I was very worried about Satsuki compared to when Hasegawa was introduced.
Sure, both gave off some vibes that they would come in between Akane & Yamada romantically. But... That turned out to be wrong. In Hasegawa's case, he already had his sights on someone else. In Satsuki's case, she respects their relationship & immediately put Yamada out of the dating pool. Also loved how Satsuki tried her best to put Akane at ease.
It was very heartwarming to see Yamada step up for his loved ones. Same goes for Akane.
I also sympathised with Akane over her relationship worries (which were mainly in her head). However, both Akane & Yamada perfectly complements each other.

No me acuerdo NADA de lo que pasa en este volumen pero la realidad es que para mi toda esta historia es serotonina pura así que seguro la pasé re bien leyendo los capítulos que estén en este volumen.

This volume was so full of angst and doubt😭. Akane, please don’t become controlling and insecure, Yamada only has eyes for you and you only. YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE HE LOVES.
That Satsuki girl, I don’t trust at all. She gonna try break them up I just know it.
Yamada and his lines😭😭, “If she isnt smiling there is no point” and “I am madly in love with you”. 🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭. The way he got sick just to assure that Akane keeps smiling and is happy😭😭 Take of yourself too love. I also love how he squashed any misunderstandings quickly instead of them dragging out and becoming bigger than they need to be.
Overall this volume is a lower tier 5 star because of the misunderstandings and doubt but still a 5 star nonetheless

Akane’s moment with her jealousy hit me hard, because it was so real. She had that flash of insecurity and honestly, who wouldn’t? Those feelings aren’t easy to just shake off but instead of letting it poison things, she took a step back, reflected and came back stronger. That maturity made her relationship with Yamada feel even more solid, like they’re both choosing to nurture what they have instead of letting fear chip away at it. As for Yamada—oh my god, Yamada… when they asked if she was being controlling, his answer just knocked the air out of me. He didn’t get defensive or dismissive, he just calmly said it didn’t bother him and then, instead of making it about himself, he said as long as Akane’s smiling, nothing else matters. TEARS IN MY EYES RN !!!
This volume is a perfect mix of realistic emotions and the kind of romance that makes you believe in patient, intentional love. I swear, these two bring me pure happiness.

Anake se amiga con la Senpai, y ella vuelve a creer en el amor por ellos :3, Akane cuida a su novio y él continúa preguntando por su bienestar, la abraza y no mide su fuerza, a lo que Akane ríe diciendo que su amor es muy fuerte y Yamada SÍ, ESTOY LOCAMENTE ENAMORADO DE TI, ella le confiesa que no debe mentir por su bienestar y le deja en claro que ve cosas que él cree que no, él piensa en como no entendía el amor, pasar horas en fila por algo, los aromas dulces o pasar día y noche con alguien, pensaba que el amor era una pérdida de tiempo, pero ve a Akane sonreír y no piensa más en eso, se acurruca en su regazo y un te quiero lo pone a dormir :3, la Senpai cuenta su historia, el amigo y Akane la consuelan y le hacen saber que la culpa es de él, mientras Momo y Yui qué andan en citas aksja, se topan a dicho vato y lo manda al diablo Momo mi vieja :)), en el juego Akane con Luka, que la cuida y guía, Runa la acusa con Yamada de estarlo engañando aksjak y el niño ni se inmuta :))), pero se ve lindo con coleta :3, e igual después como que se incomoda un poco, pero nada grande, Luka le pide a Akane ser pareja :3 en juego :(, Momo y Yui le dan consejos que la hacen pensar demasiado y amo verla delirando y a Yamada mood pánico por escuchar casamiento ajsjaj, todo el gremio dice babosadas, y Kamoda es el único que ayuda :)), Eita le tira a Yamada hasta descolocarlo y ganarle en un juego aksjak, no son precisamente celos, pero si se quedo pensando seriamente aksja, Akane sigue pasando tiempo con Luka, una misión se les complica, Yamada la ayuda y Eita y Kamoda terminan el trabajo, Luka aparece y es un ser bellísimo. Yamada mood preocupado, territorial?, aunque le preocupa que Akane salga en short tan noche, no se lo prohíbe y solo la cuida, tanto del frío como de pendejos.
Reunión de gremio, Luka se une, sus pensamientos tan bonitos de Akane :3, Runa obvio celosa, Luka tiene un flechazo con Akane y admiración por Yamada, Akane emocionando a Luka sin querer, Yamada salvandolo porque sabe que Akane no capta qué es un hombre también ajdjsj, Luka da el paso con Runa, Runa sigue los consejos de Akane y se hacen amiguitos :3. Otro día mientras descansan, Akane quiere jugar y toca uno que le enviaron su equipo de profesionales de tipo colegial ajsjaj, amo verlo en pánico, tapandole los ojos y distrayendola con otro juego ajsja, amo verlos abrazados jugando juntos :3.
Vemos un poco de Akane en prepa, sus ex amigos, algo sobre una cicatriz y nuevo personajeeee, tiene reencuentro de estudiantes, así que regresa a casa, no sin antes bonitos momentos, besos, abrazos, sonrisas y cosas preciosas :3, en casa se reencuentra con Takaya, ex compañero y claro man interesado en ella, ojalá me regalen drama, parece ser que a pesar de que la quiere se siente culpable por un accidente en moto que tuvieron, razón de su cicatriz, en la reunión todos hablan del amor y culpa de Takaya, de como Akane no se da cuenta y sobre sus pasados, ay Takaya estas bien chulooo, lastima precioso, tu nombre no es Yamada, alguien persigue a Akane mientras habla con Yamada, pero Takaya y su hermana la ayudan, el man intenta seguir ayudando, pero la hermana se da cuenta rápidamente de sus intenciones, así que ella se propone a hacer todo por él, Yamada aun preocupado por Akane, la va a buscar para que no viaje sola y su hermana lo conoce y le dice a su mamá AJAJAJAJAJAJAJA, lo invitan a casa y amo a toda su familia con el niño ajsja, en especial al papá que trata a sus niñas como bebés, celoso, nervioso y al final resignado, amo.
Y al anochecer invitan al novio de la hermana y a Takaya, creando algo de incomodidad pues Akane ya sabe lo que siente y Yamada se confunde un poco por la expresión de Akane.
Que ganas de verte celoso :))))))

