☆☆☆ 3-3.25 Loving Eden Stars ☆☆☆

LovingEden

Loving Eden by T.A. Foster is the follow up book of Kissing Eden. Although I didn't read Kissing Eden, the author did a pretty good job allowing readers to get a sense of the connection between Grey and Eden. I do, however, wished I read the first book since there were secondary characters who I was not very familiar with. And also I would have like to know a bit more on how Eden and Grey's strong connection began.

As far as Loving Eden goes, this book follows Eden's journey as she moves to Texas to be with Grey. As the pair settle into their new life, the couple faces realistic problems of living together and adjusting to this new life as a couple. On top of that, new obstacles and challenges stand in their way that could threaten their relationship. How will Eden adjust to this new life in Texas with Grey? Did she make the right decision in moving?

Overall, Loving Eden is a short sweet read of two people adjusting their lives around each other. A story of a couple coming together and making a home together and figuring how to balance work, life and love. It was a HEA conclusion to Eden and Grey's story.

New to this author, I loved her style of writing. With humour and warmth in every chapter this is a feel good read. It is a second installment but with flashbacks to the previous book I didn't feel lost but will backtrack and read the first one!

This really is about a long distance relationship and how they overcome that obstacle by moving in together but did they rush things? It explores the common issues in taking the plunge and living with one another. It highlights the issues of learning to live in each others spaces and how they overcome them. It is the uncommon story of how the couple progress after their HEA.

It was a heart warming, well written book. With hot hot sex scenes "our bodies were starving for one another. The kind of I'm going go rip every stitch of clothing off you starving", I enjoyed every page.

Of course there are added troubles in the form of Mason Lachlan and Eden's friend Taylor. An excellent plot twist that increase the drama and help pull the characters together....without any spoilers the ending leaves you with a feel good glow.

I gave this a four star rating ...probably because I read the series out of order and felt this one was a little short so an extra bit!

Loving Eden was a good ending to Kissing Eden and Grey and Eden’s story. I liked but didn’t love it as much as I did Kissing Eden. There was that spark of first love in Kissing Eden that I really liked that Loving Eden didn’t have. Even with that being said I still liked Loving Eden and was very happy that we get to see were Eden, and Grey’s relationship has gone and I was really happy where it concluded.

Loving Eden picks up a few months after were Kissing Eden ended. Eden has packed up her life in North Carolina and is moving to South Padre, TX. Starting a new life in South Padre is going to come with a lot of surprises for Eden and Grey. Living together, keeping the Palms hotel running and an unexpected stranger will keep them on their toes.

This is a must read for anyone who has read and loved Kissing Eden.

Loving Eden is the second book after Kissing Eden. Grey and Eden’s story continues. It was not the happy ending I was expecting. As a matter of fact, the couple seems to hit a rough patch. Eden moved from NC to TX, where she is excited to start her new life with him.

Things are not all sunshine and roses for the couple. They are facing a bunch of problems they never even saw coming. The life that Eden expected is not what the life she is getting. There are time when both Eden and myself wondered why she even moved to Texas.

I am hoping that there is another book coming in this series. There is not really a happy ever after in this one, which is what I was expecting. It seems like it was a book 2 in a 3 book series.

I loved Kissing Eden so much. I thought that Loving Eden would continue on with their HEA. I was a little disappointed that it didn't. I am hoping there is a 3rd book, do I can see Eden and Grey happy and down the read in the future.

After loving the first book, I plunged into this one right away. It was nice, seeing the characters again, but it didn't sweep me off my feet.

Eden goes living with Grey but they have to face more than an issue and things get strained. That was problem number one. Grey was sullen and cranky 80% of the book. Sure, then he turns all sweet and sexy and all in all his character is really appealing, with its humanity and realness.

The plot was basic and the ending hints at more installments. The only thing that really bothered me was that the ending was also rushed. My e-book reader stated there were still lots of pages instead I got only preview. That's something that will never cease to piss me off.

Anyway, I would totally reccomend it to those who read the first. It gives you a deeper insight in their domestic life, even with some struggles. And I sure will keep reading the scene. "A Very Grey Christmas" is next on my to-read list.

