I sometimes find myself lost in my own mind; a world very similar to our own yet so different. Things don't go bump in the night—they squeal, and crawl under your skin, making you grind your teeth, and your stomach turn over and put your nerves on edge. Then there's the drama. Oh, the drama!
I write because I must! There is so much inside of me that needs to get out. So many stories to tell, characters that want to be heard, and hearts lost and won. Words and art are my way of bringing my world to others. I enjoy telling tales of the human condition but working in elements of the supernatural. Werewolves, Vampires, Zombies, Witches and the unexplainable all set against the human world or worlds of their own.
I was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, grew up in a working class family and enjoy writing, cooking and spending my husband's money! Yeah I’m a cocky little brat too :) (and proud of it, spankings included.)

I kind of knew what to expect when I started reading this one. I loved the first book but there is dirty and there is DIRTY and who knew I would love both! Just to outline major points: this is not BDSM per se it's more of a case of serious Daddy kink (no pain involved except for punishment once), it ends on a major cliffhanger but since the next book is already out this shouldn't be a problem, the language of the book is extremely coarse and at times vulgar but I think that was to show exactly who Hades is, the kinkiest book I've read to date and some might consider things gross, so beware.
Believe it or not, I loved Daddy Hades. Throughout the book he tried to make me see him as a monster. Sure he has done bad things, terrible things but all that drove him was his family - to love them, to cherish them, to protect them. He is loyal, strong, raw and powerful but underneath it all is a man with a heart of gold - you do not cross Daddy Hades EVER. You either take him or leave him, he is who he is - unapologetic and violent.
Rex is a gentle soul with a heart of a warrior. He loved one monster and lost him, and now he has a chance to love again and he will stop at nothing to show Hades his love and devotion. Those two are so perfect for each other - hard and soft, rough and gentle, passionate and loving. They had it all.
As a promise of more Kemono was left slightly in the shadows. He is there alright. He is just biding his time and it will be explosive when he comes back to Rex's life. I think he is almost the same as Hades, so it will be very interesting to see the dynamics between them and Rex.
This book is filled with dirty and rough sex, plenty of kink, violence and death, love and devotion, intrigue and power play, and two characters full of angst and passion to share. I loved it! I highly recommend it!

Hades ha pasado unos anos en la carcel por la traicion de un hermano, pero ahora ya afuera buscara vengarse de aquellos que lo metieron ahi, pero primero quiere volver a su casa, descansar, recuperarse y planear como vengarse. Lo que no espera es que cuando llega a su casa se consigue un joven desnudo durmiendo en su cama como si fuera suya, pero lo peor de todo es que con todo el tiempo que ha pasado sin sexo, su control es casi inexistente y tiene que luchar consigo mismo para no hacer algo que lamentara despues. Y ahora un tiempo despues, sabe que no solo fue su escases de sexo lo que lo atrajo del joven, lo que siente por el es algo mas grande, proteccion, lujuria, amor, sabe que haria lo que fuera por el, si solo el joven lo dejara.
En este libro vemos la historia de Hades y conocemos un poco mas del mundo del crimen en este universo, tambien conocemos la historia de Rex y aprendemos un poco mas de algunos de los otros personajes, como Viper, Windigo y Komono. El problema es que la historia es demasiado larga, la primera mitad es demasiado detallada, demasiadas descripciones de lo que "pudiera ser" o "querian que fuera", para avanzar tanto en la segunda mitad que dejan gran parte de la relacion de los protas afuera.
Me intrigo saber del ruso que quiere ser "bueno" y su relacion con su novio, es como si ya hubieran contado esa historia en otro libro y el autor hubiera querido darnos una pista de lo que paso despues, el problema es que se siente desconectado de la historia principal, y te hace perder de vista la pareja principal. Tambien el tema de que los protas hacen cosas y despues explica que fue por que recibio una llamada o reconocio una marca, cuando al comienzo el autor nos detalla todo, absolutamente todo lo que ven, oyen o sientes sus protas, entonces cuando hacen algo asi y despues lo "explica" quedamos desconectados de nuevo.
En fin, no es una mala historia, pero siento que fue sobre-editada en algunas partes y sub-editada en otras, pero como todavia quiero saber que va a pasar con ellos voy a leer el proximo libro para cerrar esta serie.