Really loved this one. It was nice seeing some vulnerability from Akane, along with character growth on her part. She still has fears to work through, and because communication game is strong in this series, she doesn't hold on to it alone for long. You go, girl! So strong <3 Was neat to see more of Yamada's perspective on things as well. Plus just maturity all around, it's so good ;o; <3

While Akane is encouraging of Yamada to expand his friend group and meet up with others, she is surprised by her reaction when she sees him with another woman. Her fears bubble to the surface as she tries to push away the doubt and trust in her boyfriend.
Akane also goes to visit her family, checking in on her mother, and deepening her understanding and bond with her sister. While Akane is making more frequent trips to her family on the weekends, her and Yamada end up making time for dates online.
One weekend, as Yamada is helping a friend move, however, it seems the busy schedule catches up with him and he catches a cold, leading to Akane finally having the chance to properly meet and speak with Satsuki.
Satsuki's character is another lovely one. Goodness, I'm glad the 'drama' in this series is so...normal. Everyone is adults, nothing is blown out of proportion, there is healthy communication, respect and understanding for past traumas, and genuine care from everyone. I appreciate that she brought up how boundaries and restrictions can be unhealthy at times. (It is definitely at /minimum/ a yellow flag if your partner doesn't want you hanging around with others out of jealousy! So I don't blame everyone for assuming Yamada was in a not-so-great situation.) I was leaning that direction with Akane, getting a little nervous about it, though it seems like something she's be able to work through. I'm glad relationships, including friendships, are treated so maturely in this series. Satsuki definitely seems like she'll be a great friend for Akane. :) (I also loved the group of them getting together and reaffirming Satsuki that she is an awesome person and deserved better than her trash ex.)
Momo is also a queen. We stan women who protect women.
Also must I say as usual that the art is just wonderful. Gosh, some panels I just sit on because they are so pretty. Even simple ones seem to have gotten so much attention and care. Such inspiring work for sure!