We last saw Grey coming to visit Eden and bringing her luggage that was finally found. From there it moves on to Eden packing up and moving to Texas. Things should have been good from there but we should have been expecting Grey to fly off the handle again.
He jumps to conclusions before even finding out what is going on, which is a pain in the ass. An unexpected visitor throws a monkey wrench in their plans, plus trying to make Grey jealous.
If I was Eden I would have walked out and let him crawling on his knees to get her back. He just couldn't communicate to her and let her know what he was feeling without getting mad. By the time he would say something Eden would instantly forgive him. No excuse to been as ass and then letting him off with a casual I'm sorry.
What's up with Taylor and Mason? of was that just a vacation fling?

I am so excited that Eden and Grey got another book. I loved Kissing Eden.  Grey is my favorite of T.A. Foster's male characters, and I just can't get enough of him. Not to mention, it is hard enough to find a sequel in new adult contemporary romances that follows the same characters. I loved that we got to go back and visit with Grey and Eden some more. The Story starts out with Eden packing up and moving across the country to move in with Grey. I was super excited to get to see the two of them back at the palm for some fun times, but things are not such smooth sailing for them. Living with a boyfriend for the first time is tough enough, but throw in an injury that makes it hard to work and a lawsuit from a long lost family member on top of that, and things can get ugly really fast.

Loving Eden was a quick read that drew me in from the first page. It helped that I already knew and loved the characters, so I was rooting for them to get through all of this BS so they could get back to their happy ending. I will admit that I was super interested in the law suit, and I do wish that had been described a little more. (not for the stories sake, it was gone into enough detail for that, but rather for my sick amusement. Wills and Will contests are kind of my thing.) Never fear though, I thought the way everything resolved itself was perfect as it was.

I was more than a little wary of Mason when he showed up. I am super biased though. I would be on Team Grey even if he started spitting in babies faces. Probably. So I knew I wasn't going to like anything Mason had to offer. I also knew that while I liked Eden a ton, if she so much as wasn't on team Grey for a split second, I would have turned on her. In Loving Eden we got to visit again with all of the colorful locals, including seeing Marin and Pike get married! The wedding was something fun and nice to break up the more serious things going on in the book. And so was Eden's friend Taylor coming to visit. Taylor got on my nerves a few times. I was ok with her by the end of the book, but I just didn't think she was being a great friend all the time to Eden.

Fans of Kissing Eden will really enjoy Loving Eden as well. Grey is so perfect. I want more, more, more of him. I want a ring tone of him saying Darlin' to me. For real. I will fully admit that I have it bad for him. I love Eden and Grey, and I want more from them. I think the end of this book set up a good situation for a third book. Wink wink! BUT I am always Team Grey. So I will cut anyone that comes between Grey and what he wants. (just a friendly, albeit confusing note to T.A. Foster asking for no love triangles. haha) If you have not had the pleasure of meeting Grey yet, read Kissing Eden. You can thank me after. :)

Loving Eden is the sequel to Kissing Eden by T.A. Foster and continues the story of Grey and Eden. I was excited to get more of these two after reading the first book and was really looking forward to catching up on where they were. While I did like this book, it wasn't as good as the first in my opinion. This one just felt like it was missing something and didn't pack quite the same punch that the first story did.

After returning home for awhile, Eden decides to pack up her life and move back to Texas to be with Grey. She intends to move in with him and continue to get the hotel that his grandfather left him back on its feet and better than ever. She sets out on a cross country trip alone, to be with the man she loves. When she arrives things are going well between her and Grey, until a stranger threatens all of their plans. As Grey and Eden try to navigate the changes in their lives, they struggle more than ever before with how to deal with life and their relationship together. Can they get through all the obstacles that life throws their way, or will it be too much for them to handle and drive them apart?

