No matter how cool or beautiful the book is after being used in a craft I just hate seeing books damaged. My favorite crafts in this books are the stunning bookmarks which still makes me wish I had the creative gene to make them. Bookish Crafts references Austen in one of the crafts and someone decided that was enough to earn one of those coveted spots when someone searches for Jane Austen. (Can you hear my eyeroll? It's very loud.)
This book isn't terrible for what it is--the twee sort of crafts that aren't actually useful or unique, but can give someone an entertaining hour or two if that's the sort of thing they're into--but I wasn't terribly impressed.
I loved finding this little gem at my local library. I am always seeking out brief, easy-to-use crafting books. Several great projects I am going to try!
