One reluctant night out. One irresistible bachelor. A second chance at love…
When Giada Gardner agrees to attend a charity bachelor auction, she’s expecting a night of forced smiles and conversation with a bottle of wine to help her get through it. She wasn’t expecting to lock eyes with one particular bachelor on the stage—a man she thought she’d never see again. He was her childhood best friend and only heartbreak, Kasim Noble.
Kasim has never forgotten Giada. He didn’t forget what her friendship meant to him and definitely didn’t forget the way she walked out of his life back then. So, if this bachelor auction is a way for him to finally get answers, that’s what he’ll do. But he’s looking for more than a one-night dinner date—he wants forever by any means necessary.

FMC wasn’t likable, I can tolerate some you know millionaire fantasy romance but I can’t take a FMC who’s clearly strapped for cash basically getting along judging someone who she used to know and be close to cus he has money. Like I promise every other sentence was about that man’s money like GIRLLLLLL ENOUGH lmaoo
And yes, she was lucky to get a second chance with her childhood crush. Giada's mother worked for Kasim's wealthy family, so the fact that they were friends was amazing. Then, fast forward several years and they get the chance to rekindle their friendship and more. You will love their journey back to their inevitable future. I highly recommend this story.
This was such a sweet love story!!!… My heart broke to learn what Giada’s mom did!!!…Parents are to want better for their children!!!…The seeds she planted for Giada was based on the hurt inflicted by Giada’s father and that, broke my heart for both of them!!!… Giada wanted to believe that Kasim had no problems because his parents were rich, but she never took in him saying he had nothing but loneliness because there was no one there for him!!!… I was glad that Diedra continued to encourage her and let her know the part she played in him getting back in her life!!!… They deserved the love that came with their return!!!…To know a love so strong, that you have waited and saved yourself for that person is beautiful!!!…
This book reminded me why I have read romance novels for as long as I can remember. Not only was the storyline relatable, but the characters were too. The book has just enough spice to keep it interesting, but as the story unfolds you clearly understand that this a second chance love story, and the FMC was determined to get it right this time around.
Title: Isn't She Lucky Author: Tina Martin Publisher: T.M. Reviewed By: Arlena Dean Rating: Four Review: "Isn't She Lucky" by Tina Martin
My Review: 'Isn't She Lucky' was a wonderful love story for Kasim and Giada. The story had me shaking my head a bit with all the things that went on, especially with that mother's input. However, it was interesting to see how things worked out for these two.
I’ve been reading Tina Martin’s books for years now and each story lives me with a bit of hope regardless of it being fictional! I’m a hopeful romantic, so her books just support that lol. Great quick read!
The love these two, Kasim and Giada, encountered from their existence was powerful. They were from totally different backgrounds and nothing could break their love, not even the fourteen years of not seeing each other.
This story was so good. Giada & Kasim whew. Love is so pure and when you find it, it consumes you & never lets you go. When you know it’s real you can’t seem to shake it. I’m happy they found their happily ever after.
Good read, I liked the characters and story. Giada and Kasim are from opposite social/economic backgrounds. They are best friends that reunited after fourteen years and a misunderstanding. Which was perpetrated by a lie. This is their journey to forever love.
Tina knocked it out the park with this one. It was short sweet and powerful.Kasim and Giada started with puppy love and it grew to never ending love. MS Gardner was all kinds of wrong for keeping them apart after they finished college.
I’m so happy they were able to find their way back to each other. It broke my heart when she read the letter. G’s mom projected her own issues on her daughter. Love truly wins.
This story had just the right amount of everything I needed. Love, heartache, trust, misconceptions and honesty. When you grow up a certain way it changes you, and sometimes not fit the good. Thank you for this story of true love and sincerity among two people.
Short and sweet...will have you tear tested because of their story. I highly recommend. I love how they both saved themselves for each other how magical that union was.
I love that despite time and distance they were able to reconnect past the lies and secrets. One thing is for sure absence makes the heart grow fonder and Gilda and Kasim proved that to be true.
I can understand Giada's mother's fear especially from her experience. She may have taken it to far. Did she not see her daughter not really happy just existing.
The luck runs amok in this perfectly written happily ever after romance. Ms. Martin allows the reader to experience all the feels. I knew it would be a good read!!!
Beautiful short read. Kasim and his favorite girl Giada from elementary ages. He found his soulmate early in life, out of his own loneliness, Giada filled voids in Kasim youth. He did the same for her, until he didn’t. Even in this short read is intrigue snd surprises as these two attempt to reconnect with what rach had been missing for over 14 years.
I loved how much the two main characters loved each other, even during the years of separation. I didn’t like how Giada was lied to and manipulated into marriage, although I understand Kasim’s desperation. Now, Kasim is no where near my favorite leading man. The way Giada was his whole world, literally, gives all kinds of red flags. But glad it worked out for them.
