Please check trigger warnings for this book before picking it up. OMG!!! I don’t even know where to start with this review for this book. Kyros the unhinged but hot af mmc (I need to find me one of him) Sirenity a witchy bratty baddie fmc. The amount of times I laughed at the banter between these two was perfect and did end up getting looks at me while I was reading at work. The plot was amazingly written and made it so you didn’t want to put the book down, the spice was spicing and may have unlocked something’s I didn’t know I would want to try. This Koven’s debut book and holy crap you would not even think that it was. I can not wait to see if there is another book with these two and see what their future books.

Overall, I enjoyed the book! It was a dark twisted and spooky read with a HEA and major closure to MMC and the FMC! I loved the spice of this book. The FMC was easy to relate to being a bratty witchy sassy independent woman who finds the man of her dreams! I wish it was a longer read! But the authors do a great job of sucking you in and keeping you there!

This book was amazing! The plot, the spice, etc. I do wish there was a little more to the story or more to the plot, but it was amazing all in the same. It was nice to see that the FMC was described differently then most books too, I love that she’s the one who’s always been in control, she’s feisty, she’s got tattoos, and her hair?? A BONUS.

Kyros is a sexy construction man who’s caught Sirenity’s attention one day while on a run. She’s running from a creep and talks to him nervously to make the man go away. What she doesn’t realize is Kyros has determined to make her his after that one interaction. What turned into a little crush turned into a huge obsession. But we love men who are obsessed so who’s complaining? Besides Sirenity of course but even she admitted it’s quite cute and hot.

Kyros also has a twin brother Kyron and they both take out the dirty disgusting men in the world who think it’s okay to take advantage of women. One day Kyros’ double life catches up to him and Sirenity but he’ll stop at nothing to protect her.

Amazing book, I loved it. Please check your trigger warnings before reading!!

This is an amazing dark romance book. If you’re a reader of this genre.. I highly recommend this! It’s intense, beautiful, crazy and even a little funny!! If you love snark… Sirenity will entertain you!

please check your triggers before reading..

This book is dark dangerous and sexy, and so is Kyros. Comically referred to as construction-site Adonis.. He’s controlled, sexy, and a hunter. Not in the sense you would think of.. no, he hunts people. His brother and him hunt men who harm and/or murder women. Sirenity is a headstrong witchy smart ass how bartends a club and jogs. These two meet when Kyros see’s a man following Sirenity on her jog. She felt uncomfortable and stopped to ask questions about the houses that were going up in the area and started talking to Kyros. He comes to meet her and checks to make sure that she’s okay.

Was it fate that would bring them together? What secrets will be revealed??

please check your triggers before reading..

I enjoyed this book, as it was an exhilarating read. The author’s attention to detail and craft the characters made them feel incredibly vivid and realistic, allowing me to connect with the book and visualize it. Additionally, the pacing of the story was perfect, maintaining a satisfying rhythm that kept me engaged from beginning to end. The plot and well-developed characters left a lasting impression, and I would be eager to explore more works of this caliber—especially from Koven, whose storytelling is both compelling and masterful.

The way I devoured this book should be criminal. I absolutely loved how the MMC fell head over heels for the FMC first and how deeply he fell for her to where he would literally burn the world down for her to keep her safe and to keep her his, he’s morally grey. The FMC is bratty and witchy, but in all the best ways. When she finds out what he does behind the scenes, she doesn’t run, but instead gives him the best gift closure.

I really really wanted to love this book. the concept was great, but unfortunately it just didn't rise up to the expectation. there was very little character development. the story felt rushed, and it was a 300 page book. so sorry to the authors, but it just wasnt for me. I'm all here for the mmc being a serial unaliver of rapists, and having a badass fmc, but this just fell short for me.

10/10 Absolutely Amazing

From the second this book started I was HOOKED. absolutely amazing story with even better main characters. Ever since I saw the first post about this story I was hooked, and I’m so glad I was able to read it. If you are looking for a dark romance that has a sassy FMC and an MMC who is just as dark and brooding. This is the one! To the authors, you are both amazing and I am so proud of you! I hope there is more to come and the stories just keep getting better and better.

The way that I ATE THIS BOOK UP in one day…. It’s like Brynne Weaver and HD Carlton had a baby, and this was the beautiful first born. The banter was on point, the dark romance was chef’s kiss, storyline flowed amazingly. We also love a book that has a HEA, no cliffhanger, and no third act breakup.

I will say, for a first book ever from this author, I’m obviously impressed. There were minor punctuation and spelling errors, and I mean minor. I cannot wait to see what else this author publishes in the future.

Koven’s debut was fucking spectacular. The friendship between Sirenity and Skyler is truly unmatched - these bitches know how to party and I wish I could be part of their coven. Then… KYROS. My god, the way I melted like sugar myself every time he called Sirenity that. The spice? Immaculate. The banter? Witty and fun. The unhinged-ness of them together? Absolute, batshit wildness that I will love forever. Congrats ladies on an incredible debut - I can’t wait to see what the future holds for yall 🖤

Be sure to check the trigger warnings—this is dark romance, after all—but I devoured this book. I was lucky enough to get my hands on an ARC, and wow. Kyros is seriously HOT (and he has a doctor brother, just saying). Sirenity’s friendship with Skyler gave me major real-life vibes—especially their tarot readings, which reminded me so much of me and one of my closest friends. And the revenge ending? Chef’s kiss. I still can’t believe this is a debut. Seriously—read it!

Unmarked is a gripping dark romance that masterfully intertwines themes of power, vulnerability, and desire. The story introduces us to Kyros, a trained killer with a shadowy past, and Sirenity, a defiant witch who refuses to bow to anyone. Their dynamic is electric, filled with tension, wit, and unexpected moments of tenderness.