I really liked Eden and Grey in the first book, and they were both still really great in this one as well. I felt like Grey had a lot of mood swings in this book, and that he seemed to doubt Eden at times. He wasn't the same as I remembered and wasn't sure whey he seemed to run so hot and cold with her. Eden was great in this book as well, and I love how smart and independent she is. She was determined to do what she needed to and didn't listen to what others thought that she should do. I was glad that she was able to stand on her own two feet, even while being in a committed relationship. It was great to see such a strong female character. These two still had chemistry between them, and I still could tell what a great couple they made.

My biggest issue with this book though was that it just felt like something was off between Eden and Grey. They didn't seem to have that undeniable connection that I felt in the first book, and while they were great together at times it didn't feel consistent to me. There seemed to be a disconnect between the two of them and it almost seemed like they weren't together or were on the verge of breaking up. I just wanted to shake Grey and tell him to get over himself, because it really felt like most of the blame landed on his shoulders. I wish that these two would have been more on the same page and that they would have tackled their problems together rather than doing things separately. I think that it was nice to get to see these characters again and how their future was unfolding though. It just wasn't everything that I had been hoping for with these two. I definitely recommend reading Kissing Eden before starting Loving Eden as I think you need to see how they began before where they are at the start of this book. I will look for more from T.A. Foster in the future.

LOVING EDEN is the continuation of the love story between Grey and Eden in KISSING EDEN. I am huge fan of the “ever after” stories that happen once the guy gets the girl and love is declared. This “ever after” story delivered in every possible way, adding it as yet another favorite book by TA Foster! The beginning of this book starts months later after Eden and Grey’s reconciliation in North Carolina at the end of KISSING EDEN, when Eden is making a cross country road trip to move to Texas to start a new life with Grey. When she arrives, they live in a perfect bubble for a little while and then there seems to be one hit after another. It starts off as little things and then the an unforeseen person enters Grey’s life, causing mayhem and frustration, which almost seems like too much for this new couple to bear.
Throughout this story, I admired the perseverance of Eden. When Grey is hurt or being a moody man, she takes the reins and tries to make decisions and keep things going in the right direction. She is a young woman who had lived life on her own terms for quite a while, which means that co-habiting and making life choices with another person are foreign concepts for her. Often times, she makes decisions without Grey’s input, not realizing the consequences and frustration she might cause him. Yet she picks up and makes the best of each situation, coming up with new ideas on how to make the motel business thrive. Her heart is in the right place and all she wants is for their relationship and the motel to flourish. She loves Grey but there are insecurities that have weaseled their way into her subconscious. Watching her battle her mind, emotions, and situation was impressive, displaying her as a true heroine of this story! I loved how she has grown from the first book and become a strong and courageous woman.
Grey was, as always, sweet and sexy moody man. Quite often I wanted to smack him upside the head. He was living in his head and not fully embracing the new life he was living with Eden. You never doubt his love and affection for her, but he allows his circumstances (which are a valid overwhelming thing for him) to wedge a gap between him and Eden. It is all about communication! Once he takes the steps to talk to Eden about everything going on in his head, they become a force to be reckoned with. It is an example of a couple that is truly stronger together than apart!
I felt like this book displayed a very realistic view as to what a new couple would go through when moving in together. They are trying to learn what their relationship looks like. Eden is sorting out her identity outside of the academic world. Grey is still grieving the loss of his grandfather and trying to make the Palm Springs Motel a successful business. All the individual turmoil and questions bleeds into their relationship, making it a bit rocky here and there, yet they always come back to each other and realize that this is where they belong: together.
I enjoyed every moment of this book. It was a wonderful conclusion that made me happy! Well written TA Foster! I cannot wait to see what you come up with next!

*Note I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review*

Loving Eden was a fun, quick read. I didn't realize it was part two of Eden and Grey's story, but I kind of liked that I didn't see them get together originally. I liked the idea of the story just starting up with what happens after. You do get flashes of how they met and became a couple and everything, but it wasn't too much. When I think about it I think the story, like what I would tell someone about it, it sounds just alright, but the execution was really great and I loved it. Right from the beginning I couldn't put it down and just really enjoyed reading this book. I am going to have to go back and read the first book now and see how Eden and Grey become a couple.

