Kate Korsak is the author of The Vellichor Epic, a classic fantasy series inspired by Zelda and The Lord of the Rings! She loves all things fantasy, whimsical, and creative, and if there's a hobby you like, she's probably tried it. She spends her days in Tampa, Florida, worldbuilding, collecting swords, and building LEGO with her husband (who is much better at it than she is).

Kate loves to stay at home where she has two cats, one dog, one husband, seven swords, twelve daggers, a Nintendo DSi, and more books than anyone could possibly read.

In addition to writing, Kate loves to make fantasy maps! She offers commissions to fellow authors, worldbuilders, and game masters and is happy to help bring their worlds to life!

Remarkable. That’s the only word I can conjure up to describe the heart-stopping finale of Kate Korsak’s Vellichor Epic. Son of Saints takes everything readers loved about Guardian—gripping action, mysterious magic, witty banter, and fierce friendships—and cranks it up several notches. The depth to Korsak’s worldbuilding and character development is masterful; truly, this is an epic fantasy that would make Tolkien proud.

Son of Saints is the epic conclusion of the Vellichor Epic, pun intended.
If you enjoy books that have you holding your breath in anticipation as you turn the page, this is for you. Kate knows how to weave, not just an incredible story, but action packed battle scenes that leave you feeling like you’re clinging to the back of a dragon. I stand by what I said after reading Guardian, if you’re sick and tired of mainstream TV shows dropping the ball with action adventure stories, pick up this duology.
Her world is rich, these character archs are SO satisfying, and by the end of it you’ll keep reliving these moments in your head. The raw emotion from these characters will absolutely leave you choked up, so be prepared.
Kate never disappoints with her writing, and I can’t wait to see what she makes for us next!

I was so excited for this release after finishing the first book! Jumping back into the world of Vellichor was like a nostalgic comfort, like coming back to an old video game you loved and used to play all the time. The worldbuilding continued to be immersive as much as it was in the first book, the character banter made me smile, and I was all for the light vs. dark themes of balance. The conclusion to this series is 100% a memorable one, and anyone who's a major fan of the classic, high fantasy vibe will love Kyler and Vellichor. You will not be sorry for going on this adventure of a series!

Oh my goodness this book was amazing! I was so afraid one of my favorite characters was going to die but I’m glad I was wrong and he lived. Also I’m so proud of Bricru! Also he needs a hug and I will gladly give it to him.