REVIEW @Scattered Thoughts and Rogue Words
Let’s start this review saying I loved the book a lot and when I finished reading it, I hated the author a lot. As an after thought I should have seen it coming but in my defence I was so enrolled in the story, I was blind to little details I should have been more careful with. Nonetheless in the following days when I was finally able to let the anger go, I realized that maybe it was the right choice and it is one of my favorite books I’ve read lately.
I’m honestly not sure what to write in this review because I don’t want to spoil the story. If you’re a fan of Wulf’s work, you know he is very good at surprising us with unexpected characters and developments, so just two words, be ready. I wasn’t.
Of Gods and Monsters: Hades is a story about betrayal, about second chances at love, enemies to lovers, about a monster with a cold heart that can maybe still beat for someone. It’s about a beautiful young man and the need to be human again. It’s the story of three lives, interwoven in times and fate.
The story of Hades takes place four years after Menoetius. In these four years, Hades has found and let go of who could have been the love of his life, he was betrayed by a brother and forced to live in a prison fighting ring.
Four years has passed from the day Rex has left Japan and the place that was his home and life for twelve years, where he kissed Kemono, the young man he watched become a cold hearted killer. The day he was escorted to the airport and put on a plane to the States. With his cat, Bacon, he’s now living under the Dragon’s Tongue “care”, a powerful criminal organization.
And four years ago, Kemono has killed the one who kept him away from Rex and turned him into a monster, the new dragon.
After four year spent in hell, Hades comes back to his apartment and find it occupied by a little ginger, Rex. And of course he needs to scare the young man to death. First impressions matter.
There is a lot going on this book, there are quite some second characters to keep track of, but it’s never chaotic because every new event, every new person is welcomed and fully explained.
The characters in this story are not easy, all of them have really heavy baggages on their shoulders (no one excluded), all of them are fucked up in different ways. I love knowing there are more books planned and that I’m going to meet them again and follow them in their journey to the love land. Cause they are all getting their HEA.
The story is a continuous story of messy, hard scenes. Not for everyone. It’s on the line of Menoetius but different and in my opinion so much better.
There are some things I’m very strict about in my MM books and they are often have been a deal breaker to me, this second installment has a couple of them, but I didn’t care. As I already said, the story took me completely, I couldn’t put it down for a moment. My opinion on the author is the same, he’s amazingly talented.
I can’t wait for the next one. I want to know more about Richard (and James I hope), but it seems that Monroe, a NYPD chief, has just fallen in love with someone.

Such a dirty book! and I fucking loved it!! Hades mouth is pure filth!
Plus there's Daddy Kink and Age-Play, not enough of those books around, in my opinion!
Hades and Rex were gorgeous together, I loved them as a couple and can't wait to read more of them!!!
Obviously there are some pretty gruesome and horrific scenes so if you haven't read anything by Wulf or have a light stomach, tread very carefully. In fact, if you can get past the first chapter , you'll be fine!
About the ending:

This is my second book in Of Gods and Monsters serie. This book is about Hades, that we get to meet in the first book. Hades is, besides the bad ass president of the Cerberus Motorcycle Club, also the King of the crime world in the country. The story starts with Hades in prison (after being ratted out by a fellow MC-er) and jacked up on steroids, forced to fight to the death. The night he gets out of prison he finds sweet Rex in his bed and the love story begins.
It did take me a long time to finished this one. It had me so confused since so much is going on from the Russian drug cartel trying to take out all other gangs to corrupt cops turning their heads.And all the different gangs: The Italians, the Irish, the Japanse, the Russians with Japanse names... yeah really confused. I even thought to marked it DNF, but I did not wanted to give up.
Hades and Rex's relationship I found to be explosive with tender moments that were raw and intense.
Even tough I did struggle to finish, I will be reading the next one, since this one ended with a cliffhanger.

Everyone should know, I’ve been jonesing for this read for what seems like an eternity. So, my expectations were out of this universe, and while I knew I was probably setting myself up for disappointment, it couldn’t be helped. So, how did I feel about this book? I wanted to embrace it and never let it go but simultaneously throw it at the wall for leaving me hanging.
The characters.
The villains in this story will make you fall in love with them, making you forget that they have no qualms with popping eyeballs like a kid popping bubble wrap. No matter what they do you’ll always find yourself in their corner.
Breno Hades el Oscuro is one cold, huge-ass-mofo, that goes around bashing heads in, reminding everyone not to cross him. He’s violent, he’s a killer, and he’ll steal your heart with his ice-cream-eating ways. He has some serious hang-ups and believes he isn’t worth loving. It breaks your heart a little and then he continues to make your insides all gooey when you realise he’s just one big cuddly bear, albeit one that is ready to slice and dice when the situation calls for it.
Right when you think you’ll never meet anyone as ruthless as Hades, you’re then introduced to Kemono Orochi. To me, Kemono is like a myth. I feel like he’s the monster my parents warned me about; a deadly creature that I should avoid at all cost but one that I’m unable to put a face to. Any image I form in my head is fleeting. *sighs in frustration & grumbles* Mysterious bastard. I’m not too sure why he leaves me with that impression, regardless, I want to know more about him. Plus, I can’t help but admire his single-mindedness when it comes to Rex.
Rex Hunter is like a feisty little lion cub. Admittedly, there were a few moments when I felt like slapping him around but he won me over when I saw how fiercely he felt for Kemono then Hades.
Each character has a unique voice and more depth than most, making it difficult to not want more of them.