When this book opens Eden is moving to Texas to live with Grey. They haven't been dating that long, but the long distance is a bit much for them. Grey owns the motel Eden stayed at where they met, and Eden doesn't have anything tying her to where she lives so she decides to be the one to move. She was so sweet and kind and tried her hardest to help everyone and fix everything.

Grey is happy that Eden is there, but right away there is lot of drama from outside effecting their relationship. Even before then there were some warning flags. Really it just seemed like they moved in together too quickly. It seemed like maybe she should have moved closer and they could have continued to date for a while before making that step. Get to know each other better and work on their communication before taking the leap. They do work things out in the end, but it felt like a lot of the issues between them could have been avoided if they would have taken things slower. Still I liked them together and watching them work out their problems.

So this was a fun read watching Eden and Grey figure out how to live together and deal with issues. There are some background characters, her friend in Texas is getting married and Grey's uncle shows up, and they add a nice element to the story. Eden's friend from back home also comes to visit and I must say I did not like her that much. I mean what kind of friend starts dating the guy trying to ruin everything for Eden then gets angry when Eden isn't super happy she is with the guy who is trying to destroy everything Eden wants? I was just like dude, friend, what is wrong with you? But again I still enjoyed it. Eden still tried to be happy and nice and supportive of her friend. She is just such a good person. Of course everything works out in the end and it is just a really great read.

Much love, affection, and appreciation.

This story starts off after the first book in this series Kissing Eden.
Eden is driving down from Chapel Hill to South Padre to now begin living with Grey at the Palm. She expects nothing to go without a few bumps on the road, but what she doesn't prepare for is a whole ditch, making things definitely go awry. With newcomers at the Palm, out-of-the-blue relatives, and a wedding to attend, will Grey and Eden ever get to live there intended life together?

This book is one of those that are quaint and simplistic in story-telling. Less is more. This book is, in a way, a bunch of goodness with less material which I think is a great feat to accomplish as a writer. The plot in itself was not all that out there, it was a bit practical, although not all that predictable in some cases. There was conflict, but not enough to actually cause total chaos. Everything seemed totally fine and dandy even when things didn't go quite as planned, according to the characters' perspective.

Eden's persona was definitely something to envy, and cherish, and never taken for granted. She was in a way realistic in her choices, but very naive in others. But when it comes to love, there are no rules. Grey is much older, literally, but in the way he acts makes him seem much older. Take his position with the Palm for instance. Very manly, a bit of rough edges, good with his hands, smart, loyal, and a high sex drive are very promising attributes.

A bunch of things were brought to light. Under pressure, a lot of the characters had a moment, or two, when they just bugged out. Not uncommon. Many obstacles were overcome, and set upright. After Grey found about about his Grandfather and Uncle, it was obvious that Grey was effected, as was his Uncle. They both sort of felt the same but for different reasons that were practically two sides of the same coin.

Overall, this was a great read that I could not put down. Although this wasn't my favorite, considering I read Foster's Fly first, which is my favorite, it was nonetheless still very enjoyable and had tons of laughs and squeals throughout reading. I will always be looking forward to reading more of Foster's work.

Have you ever gotten to the end of a romance novel and just wished you had a bit more? I did when I read Kissing Eden, the first book in this series. It left me wondering if Grey and Eden make it - can they resolve the fact that Eden is in one state and Grey in another? In Loving Eden we get their continuing story and it was great catching up with them.

Eden is the predominant voice in this story and it starts with her traveling back to Texas with her belongings to move in with Grey and help run the hotel. She's both excited and determined to maintain her post-graduation independence. I like how she felt empowered to make the trip herself and she does quite well, even with a few minor mishaps.

One she's reunited with Gray things get a little interesting. While Eden is sure about her feelings toward him, she isn't always on even ground as they learn to live together. I really liked this post of the story, and it brought back some nice memories for me of when me and hubby were first living together. There's a bit of adjustment there and it's handled very nicely in Loving Eden.

