Born and raised in Colorado into a family of ranchers and cowboys, B.N. Rundell is the youngest of seven sons. Juggling bull riding, skiing, and high school, graduation was a launching pad for a hitch in the Army Paratroopers. After the army, he finished his college education in Springfield, MO, and together with his wife and growing family, entered the ministry as a Baptist preacher. Together, B.N. and Dawn raised four girls that are now married and have made them proud grandparents. With many years as a successful pastor and educator, he retired from the ministry and followed in the footsteps of his entrepreneurial father and started a successful insurance agency, which is now in the hands of his trusted nephew. He has also been a successful audiobook narrator and has recorded many books for several award-winning authors. Now finally realizing his life-long dream, B.N. has turned his efforts to writing a variety of books, from children’s picture books and young adult adventure books, to the historical fiction and western genres which are his first love.

This is the last of the series of which Cord has to make a decision to either continue to fulfill his obligations as a U.S. Marshall or stay with a beautiful Ute Indian woman and make her his wife. The author B.N. Rundell once again reveals his proficiency in Western life in his native home state of Colorado. Being a Baptist preacher myself, I especially like his emphasis on Cord’s daily walk with God and his battle to fulfill His will for his life. It may be too spiritual for some readers, but then for those of us who believe in a personal God who loves us and cares for us sinners, this is an excellent book. Thank you, Mr Rundell for daring to present the reality of God’s hand in the life of those who seek Him.
I have enjoyed the Quest Chronicles series from beginning to end. B N Rundell weaves a great story that is historically correct and an engaging tale. It’s like he plugs his fictional characters into the actual past. I also like how he paints an accurate portrayal of the rugged yet beautiful landscape of the west. Then , to top it off, he works in the gospel of Christ and the “Roman road” to redemption. Well done!
Intriguing, action packed, love, hate, revenge, learning from God's Word, teaching of forgiveness of sins through Jesus. I love your books. They draw you in and keep you wanting more. Also keeping it wholesome. Cannot wait for the next book. God blessed you with your talent to write.
B.N Rundell has delivered another great western series and this book is the conclusion story, wrapping up the story of Cordell Beckett. Throughout all his adventures and years riding in the West, protecting the settlers and the Native American tribes, Cord studies the Bible and strives to live the walk, expound on the world with the gospel by his own actions.
This six book series was a masterpiece. Having spent four months with the Navaho in Chinle I found following Cords journey brought back many memories of my time as member of a group of health providers. I made several great friends with the Navaho and was unhappy to leave. Sure would be great to see if Cord returns!
Cordell Beckett is a US Marshal who spent some time living with the Utes and learning their ways. When their shaman, Lone Eagle, gets kidnapped by a rogue Indian and his gang, Cord has to get involved. Bear think Lone Eagle belongs to him, but she chose Cord instead. Lot of action and excitement in this one, as well as some good messages.
I have read the the first 6 books and either the author does not know how marshals earned a living or he just ignore it. He writes a decent story but there seems to be a !little too much Scripture. If he was a preacher I understand, but he's suppose to be a Marshall.
Well Marshall Cordell Beckett had a run in with a couple of big evil guys but come out on top. Met a new friend Patches and reacquainted with previous Ute friends. Good read. Big D
As always I have truly enjoyed reading this book. I would highly recommend anyone who enjoys go clean scripture filled reading to follow this amazing author.