The writing was unlike anything I’ve read, it was... fan-fucking-tastic. While I can understand how it wouldn’t appeal to everyone, I loved the vivid imagery; I rather enjoyed the detailed descriptions. Every line had a purpose and it all contributed to creating a richer story.
The characters were well developed and 3-dimensional, the plot – engaging , the writing – superb. Now, what am I supposed to do with myself?

What's not to like than a big badass biker that finally falling in love? Hades always try to keep secure distance with someone he loved. Daddy Hades can't putting a little in danger because of the life he led. But dang it. There's just too much temptation a man could take. The story are much more complicated than that. This is a f***ed up read. Seriously.
I liked the writing style. It's not awkward anymore. This is the moment that I really wish GR had half star rating system. Despite everything I don't like, this book certainly deserve more than 3 stars. I love book with good chemistry. And this book has it.

OMFG!!! I can't really use any other way to express how I feel after reading this book...I just "thought" I was prepared for this one after reading Colt and Beo's tragic story in the first book...but hell no I wasn't. Prepare yourselves for one shocking and mind-blowing ride and I can promise that you will not easily forget what images your eyes will see in this graphic and brutal story of love, obsession and scars that will never heal.
In the first book Hades lost the love of his life Beo to Max and when we see him again, he is serving a sentence in prison, isolated, pumped full of steroids and forced to fight to the death to survive while becoming a vicious animal. Upon release is when he meets the sweet and gentle boy Rex in an unusual way, and thus begins their journey from hell to heaven and back.
I refuse to spoil the twists and turns and rich history described in the story so instead I choose to only give you my impressions of this fantastic (and very under-read) author and his work.
Wulf has a raw and very dangerous energy to his writing whether he is describing fights, lovemaking (and yes as brutal as it seems they 'are' making love) or his characters violent, show-no-remorse behavior. He is poetic and beautiful even when describing scenarios which are raunchy, base, down-to-earth, dirty and all kinds of wrong and if you can get through some of the more disgusting (not for everyone) acts of domination and possession, you will be rewarded with a powerful story of love and commitment. I can not stress this enough though...heed those warnings in the blurb...seriously read them and if you can't stomach two men doing (sometimes) vile and definitely not the normal vanilla acts to each other...then don't say you haven't been warned.
We are left with a doozy of a cliffhanger at the end of this book and re-appearances of some favorites from Menoetius who will make you squirm while reading and hold your breath in a few scenes (I know I did) but ultimately make you scream for the author to hurry up and write that third book already! Brilliant and powerful work.

In the first book Hades lost the love of his life Beo to Max and when we see him again, he is serving a sentence in prison, isolated, pumped full of steroids and forced to fight to the death to survive while becoming a vicious animal. Upon release is when he meets the sweet and gentle boy Rex in an unusual way, and thus begins their journey from hell to heaven and back.
I refuse to spoil the twists and turns and rich history described in the story so instead I choose to only give you my impressions of this fantastic (and very under-read) author and his work.

I liked this one even more than the first. Gotta say, I'm so glad the jello was blue. I don't think any other color would have worked well for me.
OMG! The ending is making me regret reading this so soon. Now I have to WAIT. I hate waiting. I need the next book pronto.
I loved seeing Rex, fight back for himself and seeing the softer side of Hades.
Violent, dirty, kinky. Great read.