La gelosia è il tema principale di questo volume. Già perché il nostro Yamada inizia l'università e finisce per attirare, suo malgrado, l'attenzione delle compagne, che subito gli corrono dietro mentre lui non mostra il benché minimo interesse. Le cose prendono una piega un tantino diversa quando Akane lo vede in giro con una di queste ragazze, una situazione del tutto innocente ma che alimenta la gelosia della nostra protagonista e la sua paura di essere di nuovo messa da parte. La cosa fantastica è la parte finale del volume, con Akane che è diventata amica di questa ragazza 🤣 nel mezzo si vede il modo in cui Akane e Akito si confrontano - la prima, dopo una reazione iniziale di panico, sa che deve imparare a gestire certi atteggiamenti, dopotutto sa che si può fidare di Yamada e dei suoi sentimenti. Akito, dal canto suo, è innamorato perso di Akane, farebbe qualsiasi cosa per lei: l'importante è vederla felice, ergo sarebbe pure disposto a evitare qualsiasi contatto con il resto della popolazione femminile. E senza vederla come una costrizione. Ovviamente anche Akane sa che questa sarebbe una reazione esagerata e quindi cerca di comportarsi in maniera più matura.
Devo essere onesta: all'inizio non avrei dato due lire a questa storia, soprattutto per via del personaggio di Akane - diciamo che nei primissimi volumi, non mi aveva fatto una bellissima impressione. Fortunatamente mi sono dovuta ricredere e sono contenta di non aver abbandonato la nave 😁 Yamada si è rivelato essere un personaggio molto più interessante del previsto e mi sta piacendo molto il modo in cui si sta sviluppando il rapporto tra i due. Forse non sarà la storia più originale in circolazione, ma per ora mi sento di promuoverla 😎

De Mashiro
Dans ce 8e tome, Yamada arrive fraîchement à l'université, une nouvelle étape importante pour ce couple qui évolue doucement dans la vie d'adulte.
Yamada ne passe pas inaperçu, cela semble inquiéter Akane, qui a toujours un peu ce manque de confiance en elle et en ses qualités.
Dans ce tome-là, j'avais l'impression que l'auteur nous montre une autre facette de Yamada qui a vraiment pris du Galion au fur et à mesure des tomes.
Dans ce tome, nous découvrons un peu plus la famille d'Akane. Elle eut un moment de frayeur avec sa maman qui a eu un problème de santé. À son retour chez elle, Akane comprend que sa sœur a eu extrêmement peur et elle fait tout pour la rassurer au maximum.
J'ai senti une petite pression inconsciemment de sa sœur sur Akane dû à son absence de chez ses parents.
Nous découvrons aussi les nouveaux amis de Yamada, qui deviennent en quelque sorte aussi après plusieurs pages les amis d'Akane.
Nous retrouvons aussi, la peur et la sensibilité d'Akane qui bien qu'elle soit plus âgée que Yamada a toujours peur d'être rejeté ou d'être plaqué. J'ai vraiment trouvé ça mignon que Yamada essaye à tout prix de la rassurer même s'il est parti parfois un peu loin pour la rassurer.
C'est toujours un plaisir de lire cette saga qui me fait sourire et donne aussi des bonnes petites leçons de vie.
Les personnages évoluent au fur et à mesure des tomes ce qui donne l'envie de continuer à lire ce manga pour découvrir les aléas de la vie de ce petit couple adorable.

C'est toujours un plaisir de lire cette saga qui me fait sourire et donne aussi des bonnes petites leçons de vie.
Les personnages évoluent au fur et à mesure des tomes ce qui donne l'envie de continuer à lire ce manga pour découvrir les aléas de la vie de ce petit couple adorable.

Volume 7 chapters 63-74 complete!
The sleep deprivation for an annoying neighbor is relatable, but moving this man to paranoia is wild!
This volume was a bit ✨spicy✨. Yamada and Akane's interactions are genuinely clear and straightforward with each other. The communication they have together is goals.
All in all, my favorite chapter probably had to be 71. It's endearing to see Tsubaki start moving on from Yamada and enjoy Akane's company wholeheartedly without reservations. I'm 100% shipping Tsubaki and her guy friend together. He really loves and cherishes Tsubaki's feelings above all else.
Volume 8 chapters 75-85 complete!
Ah gotta love the character development of the senpais we meet in this volume. I love the communication both Yamada and Akane have with each other. Though Akane does go off the deep end, the patience Yamada has is amazing. I love how attentive Akane is along side how perspective she is to change. Its one of her best qualities. It really is super wholesome how both of them truly love and care for the other.

By this point these characters are part of my life now so I wouldn't trust my ratings or reviews because objectivity has left the building, guys!
I loved this volume. I do not mind misunderstandings in romance - I actually live for them and this volume has plenty, but it also has those small moments when you see people that are together and the things they know about each other without the other one noticing like how she notices he did not really like her new perfume even though he said it's nice. It's just super super cute!!

One of my favorite volumes so far, especially chapter 80! The way that they both communicate their thoughts and miscommunications is so refreshing to see in romance stories.
The way this story conveys emotions is done so beautifully. The characters, or more so Akane, doesn't deny her feelings of fear and jealousy. They're human, we're human, and those moments will come. But, Yamada always listens when these moments appear, taking a moment to reflect and ask if it's really bothering her.
COMMUNICATION IS HOTTTTT ❤️
