There are some parenting/family self help type books where you read them and think, okay that sounds great for the author's family, but I just don't see that happening in mine. The tips and suggestions are just so not going to be a good fit with your family/parenting style.

But this book by George Durrant felt like a perfect fit for our family. It was an easy read, with helpful ideas for how to keep the fun in family life and thereby be a happy family. This one deserves a re-read.

This was a fun, easy-to-read book about family time and togetherness. I really enjoyed this author's take on several issues, especially communication and family activities. He discusses everything from family finances to chastity to grandparenting, but it is all done with a warm, encouraging tone and lots of positive suggestions and ideas.
