3 books22 followersHi, I'm Sarah Hardy. The Author of When Past & Present Collide, Never Give Up and Love at the Inn. I'm 34 (shhh!), and I live in Mid Wales with my family. For me, reading was an escape from the long hours in work and being a mummy. I had always wanted to write my own book, but with working 60 hours a week, looking after house and children. Well, let's say, writing wasn't even a possibility. Just over 2 years ago I had to leave work due to heart failure and for me, what best time to write. But again, something else came up. I needed heart surgery, so my book was put on hold again. Last year I made a promise that my book would get finished and I'm so excited to say it was.

First of all, i adore this cover! Beautiful.
I love good angst, so this one was just my kind of a book :) that kind of a book that gets you in the beginning and you just can not put her down!
It's pretty short, but i just think that it was enough. I love that this author can tell story so big with a small amount of words.
I won't retail you anything, i don't like when people do that cause you never know is someone ok with reading spoilers. But i what i can say is that this
book is worth of every penny. I love dual POV's and time traveling is always a great choice. I love that everything that's written, every word, every emotion,
every single thing can either cut you deep or heal you (you'll know what i mean when you read it). I'm just sorry that there isn't paperback cause i would love to buy one and put him with my others cherished books.
This is a real life story. Heart shattering life story. I think that every person needs, at least one time in life, read something like this. After this,
trust me, you don't take anything for granted.
Cherish what you have, cause you never know what can happen! And never think that you'll get second chance always.
Sometimes life throws punches that can be fatal, but sometimes, just sometimes, that silly thing called love comes,and defends you and in the end, saves you.

I was a bit confused at the beginning but when I read more I began to understand more. I couldn't stop reading because I wanted to know what will happen. This was good book. :)

Ella didn’t mean to fall in love, she didn’t know when she took the job that her boss Jacob would be everything she had ever wanted in a man or that he would feel the same way about her. Things are not always as straight forward as they seem and when someone is seeking revenge secrets are revealed causing a lot of heartache.
Ella and Jacob have decided to make another go of it; they are getting their lives back on track when tragedy strikes. Their whole world gets turned upside down again, with no answers or true reasons as to why it’s happened. Time is not on their side and it is slowly slipping away. Will this tear them apart again or bring them closer together?
Love isn’t always as easy as it seems. When you get given a second chance and pasts are forgiven you think that this time nothing can come between you. You never expect tragedy to strike and when it does you don’t for one minute think that those closest to you are keeping secrets.
From start to finish Sarah Hardy keeps you on your toes. For a short story it has the right amount of detail and suspense. It does not lack detail or have too much. You can feel each and every emotion as Ella and Jacob are living them. This story reminds you that sometimes the actions of those you love can have the most devastating consequences and change your life forever.
If you love a story full of suspense and emotion then you will love this book.

WOW what can I say,
I loved the novel by this up and coming author Sarah hardy the way this lady writes is brilliant this debut novel had my on the edge of my seat throughout this book, wondering what was going to happen next ,
This Rollercoasters of a story was so emotional heartbreaking you felt there anger heartache and grief and kept you guessing right to the end of the story ,
I really enjoyed the POV from Jacobs side and Ella's too , they was madly in love with each other but the heartbreaking situation was tearing them apart , they just couldn't seem to Connect with each other because the situation that life had dealt them ,
My heart broken for Jacob and Ella in this emotional story,
Totally and utterly enjoyed this book and was definitely a 5 star read in my eyes,
I will looked forward to reading anything Sarah hardy writes she is an amazing writer ,
I would highly recommend this book to any one, has its one of those books that stays in your mind well after you've read it ,

As a parent you feel exactly what the hero and the heroine are going trough and you pray that you will never be in their skin. So this is really presented gloriously.
I was questioning myself the whole time: who did this and why?! Never saw it comming...
I liked the bit**y attitude of Ella but I felt so much more for Jacob. I felt so sorry for him. He'd been 'hit on the head' so many times... He didn't deserve nothing of it. I really enjoyed this book.

I was lucky enough to win a couple of this wonderful debut novel. It was truly a brilliant read and I will definitely be buying the follow up to this story. I cant wait to read more about Ella and Jacob. I love the way this story was told going backwards and it was so emotional. I would recommend it all readers.

I won a signed paperback in a giveaway and I'm so glad I got to read this brilliant story. I devoured it in a few hours and I loved it. I loved how it starts halfway through the story, it really grabbed my attention right from the start, then gradually showed you the whole picture. I was a little sad at the end as I didn't expect it to end the way it did.

What happens when past & present collide. Ella never meant to fall in love with Jacob. With their pasts it makes it hard in the present to have a relationship. Can they move past it & make things work. This is a amazing love story. It shows the struggle that two people have to follow their hearts.

LOVED this book. You don't need to be a parent to feed the pain Ella and Jacob are in. I loved the format of working backwards towards and event and how it draws you in and keeps you reading. Jacob is just adorable and I love Ella's ballsy character.

No spoilers from me. ...this book had me from the start..it do emotional and heartbreaking at times you really do feel for all the characters in the book l loved it worth more than 5 stars its a must read

From page 1 I was hooked. This book will take you on one hell of a rollercoaster with your emotions, anger, pain, love, heartache I felt as if I experienced them all but couldn't put the book down. Exceptionally written & I would totally recommend it

Not what I expected when I started to read WP&PC I really enjoyed the different POVs and the past talk to tie in with present. Tried guessing who could of done it but shocked me when I found out. Fully enjoyed Sarah hardys writing look forward to more.

Ella and Jacob's story will have you hooked from the first paragraph. An emotionally charged heart clenching roller coaster of a story, that will keep you guessing right to the end.

Not impressed
I am not sure what I was expecting but this book lacked everything. I felt totally unconnected to the book and struggled to even finish it. I know everyone is different but this book just did not do anything for me.