Honestly I’m a little stunned by this book. It was very, very dark. It had references to things that I think a lot of our readers won’t be comfortable with. I love really dark books, and there were even some things that pushed my envelope a little bit.
First and foremost, I want to say that this isn’t really a romance. It is the story of two really evil men, both of whom are in love with the same young man. This book, which is really the first half of the story, deals primarily with Breno Hades el Oscuro (Hades), the current President of the Cerberus Motorcycle Club.
We meet Hades while he is imprisoned and being forced to do cage fighting. We jump right into things that might make some squeamish. One example would be when Hades digs out/pops the eyeballs of the guy who he is fighting. In typical Wulf fashion, we get lots of gory details.
Very shortly thereafter, Hades is released from prison and returns to his condo in New York City. Only problem? There is someone living there…a cute little red headed young man that it turns out might be just Hades type!
Rex Hunter is a male ballet dancer, but one with a dark past. The son of the former President of the Cerberus Motorcycle Club, Rex was spirited away to Japan to be raised under a shadowy crime figure known as The Dragon shortly after his father was killed. There Rex was protected and taught the things he wanted to learn, like ballet. The Dragon’s son, Kemono Orochi, was Rex’s first love, but when he was caught kissing Kemono, Rex was never allowed to talk to Kemono again. Now Rex has been brought back to NYC and dumped. Luckily the Cerberus Motorcycle Club takes care of their own, and they put him up in their Prez’s place, since the Prez is in jail.
Little do the two know that they are on a collision course that will take them to the edges of hell and back. Along the way there will be blood, mayhem, murders, castrations, decomposing corpses, and other dark things. There is also lots of sex, most of it not even slightly vanilla!
I liked this book a lot. To be really honest, I loved it up until about 75%. But then it started to feel it was getting a bit long. Wulf, as usual, writes very detailed storylines, with a lot of background information. Not that this is a bad thing, it just makes for a very long book. I also can’t say that I love a book that finishes with a total cliffhanger and a “to be continued” message. The author assures me the second half of the story will be out sometime in the first half of 2016, and it better be….otherwise I will have to get on a plane to South Africa and go kick some butt!
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a really, really dark story. If you’re looking for a sweet romance, go elsewhere. If you haven’t read book one in the series Of Gods And Men: Menoetius, it isn’t a prerequisite, but that one is also very worth your read!

It's gritty, dark, obscene, and strangely beautiful....
Hades is a scary man. Tall, dark, and ugly.
Rex is a beautiful, red headed dancer who feels safe in the arms of monsters.
Son of ex MC president, Rex is sent to live with The Dragon after his father is killed.
In this strange place he sees son of the Dragon, Kemono, and he does everything to try and gain his affection. He gets just one kiss.... and then nothing.
Rex is sent away on his 18th birthday, far away from the place he grew up in.
With the help of a club member, he gets a place to stay and a part-time job and dance lessons.
Dancing is where Rex feels his strongest. He loves to do it and it is his ultimate dream.
Rex and Hades get a little surprise when Hades gets out of jail after 4 years to come home to some stranger in his bed. From here, our story really takes off.
The chemistry between these two is insane. I love the Daddy/boy aspect. The nicknames Hades has for Rex are so friggen sweet. My favorite has to be Lion.
Rex heals Hades from his stint in jail and heartbreak from Beo. Hades makes Rex feel safe and cherished.. Only, Rex isn't aware of someone out there looking for him....
Oh how I can't wait for book 3. I need to know how this strange triangle is going to play out.
Wulf puts in a LOT of vulgarity in this book, but he also puts in the right balance of beautiful wordage and some very quotable sayings. There are A LOT of warnings to this book, do not take them lightly. If you have hard limits on certain things, make sure you read said warnings. If any of them offend you then this book is NOT for you. As for me...bring on the boy p*ssy and golden showers!!
I haven't read book 1 ((as i didn't' know it was a 2 until after purchase)) and I don't feel lost or confused at all, but i did go and 1-click book one, just because I am loving this authors style.
Side note: Why am I just now reading this author?

If you choose to read this book, take note of the warnings. This is at times a brutal book, which can be hard to take.
Hades returns from book 1 and this is his story along with Rex.
The author did a good job of showing both sides of Hades. The kind lover and the gang torturer.
I liked a lot about this book but there were also a lot of things I found disturbing.
It also ends on a cliffhanger. Now we are all waiting for the next book.

