Sara lives in Italy with her husband, Paolo, and their two children, Lily and Max. Her first children’s book, Max the Gem Finder, was inspired by her real-life gem-collecting son, proving that no sock, drawer, or cereal box is safe from hidden treasures. After relocating to Turin, she and Paolo co-wrote Operation Relocation Workbook, the guide they wish they had before their move—because figuring out taxes and logistics in a new country should not be an extreme sport.
When she’s not writing, Sara can be found drinking espresso, attempting to learn Italian hand gestures, and trying (unsuccessfully) to keep rocks out of the house.
