“Every time I see a story by P.D., I know without a doubt, it will be interesting, engaging, intellectually stimulating…”—Otis Jiry, host of Scary Stories Told in the Dark

Good evening, horror seekers. What you are about to read is not for the faint of heart. In these pages you’ll find…

Three lighthouse keepers who vanish without explanation, leaving behind diaries that foretell events that haven’t yet occurred. A car accident victim finds himself trapped in a strange house with a young boy who insists “dead is dead”. Four friends on a hunting trip encounter a legendary monster in the Kentucky woods. A dark figure that appears after a man’s near-death experience demanding payment for his borrowed time.

Consider yourself warned. You’ve found what you’re looking for. The terror begins now.

Fantastic read! These are great horror short stories that are not gory. Some contain acts of violence but that is not the focus of the stories. These are just creative, tightly-written suspenseful thrillers of strange and macabre events that happen to ordinary people. This is like a collection of stories that would be right at home on Old Time Radio drama shows of the past like Suspense, Lights Out, or Hermit’s Cave with shades of Rod Sterling’s Twilight Zone thrown in at times for good measure. So creative, engaging and fun to read. Looking forward to cracking open Volume 2 (there are a total of 3 volumes out so far with 3 more on the way very soon). Highly recommended!

The narrator really does well in this audiobook.
Overall, the stories are good. with some being better than others, but really a good set of almost no sleep style stories.
If you enjoy no sleep style horror stories than you might enjoy this audiobook.