Adding to the mix is the arrival of a surprise relative by the name of Mason Lachlan who lays claim to the Palm Palace. Most of the story centers around Mason's bid for the rundown hotel. He's a successful entreprenuer and wants to tear it down, much to Grey's dismay. Things are further complicated when Eden's friend Taylor comes to town and hits it off with Mason in a major way, potentially putting a rift in their friendship.

What I love about this series and T.A. Foster's writing in general is that she gives us a story that has just enough drama to make it interesting and she doesn't drag it out. Things get resolved in a believable way and Loving Eden concludes with a lovely wedding sequence that had me smiling.

Even though Loving Eden was a bit on the short side, and I would have loved a bit more, it was a sweet afternoon-sized read and I've really enjoyed this series overall. I hope we'll get to check in with Grey and Eden in the future. Loving Eden is a very nice first-love story, and I'd recommend this series.

Why I Picked It Up

I enjoyed the first book in Grey and Eden’s story and I was interested to see how them living together worked out.

Plot

Loving Eden starts with Eden moving from North Carolina to Texas in order to start her life post-gradatation with Grey. This installment was more interesting than I would have originally thought that it was. It was filled with drama and new and unexpected characters. There was romance and family drama which really broke up the drama well, as too much of the same type can be overwhelming. The plot got a bit tedious and slow at points but it kept my interest overall.

Leading Lady

Eden was in the process of trying to figure out her life as an adult while also dealing with being in a new state, living with a new guy, and having drama with said guy and his family. I thought she handled it well considering all that she was going through. Eden was never anything special of a character to me but she is definitely a relatable one and that was clear in the novel like it was in the first.

Leading Male

Grey was definitely as brooding and moody as he was in the first novel. In this novel he had to deal with a long lost relative showing up and wanting to take the hotel. So of course in the typical Grey-fashion, he kind of shut down. He was still sweet in this novel although I didn’t quite enjoy him as much in this novel due to the moodiness that he exhibited for a majority of the novel.

Romance

You could say that the relationship between Grey and Eden was on the rocks, but not in a detrimental way. They had some fights and stuff about Grey’s moodiness which you would expect. But consequently, this installment wasn’t as heavy on the romance as the first one. it was more of them trying to acclimate to each other and deal with what was going on with the motel.

Other Characters

As I mentioned above, we meet a long lost relative of Grey’s. I’m not going to stay much for fear of spoilers, but his appearance definitely stirred the pot a bit.

Conclusion

Loving Eden was a good contemporary read. Although it had its weak points in the plot, the drama definitely kept me interested and reading.

This is the continuation of the story of Grey and Eden. Sometimes making big leaps of faith will pay off and sometimes they don’t. it’s not easy taking the next step with anyone, it’s not all peachy keen like they make it seem on TV and T.A. Foster explores the hardships of moving on to the next level of a relationship.

Eden has made the move to Texas to be with Grey, that’s a big step and a scary step at that, but Eden has hope that this is all they need to be together in the same location to make their relationship stronger. They will both be working in the hotel together and of course living together. It’s definitely hard and at first things seems to go pretty smooth but then reality sets in and they are thrown through a few unexpected loops. There are new characters introduced to the series and then there are the classic characters that you couldn’t help but adore from the last book.

I can’t stress enough how hard it is moving in with someone and learning all their different nuances. Even though they were going through a difficult time you could see how much they cared about one another and that’s what helped them throughout the whole book, even when their honeymoon phase didn’t last but only a week before reality walked in. Literally.

Overall the book was short and sweet and made you think about things a little more. Their relationship is stronger than anything though and you really saw how evident that was throughout the book. I love the cover and the continuation of the story because you always wonder what happens after the couple seems to move off into the happily ever after. Great cute quick read and you should definitely get to know these two characters and of course their friends.

Reviewed on my blog, Becky on Books.

Loving Eden continues the story that Kissing Eden started, and really is geared toward people who have already read the first book. It's not that anything happens in book two that you won't "get" without having read the first, but you'll already have a better grasp of the characters and where they've been if you do. It's still an enjoyable read; I just think you'll get more out of it if you're already invested in the characters and their HEA.