The writing style is both intense and captivating, drawing readers into a world where danger and passion collide. The characters are richly developed, with Kyros's unhinged yet protective nature and Sirenity's fiery independence creating a compelling push-and-pull dynamic. The witty banter between them adds a layer of humor to the otherwise dark and suspenseful narrative.

The book doesn't shy away from exploring complex emotions and moral ambiguities, making it a thought-provoking read. However, it's worth noting that the story delves into dark themes, so readers should check trigger warnings before diving in.

Overall, Unmarked is a must-read for fans of dark romance who enjoy a blend of intensity, humor, and deeply flawed yet endearing characters. It's a story that will leave you both breathless and eager for more.

This was such an amazing read. The story, the characters, the spice.... perfection!

Kyros is your dream MMC, who is stalker, obsessed, dominant, sexy, and sweet. He will make you laugh, he will make you hot and I would suggest not reading him anywhere but at home.

Sirenity is the perfect FMC, she loves the chase, the obsession, the dominance but she loves to be a brat! Together they make the book amazing, make you laugh out loud and honestly enjoy reading.

I loved the MCs but I also loved the other characters Kyron and Skyler. I would love to see them have their own book one day.

Favourite Line/Quote -- “Rise and shine, slut!” I announce, shaking the cup just enough to make the scent of caffeine seep into her sleepy little gremlin brain.

Coming off a fantasy binge, I didn't realize how much I needed a morally grey psycho stalker until Unmarked! I devoured this book in less than a day-completely unable to put it down. From start to finish, I was captivated by the main couple and their relentless perseverance. While I'm thrilled we got a HEA, I need a book two about his brother's romance—and a book three where her best friend finds a psycho stalker of her own! This story had everything I could've asked for in a quick (242-page) read.

The book may be titled Unmarked, but it definitely left an impression. Huge congrats to the authors -I'm officially impressed, and I might just have to tune into the podcast now too!

I devoured this!

Feisty witch studying forensic psychology.
Hot construction worker who helps her out of a sticky situation, then goes full stalker mode.
Twin brothers who take out the scum bags the justice system screws up with.

SO GOOD.

I could have used a bit more of a mystery plot, BUT by being more low key it also made this a very simple read that didn’t require my undivided attention.

I would say it’s a very fun palette cleanser between my fantasies. Just check the TW’s, because it IS a DARK romance. It’s well done and was a great, quick.

This book is unhinged, and I loved every second of it. Within the first few pages, I was hooked. Really fast paced but the back story is also there. If you like dark romance, stalkers, witchy vibes, and an unhinged sexy obsessed man, this book is definitely for you! The FMC is a bratty little witch who knows how to party! The MMC is a strong, obsessed, and possessive man who wants nothing more in life than Serinity. For this to be the authors 1st book bravo! Loved it and can't wait for more books!

The list of knee-weakening, panty ruining fictional badass boyfriend gets another name added to its ranks with Koven’s introduction of Kyros— The possessively obsessive, overly protective, trained killer with a moral compass coated in a heavy layer of blood and vengeance in the sake of justice (and just as equally deserving of the title of attractive fictional baddy, the sharp tongued, headstrong and witty witch, that is just as relatable as she is smart-mouthed ,Serenity.)
The banter in their story made me laugh, and I found myself saying “Same, girl, same”, at the majority of Serenity’s inner thoughts on so many occasions. The spice—🤌🏻. This one’s for the girls who want a man to take the control from their hands, dominant, forceful and intoxicating—finding theirselves weak at the prospect of being owned (or in this case, maybe hunted) in the best way—with the type of darkly irresistible edge that’ll find you feeling no desire to use that *carefully chosen safe word*. 🐍
I also want to point out my appreciation for the little additions Koven included to give gentle nods to their fans (looking at you Dramione girls) and really feel like they found a fun way to show their appreciation for the fans of their podcast and the fandom community they like to shine a light on.
I would like to dive a bit deeper into the characters we’ve been introduced to (Kyron—you have my attention, sir) and get to know a little more how they’ve came to be the strong and darkly enigmatic and intriguing people we’ve seen in this story. I found myself really enjoying them, but feeling at times that the plot seemed a little bit rushed—not enough to deter me from devouring this read, but still finding myself wishing there had been a little bit more of a build up to their dynamics and the major events that take place.
Over all, I enjoyed the book and look forward to Koven expanding on Kyros and Serenity’s story. For a first published work, there’s definitely the promise of something great waiting for Koven in their journey of the dark romance genre.

Alright 😅 I kept going back and forth on whether to rate Unmarked 4 or 5 stars. In the end, I landed on ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ because—despite a few flaws—it completely held my attention. I devoured this book so fast. From the very first page, it pulls you in and doesn’t let go. The writing has that hook-you-in energy that’s hard to resist.

The MMC and FMC? Intense. Strong. And absolutely here for the vibes. 🔥 I loved their dynamic—it felt bold and different without being overdone. The FMC especially stood out. She and her best friend bring this fun, witchy energy 🧙‍♀️ to the page, and it was so refreshing to see a main character with a unique vibe and personality that broke away from the usual molds.

The ending? Chef’s kiss. 👏 It took a turn I didn’t totally expect, and it wrapped things up in a way that was both satisfying and smart. I appreciated that the story didn’t try too hard to shock for the sake of it—it flowed naturally into a really solid conclusion. 🎯

Now… the reason I almost gave it 4 stars is because the plot felt a little rushed 😬. I would’ve loved more depth—some extra time to build tension and get to know the side characters more. It didn’t feel quite as fully fleshed out as it could’ve been.

Still, it was a great, quick read—a refreshing change of pace when you’re not in the mood for something super heavy or slow.

Definitely recommend if you're into witchy vibes, fast pacing, and fierce leads that don’t hold back. 💫