My god I love this book so much. Which is surprising, because I was very skeptical proceeding to this after reading the first installment. But man, am I SO GLAD I gave this book a chance.
The first thing I noticed is the improvement in the writing and the storytelling. I was not a big fan of Colt and Beo's book, but even from the first page of Hades' story I could easily tell that I would be in for a very good ride. The writing is solid; Wulf has a unique way of stringing words together that makes the dark and the twisted and the ugly sound... beautiful. Romantic, even. The book has a language of its own, and despite my initial misgivings, I got used to it pretty fast and ended up considering it as one of the best things about the book.
This being said, I do need to point out that following the text can be confusing at times because of the foreign words thrown here and there (so glad I took Spanish 10). I wish the glossary of terms had been added in the beginning instead; that would have made reading much easier. I also saw other readers point out that they never knew about the glossary until they finished the book, so it was pretty useless. Maybe this can be a consideration in a re-edited version? Do they still do that sort of thing?
In any case, it was around 30 pages into the book that I realized I was gonna be in love with this installment. Bears and twinks are hot, but scary, ugly, temperamental bears with cute, feisty little twinks are just so much hotter. Just imagine how happy it made me to realize that I was gonna get 300 pages of that. Literally one of the happiest moments of my life. I was practically tearing up and nearly ditched the application I was supposed to write.

This story will rip out your heart and leave you feeling nothing but raw in its wake. It’s meant to show the darker underbelly of the world we live in – one that most people never experience; one with pretty simple rules (be loyal to the brotherhood, acquire more power than your enemies, and kill or be killed). From the language to the graphic blood and gore to the rough and almost nasty sex, the author creates a vivid world that describes Hell to a “T” – dark, gritty, dysfunctional, and hopeless. This is Breno Hades reality.
But even when everything looks hopeless and bleak, it only takes a spark to create the beginning of light and love can bloom in the damnedest of places. Who knew that a wee little ginger haired twink had the power to create the spark and ultimately tame a wild beast, but it’s true. It is so unexpected to find even a hint of tenderness and healing among all the darkness, so it’s even more profound and gut wrenching to witness the effect that Rex has on the big, bad Daddy Hades as a result.
I loved that Beo and Colt were part of this story (it’s always great getting a further glimpse into the ongoing life of beloved characters) and that Hades has the opportunity to have the same type of relationship with his own boy Rex, but first they’ll have to hang out on the edge of that cliff with the rest of us until the author finishes the next book in the series. Hurry please! This was outstanding and I’m waiting for my next fix – is it done yet??!!

Hades and Rex are seared on my soul, they are so very beautiful together. We are all a bit of dark and light mixed together. These two are molten, perfectly imperfect. Rex is going to rip your heart out and hand it to Hades to stomp on. There may have been tears for these two more than once. And again you'll just have to read it, cause if I start spilling I won't be able to stop. And I have no wish to spoil it.

Most would read this book and not like it because let's be honest the main character Hades is not the nicest person but that does not mean he cannot have a good heart buried under all the hate and anger he has.
Hades is brash, crass, and does not take anything off of anyone. He believes in revenge and does not try to hide that fact. He is the Prez of his club and he believes in paying those who wronged he ones he loves. So what happens when he meets the old Prez hag was murdered son, Rex?
Rex is such an amazing individual whose Out look on life is so positive. He knows that bad things happen. He knows that there are bad people out there . He knows life is far from perfect. But he does not let that alter his bright disposition.
When Rex meets Hades part is scrared and part is intrigued. The more they get to know one another the more he realizes that Hades is not everything he appears to be. Rex realizes that there is a good person in that hard exterior of a man that if he lets you in and cares about you then he would do anything within his power to protect you.
Hades thought love was not in his future but is slowly realizing that maybe, just maybe he can have what he thinks about as far as someone to love, come home too, and build a life with in Rex.
Can two unlikely men get exactly what both want in the other or will outside forces rip them apart before they can even find out where things could possibly go with each other?
This is what I would call a dark read with a major cliffhanger. In being honest I really enjoyed this read and I think others will also if they give the book a chance. I look forward to reading the next book in this series as soon as possible.

I absolutely loved this book - and I didn't think I would as it has a reeeaaalllyyyy strong daddy kink! Well, strong for me seeing as I've never read anything like this before, apart from OGAM1 ;)
I can see that Kemono has a place and it looks like he's an integral character in book 3, but honestly, this story read and felt like a whole discrete unit on its own. Kemono was great as setting up the backstory but I really don't want anyone else poking around in Rex and Hades' relationship. Not sure I'll read book 3 as I don't want to taint what I've just read.... maybe at a later date.