Without having read Kissing Eden, I have to admit that for much of the book Grey doesn't appear in the most favorable light. Loving is told from Eden's fairly typical twenty-two-year-old point-of-view, and she spends a lot of time second guessing what's going on in his head and hoping she hasn't made a mistake by moving to Texas to be with him. She mourns the loss of the days the two of them spent in Kissing (doing a heck of a lot more than kissing), but reemerging insecurities keep her from confronting him and point-blank asking him what's going on for a lot of the novel, which gets a bit frustrating.

There's also a host of other factors that interfere with the plans that Eden thought she had for their lives, some good, some worrisome, and some that could be life-changing. Eden and Grey have a lot to deal with in this one.

Ultimately, a HEA is satisfactorily reached. Loving Eden is fairly typical New Adult fare--if you read and enjoyed Kissing Eden, this one is probably a sure bet.

Review:

Have you ever finished a book and wondered what happened after the happily ever after? Well, Ms. Foster gave us, readers, that chance to be once more inside Grey and Eden's "heads".

I had a good time reading Kissing Eden, so it wouldn't be a surprise that I was excited to read more about them. About their relationship. However, I had a much better time with the first book than with this one. It's true that one thing is starting a relationship with someone and the other is to start living with this person. And no less than moving from your city to a complete new one. So it's easy to assume that things won't be all sunshines and butterflies and that it would be much more what a real couple would live if we take Grey and Eden's past into account.

As the story progresses, the problems start to pile up and there are moments when you feel like the couple is about to break up. I felt kind of mislead by the title and was hoping to see the struggles of the couple, but having a happily-ever-after after finding a solution to their problems.

I look forward to more books from Ms. Foster and see if Grey and Eden can finally have their happily ever after.

Great read, though, I actually enjoyed the first book in this series more (Kissing Eden) maybe because the initial falling-in-love stages tend to be a bit more exciting. That being said, I always enjoy reading onwards about a couple--sometimes, I just hate when a story is left untold! Though it was based on an insta-love between Grey and Eden, this story had an interesting turn of events I didn't expect. Actually, for once, most of what I thought would happen, didn't!

I can say that I didn't hold Eden on the highest pedestal. I sort of looked at her character warily--who falls in love with a stranger so quickly and then moves across the country for him? It's all a bit crazy to me. However, my respect for her grew as she stuck by Grey through so much in Loving Eden. She may have made a crazy decision but she, at least, stuck by it and saw it through.

Grey, of course, was the brooding star of the show in this series. There's just so much to him that we don't know. I know I savoured every little bit that was learned as the book progressed. I think seeing someone, who's been dealt a shoddy hand in life, making life work for them is a refreshing change.

I'm a sucker for happy endings and with this book, I didn't seem to get it. It seemed to be a bit of a TBC ending so I'm hoping there's a third book down the line. I feel like Grey and Eden's story isn't really finished quite yet. That being said, Loving Eden definitely solidified a relationship that could have really gone either way after the first book. It was easy to get through, I would definitely recommend you read this if you liked Kissing Eden!

3 Stars!
I have loved all the books that I have read by T.A. Foster. I also enjoyed the first book to this series, Kissing Eden, but I didn't love this book as much as other books by T.A. Foster.
In my opinion I don't think this book was needed. I think this book could've been added to the first book. That is why I gave the book 3 stars. I think this book was too surrounded around the sex between the two characters that there could've been more to the story to make this book a stronger one.
What I did like about the book is seeing more of Eden and Grey. I love the two of them together. I love Grey and how determined he is with the Palm and how much he loves Eden. Their relationship has realistic problems that many people now-a-days face with long distance relationships. Also when people first move in with each other and the obstacles they face in this new environment.
I would recommend this book to people who want to see more about Grey and Eden's relationship and how they progress through the obstacles that they face in the book. This is a book I would've personally purchased if I wouldn't of got an ARC, so if you read the first book, you should read this book.
Even though I didn't love this book, I am excited for T.A. Foster's future books.

