mentioned on page 1 and in the background of the book is incredibly easy to figure out plus the big reveal by the end is also painstakingly obvi but the author's writing style is sprite and fun. It's a fast-paced story moving quickly through each story point. Here's to hoping the Jamaican Bully gets more unhinged in Book 2. In this one, he was a little OTT but yet subdued. You could see the beginnings of obsessive but not quite where I was hoping it would go.
I knew it!!!! When Parker said Alabama told him her boyfriend was mad and close to being violent, trying to place blame on the boyfriend I knew something was fishy. Why would Alabama tell Parker that and not Falcon? I like Jayce and his brothers. I wish Grillz would cool it a little. He's to hot headed. I wonder what kind of pills were in her cabnet. I can think of three I wouldn't want to see. Hormone, STD (curable or not) and mental disorders. Is Jayce an undercover agent? I can't wait to see how the rest of this plays out.😍😍
This book was a lot of restating I mean a lot. I couldn’t stand Jah from the beginning his character was annoying like is he a dead beat or not, is the baby mom good or not. It’s like the both of their characters weren’t completed. I loved Jayce he was my favorite character. Falcon is not the worst but she is a pushover and her bestie doesn’t seem like that good of a friend. The overall plot is completely predictable but for the most part I enjoyed the story.
Great Read!! Started off a little slow for me, but it was a great read. Ox, I love me some him. I knew from the beginning that Peter Parker had something to do with Alabama's unaliving. Grillz is getting on my nerves. It's something looney about Misty. Every girl needs a Camryn, she knew what place to say to follow along with the lie, LOL! Now that ending got my mouth wide open.
This was a real interesting story. I felt like Parker had a lot more going on than he was letting on. The more I read I felt like he killed his neighbor's daughter. He was giving off bad vibes. I hope in the next book Falcon and Jace GRT together.
this has potential to be 5 stars if it wasn’t left on a cliffhanger and it was stated that it would be a series. also im ngl i could do without jahmir’s pov because i don’t really see the point of adding it in there. other than that im pretty sure this story just awakened a newfound attraction to jamaican men in me bc i love jayce
I whole heartedly enjoyed this book!!! I can’t wait for the continuation. I would have never guessed that ending. I had an idea that Parker was involved but whewww I didn’t expect it to unfold like this!! Ms. Candy please don’t make us wait too long!!
This book was so good. The plot twist was crazy. This book definitely keeps you on your toes that’s for sure. I was right about my theory. Part 2 about to be fire! I so can’t wait!
What a freaking roller coaster! I cannot believe the turn of events. Please Candy, don’t make me wait too long. I need the next part. I knew Parker was trouble. I just knew. Omg.
Living to others standards will never be easy and focusing on rather or not they’re happy instead of yourself will lead to misery. Live your life as you want to please yourself for your the only person that matters.
A page turnerrrrr! Jayce is the GOATTT! I want more of him and Falcon!!can we get just get them please? Is she pregnant? I had a feeling Parker killed the neighbor. Did he really have a low sec drive because I don’t believe that!!
I kinda figured he killed her. That was obvious after she talked to her ex-boyfriend. Now, Mr. Special Ops cop what did he know before she got hooked on her. So many questions that need answers.
Falcon's and Jayce's story had me in my romantic feels. Their chemistry was out of this world and kept me hooked to the book till the end. This is my first time reading Candy's book but I will be sure to come back for more!
Ooooooooooooo no ma’am press ham…..why you leave us hanging like this???!!! Auntie needs the second book like ASAP! I love me some Jayce! Now this was definitely a cliff hanger….
Very intriguing book. Most certainly a page turner. Suspenseful. A tad bit freaky with a lot of twists and wondering moments. The writer gives you just enough information and suspense to make your mind wonder “what could possibly happen next“ Great book
No way this book ended like this. Mind you I have my suspicions that Parker dirty butt ass killed that girl. Imma need a part 2 on my good sis Falcon and Ox. Because why tf would it end without them getting together?

This is too good!! I knew he was up to something, low sex drive my ass. Falcon and ox are the perfect chaos. Cannot wait for the next installment.. throughly enjoyed myself.
OMG I knew something was up with Parker because of the diagnosis and profession. Meeting Jayce was the best thing that happened to Falcon. Even though it was only supposed to be a one time thing it turned into an affair. Jamir I feel like is in danger dealing with that bipolar chick he met and I know she’s going to turn his life upside down. I can’t wait for part 2. 🔥🔥🔥
