About the author

Warren C. Rainer grew up in small town in Eastern Washington State with experiences ranging from agriculture to mining and also working with his dad building homes. Always intrigued by writing and story telling he started an in house family newspaper when he was in grade school. As an adult he continued to write fiction for his two daughters and his wife. As a professional sales executive he wrote multiple business plans, marketing analysis, product strategies and other sales and marketing documents. He continues to write and enjoy other pursuits such as reading, backpacking, woodworking, spending time with his grandchildren and traveling with his wife.

I won this book on a Goodreads giveaway and ended up flying through it in two days. I honestly did not expect to get so invested so fast. The storyline about the stolen software and the world of high tech crime was so interesting and felt very real. The way everything was explained made it easy to follow but still exciting.

What really made this book stand out for me was the characters. They felt like real people with real fears and flaws. I found myself caring about what would happen to them and hoping they would make the right choices. The tension kept building in a way that made it hard to stop reading. Every chapter gave just enough to keep me hooked. If you enjoy fast paced thrillers with strong character development this one is definitely worth picking up.

could have been an email

I feel bad for saying it but this book could’ve been an email…i won it in a good reads giveaway. I like thrillers so I was excited but it took me way longer to finish this than it should’ve. It wasn’t thrilling until the last like 20 pages.

This was a fast pace thriller with a great plot. Enjoyed the complex characters. It goes to show you a Tech job can be a dangerous one.