Eh beh, non amo particolarmente il genere "Daddy Kink" ma ho messo da parte quello che preferisco o meno per godermi al meglio la storia e non me ne sono pentita.
È davvero fatto bene.
Hades non è ancora stato pubblicato, quindi non voglio dire troppo a parte che farete un bel viaggio nella mente di svariati personaggi tutti affascinanti a loro modo, in primis Hades, la montagna umana che ha sortito in me effetti contrastanti.
Nel primo libro Hades ha perso l'amore della sua vita, Beo, il ragazzo dolce che era riuscito a fare breccia nel cuore di quest'uomo grande, grosso e spaventoso, e lo ritroviamo nel secondo mentre sta scontando una pena in prigione. Non se la passa per niente bene, è imbottito di steroidi ed è isolato, tranne quando deve combattere fino alla morte per poter sopravvivere. Tutto questo lo porta a diventare una bestia feroce, violenta e assetata di sangue.
Non vi dirò come e perché ma entrerà a far parte della sua vita un ragazzo altrettanto dolce, Rex, e fra i due si instaurerà un rapporto che mi ha fatto sospirare parecchie volte.
Io mentre leggevo di loro due:
Ma durante i loro momenti intimi, descritti minuziosamente e dannatamente bene (alcune cose potrebbero "infastidire" chi non è abituato) io mi toglievo la bava dalla bocca, volendone sempre di più; nonostante alcune cose mi facessero socchiudere gli occhi, ero prosciugata e mi ritrovavo quindi in questo stato :
Ho amato Hades perché è temuto da tutti, è pericoloso e fa paura con quel corpo grosso pieno di tatuaggi e cicatrici ma, a contatto con Rex e con tutti quelli che lui ama, ho potuto finalmente scoprire di più, ho visto "l'uomo". Si prende cura di Rex, di Wendigo e dei suoi uomini. Scopriamo finalmente chi si cela sotto la "facciata" ed è un uomo che ne ha passate tante e che possiede cicatrici molto più profonde di quelle che si vedono sul suo corpo.
Spesso, quando non ero terrorizzata da lui, mi veniva una gran voglia di abbracciarlo.
Ma non entriamo solo nella testa di Hades, ci sono diversi POV.
Conosciamo Rex, il ragazzo che fa breccia nel cuore di Hades e Kemono.
KEMONO.
Viene descritto come uno psicopatico e lui e Rex hanno un passato.
Come dicevo, è conosciuto agli altri per essere un freddo e spietato assassino ma c'è altro che non vi svelerò. Mi dispiace solo che si veda poco, volevo di più *piange*
Il finale finisce con un cliff, sono andata avanti sperando che quel "to be continued" fosse uno scherzo dell'autore e invece no
Perché Wulf? Perché? Spero e prego di non dover aspettare troppo per il prossimo!
Per concludere questo delirio, voglio aggiungere che ho apprezzato la presenza dei personaggi del precedente romanzo: Beo, Max e Wendigo. Ma ce ne sono anche di nuovi e molto interessanti.
Ammetto che ho una leggera cotta anche per Wendigo e finalmente sappiamo un po' di più sul suo passato ed è davvero terribile.
Wulf ha un grande talento, riesce a descrivere tutto così bene che ti ritrovi catapultata nella storia; ti trascina immediatamente, e ti ritrovi a volerne di più, in pratica crea dipendenza. Questo secondo volume l'ho apprezzato molto di più, c'è dolcezza come nel primo, ma la "crudezza" di alcune parti fa decisamente per me. Sono molto soddisfatta.

