The characters were off on many adventures in this book, and the pacing kept things exciting throughout. Once again, the author did a great job developing characters we had previously been introduced to, giving them more depth and backstory. It was especially great learning about the elite group known as The Firsts—a fascinating addition to the world-building.
As is typical with this series, the book ends on another cliffhanger. I can’t wait to find out what happens next!
