Marking Time

She married her husband and had two children. She continued writing and attempted to be published. When an agent returned her submission for the third time she gave up.
Always the romantic, the stories came with a vengeance after marrying her wife. Her biggest fan, (other than her mother) her wife, Tirzah, decided these needed to be published. First self-published then contacted by a publisher this is a dream come true for Sherryl.

I loved everything!
Each installment has a different couple as main characters. We follow their story, their ups and downs and meet new women. The Group of friends grows with each story. I find this a very strong and thrilling part of the series. Again, this is a story full of excitement. I’m so glad there are still 3 more stories to read from this series. I'm by far not done with these wonderful women.

Fan of series
Since I accidentally read book 5 before this one. This one make that book make since. I love this whole series. I really like how each book brings each character to the front. I really enjoyed the story of Raine and Nat. Also the other two. I plan to keep this series on my kindle. I definitely recommend this book.

This book also has two main stories, meaning four main characters but with a whole gang rooting/supporting them, once again, a lot of people in one story.
Something that both main stories share is the unstable exes. Reading about that drains you.
One of the MCs has a Latinx ascendent so the author tried to write in Spanish. I’m a native Spanish speaker, for me was difficult to understand what was tried to say, at the beginning you could see the author's effort regarding the Grammar and Spelling but at the end it was not good.
Then there's a first time for one of the couples and that was not of my favorite scenes just because I found it some kind of not sensitive enough considering that for one of them was their first time with a woman.
The other main couple brought a lot of drama and to believe in things you are not necessarily a believer.

If you liked the other books in this series, you will like this one. My favorite lesbian crew is back with a couple of new additions and sweet love stories. The editing improves a bit with each book that's released so that's a definite plus.

The full crew of people are in this book plus new person and introduced to person in next book. The cops sure have their hands full with major personal problems that affect their relationships. This book was better but characters could be written a bit more in depth.

I made it to book 4 and I can’t read these anymore. Books read like a straight author wrote them. Every character is the same, butch-femme; masculine -feminine dynamic, someone is broken and needs rescued from their inner self & someone is the hero. Does the author have any type of gay circle? There’s more to gaydome than these restrictive boxes and labels. Regurgitated story over and over. I see they are popular, but it’s because we all lust to see our people reflected in print. Representation! But these characters are just a SMALL portion of the community and are super traditional stereotypes. She’s a good writer but these just remind me of some straight dude with little grasp on the lesbian world.
Please expand your horizons- there are more than butches and femmes or those who need to have a relationship “save” them. 🙄

Making time is for sure my favorite thus far in this series, I loved both the main characters relationship but my heart hurt just the same along with Kashena's realization she was leaving those she most loved (Sierra and Colby) are her life and horrible reality of not being able to protect them as her ancestors foretold her future. I will admit I had a tears in my eyes more than once and the lump in my throat matched Kashen's when she felt she was losing Sierra. Jealousy and hatred are the most powerful of evil and in this volume it was in full evidence and was glad on the 2nd story line between Raine and Natalia proving that love is patient, caring and understanding. I really liked this one.

Another fantastic edition to this book series by Sherryl D Hancock. They really have a way with writing a book that enriches the characters, their relationships and the people who are around them.
Each book has so far been a well written and engaging book about powerful women in charge and the romances they start. Not to mention the action and mystery elements to these books. It’s really amazing to read. It’s both gripping and satisfying to read.
A beautiful ending as always and I look forward to read the next instalment. Please do give this book a go. It’s so worth reading! ❤️

I love these fast moving incredible women by Sherryl Hancock. This is my favorite in the series. Rains and Natalia story is heartfelt and healing. Sierra and Kashena have some angst but resolved quickly. The women Sherryl Hancock create are marvelous, strong, and inspiring. I truly LOVE this series and have and will be rereading as years go by.

More Awesome
This is the fifth book in the series that I've read in the series and am unable to put it down once I start reading. Even though they characters are the same, the stories are different. The characters are constantly in some sort of quandary, and it takes the rest of the team to fight off the bad guys. Love this series.

We are introduced to a new couple and watch how their relationship develops. At the same time we get reaquainted with the rest of the crew from previos books. Hancock is a master at devloping new characters and weaving their relationships into a story. This relationship was a little different since neither chracter was decidedly "butch", in fact the aggressor was the "femme". Interesting twist.

Redundant Series
The story line in this series is the same throughout books 0-4 so far. The author also over uses the phrase "she canted her head" a lot in each book. I initially enjoyed the WeHo series, but I'm tired of reading the same book with a different title.

Lots of folks and couples to keep track of but gosh darn it, I am enjoying this series. These women (and one guy J) know how to kick some butt and take care of business. They also know how to give love and be loved. Sweet!

Another Great Book
As always Sherryl Hancock has knocked a book out of the ballpark. Everytime I read one of her books it draws me in like I'm really there. The WeHo Series will draw you in. I would recommend it to anyone who want something excellent to read.

Kinda bugs me
This one bugs me. I'm rereading the series and it sucks to see all that Rains goes through only for Natalia to screw her over in a later book for the sake of drama on the author's part.

well done!
Well done story! Raine and Nat had very well developed characters and story line. Lots of sweet, endearing as well as suspenseful action!
The same goes for Kash and Sierra, I liked their storylines and suspenseful action sequences!
All in all, a well done story!

Justice is Served Lesbian Style
What a wild ride this book is. I love all the great lesbians in law enforcement and/or the legal system. Justice is definitely a lady in the WeHo series.

Loved the couples
The characters have full rich backgrounds. Enjoyed how this story focused on two couples. The love stories had adventure and suspense.

Definitely became a fan.
I like this series because although new main characters are introduced in each story, the supporting cast involves a growing group of friends the reader can't help but like from previous books. It's nice to keep up with their continued relationships.

Excellent!
I loved this book. Excellent continuation of the series. You really need to read the preceding book to get the enjoyment out of this one. Great characters, strong women, both physically and mentally. Sherryl D. Hancock is a welcome addition to the lesfic scene.

Good book in the weho series
I still say when I lived in Weho, I never met anyone this sane or unplastic as the characters in this book except Dr one and I was so jaded I didn't recognize quality. . Great romantic read, I'm glad I never dated a law officer they seem to get hurt a lot in these books. It must be hard on their partners.
