Ash Davon is a regular, degular, schemegular mom of two. Nowadays, if she isn’t working out, she’s reading or writing. Occasionally, she will watch a Kdrama or renovate something in her house, but for the most part her nose is buried in a book. Growing up on the East Coast, Ash Davon loves summer and spending her time on the beach or in the ocean. Unfortunately, living in Michigan doesn’t lend those options, so she pretends to be anywhere else by losing herself in a story. She loves a good bowl of ramen or tacos, tending to her 50 plus house plants and working up a sweat in the sunshine.
I’m think I’m calling it quits lol. I made it to page 62 and I have no desire to read it. This was supposed to be a quick palette cleanser after reading some fantasy for a while. I’ve sat on this book for over a year and trying to read it is such a drag for me. It’s a bit repetitive and the grammar could do with some work. The writing feels a bit stilted. Maybe one day I’ll return for it but for now, we go separate ways lol.
Here’s a snippet of some repetitiveness:
“Somehow, our two social circles inter-sected, but we never knew. We just never interacted until that day. We discovered all of his people knew all of my people, but we had never been introduced. We even attended the same parties in undergrad but never met.”
And the way everyone towers over her is alarming and annoying lol.

OMG i couldn't put it down, was addicted by page 1!! This story made me laugh, cry, scoff, gasp, ALL THE FEELINGS! This book actually made me believe in romance again, not joking! Perfect balance of a cozy but chaotic hallmark storyline with ALL the spice one truly wants... no NEEDS! Also, I've never hated a doorbell more in my life!