È davvero fatto bene.
Hades non è ancora stato pubblicato, quindi non voglio dire troppo a parte che farete un bel viaggio nella mente di svariati personaggi tutti affascinanti a loro modo, in primis Hades, la montagna umana che ha sortito in me effetti contrastanti.
Nel primo libro Hades ha perso l'amore della sua vita, Beo, il ragazzo dolce che era riuscito a fare breccia nel cuore di quest'uomo grande, grosso e spaventoso, e lo ritroviamo nel secondo mentre sta scontando una pena in prigione. Non se la passa per niente bene, è imbottito di steroidi ed è isolato, tranne quando deve combattere fino alla morte per poter sopravvivere. Tutto questo lo porta a diventare una bestia feroce, violenta e assetata di sangue.
Non vi dirò come e perché ma entrerà a far parte della sua vita un ragazzo altrettanto dolce, Rex, e fra i due si instaurerà un rapporto che mi ha fatto sospirare parecchie volte.
Io mentre leggevo di loro due:
Ma durante i loro momenti intimi, descritti minuziosamente e dannatamente bene (alcune cose potrebbero "infastidire" chi non è abituato) io mi toglievo la bava dalla bocca, volendone sempre di più; nonostante alcune cose mi facessero socchiudere gli occhi, ero prosciugata e mi ritrovavo quindi in questo stato :
Ho amato Hades perché è temuto da tutti, è pericoloso e fa paura con quel corpo grosso pieno di tatuaggi e cicatrici ma, a contatto con Rex e con tutti quelli che lui ama, ho potuto finalmente scoprire di più, ho visto "l'uomo". Si prende cura di Rex, di Wendigo e dei suoi uomini. Scopriamo finalmente chi si cela sotto la "facciata" ed è un uomo che ne ha passate tante e che possiede cicatrici molto più profonde di quelle che si vedono sul suo corpo.
Spesso, quando non ero terrorizzata da lui, mi veniva una gran voglia di abbracciarlo.
Ma non entriamo solo nella testa di Hades, ci sono diversi POV.
Conosciamo Rex, il ragazzo che fa breccia nel cuore di Hades e Kemono.
KEMONO.
Viene descritto come uno psicopatico e lui e Rex hanno un passato.
Come dicevo, è conosciuto agli altri per essere un freddo e spietato assassino ma c'è altro che non vi svelerò. Mi dispiace solo che si veda poco, volevo di più *piange*
Il finale finisce con un cliff, sono andata avanti sperando che quel "to be continued" fosse uno scherzo dell'autore e invece no
Perché Wulf? Perché? Spero e prego di non dover aspettare troppo per il prossimo!
Per concludere questo delirio, voglio aggiungere che ho apprezzato la presenza dei personaggi del precedente romanzo: Beo, Max e Wendigo. Ma ce ne sono anche di nuovi e molto interessanti.
Ammetto che ho una leggera cotta anche per Wendigo e finalmente sappiamo un po' di più sul suo passato ed è davvero terribile.
Wulf ha un grande talento, riesce a descrivere tutto così bene che ti ritrovi catapultata nella storia; ti trascina immediatamente, e ti ritrovi a volerne di più, in pratica crea dipendenza. You may have to excuse my language, but some books call for more profanity than others.
I can’t argue that this book is drowning in darkness. There’s popped eyeballs, sliced out tongues, rotting corpses, people being set on fire, and just general murder left right and center. If you like bad men…and you know what that’s a total understatement – these men take bad and piss on it, put a bullet in its head and blow that shit up – yeah, so if you like that, then this is totally the book for you.
But strangely enough, I didn’t find it heavy with angst. I guess it will depend on what gets your anxiety levels going but for me, it’s the emotional bullshit that I hate. These characters don’t deal in that crap. If they feel it then they’re going to show it, and since most of what they feel is anger, they don’t tend show it with hugs and smiles.
The story is told from different view points – Hades, Rex and, to a lesser degree, Kemono. Even a few random side characters get to have their thoughts known, but there is never any confusion about whose eyes we’re watching through. While the blurb mentions all three main characters this first half of their story concentrates on Rex and Hades. By the end of the book Kemono still hasn’t had contact with the other two men, although he knows exactly where they are. He isn’t one to lose track of what he wants. All three men are amazingly well written, the author obviously pouring all his considerable talent into creating them. The levels of passion and charisma that is pulled from these characters makes them seem so real; for all that I’ve definitely never met anybody like them.
This is only the first part of this story and it ends with a worrying cliffhanger. But…I didn’t care at all. You know how you love the hell out of a book and when it ends with a cliffhanger you bitch and moan and cyber stalk the author until you find out where they live so you can nail a dead cat to their door…no? Huh, just me then? Well anyways, I actually loved this story so damn much that I was happy for it to end like that. And I can assure you that I have never ever said that before. But now I can spend the next few months (please no longer than that!) anticipating what is going to come next, and knowing that my mind just isn’t up to getting it right. As for the length, the story didn’t drag for me at all. It didn’t matter if I was reading sex, murder or Hades sitting down to eat a bowl of cereal, I loved every sentence in this book. I was pretty much bouncing on my chair yelling – Yes! Fucking kill something! – but the contrast with the calmer moments made those flashes of violence and sex so much more explosive.
This isn’t a romance. Romance is too soft and sweet a word for any character to grace the pages of this story. There’s love, but its no sappy, poetic emotion. When these men say – I’d die for you or I’d kill for you– they fucking mean it. Their love and devotion and commitment is like an inferno that would greedily consume everything in its path to reach its goal.
I recommend reading Of Gods And Men: Menoetius, the first book in this series. But you don’t necessarily need to read it first. The characters from that story pop up here, and you’re going to want to know their story too.
This story won’t be for everyone, but if you enjoy having your boundaries pushed – this is the author to do it.

This is book 2 in Wulf Francu Godgluck’s Of Gods and Monsters series. After reading book 1 I knew what to expect from this author. He is a dark erotica writer. Be warned that there could be triggers and that he is far from shy about addressing ALL sexual proclivities. It is violent, gory at points, it’s vulgar, and it’s saturated in a deviant nature. But you can see I gave it 5 stars. See, when I read a book I look at one very important thing. Does it make me want for more? And it did. Even before the cliffhanger *glares* I didn’t want it to end. It’s such a well written, brilliantly structured book. The characters are flawlessly broken, needing, wanting and they own you completely. Yes, I may not practice the things they do but I certainly can appreciate the raw and gritty lifestyle these monsters live. Hades got my attention in book one and I have eagerly awaited this book. Rex, that sweet little gingersnap! He is deceiving when you first see him. All sweet and alluring but indeed a lion he is. I thoroughly enjoyed reading him. Wulf is AMAZING at what he does. Bringing dark erotica to the pages. Luring you into a hellish world, one of which you don’t come out of unscathed. It may not be your cup of tea but if you do take a sip it will absolutely change your world.

Kinky, violent and warm fuzzies
Basically, sweet Twinks and criminal, murderous Daddies find true love. There is plot - mostly related to unrealistic, illegal, underworld activities and acts of revenge. Lots of porn, mostly Dom/Sub of various stripes and truly creative and copious profanity. If any of that bothers you this book is best avoided. If it fits your particular kink, or even if you're just open minded and able to suspend disbelief and 'real world' morality, this is a fun read. The author has professional writing mechanics and is talented in drawing interesting characters, including secondary. Sprinkled amongst the larger than life personalities and behavior is some actual character growth. Strange love affirming. IMO if you liked Sin City you'll like this.
One caveat- this is part one. NOT COMPLETED. Ends on a pretty major cliffhanger. The first entry in the 'Gods and Monsters' series was released about six months previously although it was a stand alone story. The author may release a sequel to this earlier but who knows.

Seriously....SERIOUSLY....to be continued!!!? WTF NO! I hope to hell it's not a year for the rest.....*breath* alright i'm more calm now..... *clears throat*
Ok...now.... wow loved it...it's like crude gritty dark language that make you cringe a little inside but that you can't help but love cuz it wouldn't be the same book otherwise. It's a darkness that grips your guts and your heart, where you can't help yourself watching it unfolds. Kinda reminds me og K.A Merikan's books and the Guns & Boys serie ( which is awesome btw)
Now with this book it mostly centered on Hades and Rex's relationship and between you and me.... I can't wait for Kemono to show up more and the dynamics it's gonna bring though and how THAT'S gonna affect the relationship...crazy but Hades is a little insecure... Now to not so patiently wait for the next one.....

Dirty, gritty, dark, bad talkin bad boy killer Daddy Hades & His sweet, innocent, shy, always nice young man Little Rex Hunter. This story had it all, foul mouths, killings, tender moments, hot sexy parts, revenge, righting wrongs , you name it you will find it all in this. BUT.... this is only part ONE. Is Hades coming back for his little lion or will he let the cold hearted Japanese assassin Rex's first love claim the man with dancing eyes aka Rex. I will be on the edge of my seat waiting to the next part in this dark story or romance.

Ok this was one intense read - Hades is a badass killer, stone cold, who lives in the darkest world. He mixes with killers and leads a disturbing and gritty life. Rex has lived his life surrounded by killers but only sees the light that shines. He is drawn to the darkest individuals and after meeting Hades he only sees love & light. Hades is confused by this devotion but it builds his protective side and becomes Daddy Hades to his Rex.... This was building beautifully and some kinky intense passion was starting unravel and then ...... The END !!! Arghhh hate cliffhangers, especially when the next book is not ready yet - yikes I am so wanting the next installment

I loved this book. I was really looking forward to Hades' book. I hate that it did not end the way I would have anticipated but it does not stop me from getting hooked on this series. The characters are awesome and I wanted to cover my eyes with some of the parts of this book...but I couldn't look away. It was gritty, dirty, horrendous, and yet loving. I wanted more. To really understand this story I recommend starting at book 1. You can read this first but to really be invested, that is what I recommend. This series is a 5 star read for me and I can't wait to read more.

I have no words to express how beautifully dark and emotional this book is. The journey Rex and Daddy Hades goes on was consuming for me - I couldn't put the book down. The authors ability to describe exact feelings is awe inspiring. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!!!

You've got to be shitting me, right? How long till the next one comes out? This was a gripping and emotional ride. I fucking loved every minute of it. Not used to me swearing? Suck it up, I will return to normal in a few hours. I just have to digest what I just read.