Loving Eden by T.A. Foster is a New Adult book and the follow-up to Foster’s Kissing Eden. Loving Eden tells the story of Grey and Eden as they navigate a long-distance relationship and, ultimately, Eden moving from her hometown to Texas to be with Grey. I’ll be honest and say that Eden and Grey’s life isn’t perfect – which is fine, because life isn’t perfect. They face many problems in their relationship when she moves to Texas and there were times that I, along with Eden, wondered why she’d even moved in the first place? Sometimes, Grey isn’t painted in a favorable light.

As I was reading, I found myself wondering if this was the second in a three book series but I don’t believe that Foster has plans for a third book. I think it would be nice to have a third book – there’s an HEA for Loving Eden but not the one I was expecting and I think there is more to Eden and Grey’s story. Lots of smexy times in Loving Eden, angst, and drama. I loved the dynamic between Grey and Eden as they move in together and have issues like all couples. That definitely felt real to me. All in all, Loving Eden was a good story that was a bit on the short side.

REVIEWING FOR SASSY DIVAS BOOK BLOG

After meeting Grey during a spring break visit to South Padre Island, Texas, Eden fell head over heels in love and decided to uproot her whole life to be
with him.

It was a rough road getting to Texas from North Carolina but she made it. Once there, everything doesn't exactly fall into place as she had hoped. Grey runs a motel that he inherited from his pops. Eden is working her hardest to turn things around and get more business booming. Things slowly start to happen, people come into their lives that may or may not be wanted. What do you do when you are blindsided and have to make a choice not knowing if you are making the right or wrong one? Who is going to be there for you if it doesn't go as you had hoped? What do you do when you best friend falls for the wrong guy? Can it work or will it all fall out of place?

"Isn't life full of detours?" - Mason

"I had been thrown more curveballs since I moved to South Padre than I could
count. What were two more?" - Eden

"I do love that place, no matter what a pain in the ass it is, but there's
something I love more and that's you." -Grey

This is the second book in the Kissing Eden series and I must say I liked this one a little better than the first book. In this read we see what happens after Grey and Eden decide what to do after their summer of fun. We see what happens when the summer ends and real life sets in. We see Eden as she moves to Texas to be with Grey and the aftermath of her decision. Just when you think life is going to give them a break someone from Grey’s past comes to throw a wrench into their plans and it will change everything.

In this read I saw more of a growth in Grey and I liked him a little more in this read than the previous one. We see a little more of his story and I came to understand why he was the way he was. And while he still wasn’t the ideal guy I wish he was I could see why Eden liked him. I saw glimpses of a guy who really does care for her and the passion he has for the people and things he loves and wants to protect.

This was a really good follow up and I actually liked this one more than the first which is rare for me. We see lots of the characters from the first and we meet some great new characters which make this book so good. This one made the series worth the read.

Loving Eden is the second book in the Kissing Eden Series. I did not read book one, but that didn’t matter. T.A. Foster did and amazing job filling you in and making this an easy to follow standalone book.

Eden has her bags packed and the U-Haul loaded for her move half way across the United States. She is finally taking the next step in her relationship and is moving in with Grey, the guy who swept her off her feet while vacationing in South Padre Island, Texas.

Grey has enlisted Eden’s help with turning the failing hotel he inherited around. With their relationship facing everyday hurdles and unexpected events they never saw coming, this is proving to be more difficult than they expected.

I am a huge fan of the HEA books. This book was that for me. Loving Eden was an effortless easy to read book. It flowed nicely and was fast paced. After reading this book I am dying to read the next. I want to know what happens to the couple, and their friends.

Will we get a book about Laura and Mason? God I hope so.

Loving Eden is a beautiful short love story between Eden and Grey.
A new college gradate Eden, at 22, embarks on a road trip for love, South Padre to be exact. She had met Grey on her Spring Break and they began a relationship. Grey Lachlan inherited the Palm Palace and its a diamond in the rough, but with the help of Eden it can become the prime vacation destination. Turmoil hits the beach front spot. And a jealous Grey can’t seem to feel threatened. This makes for a rocky spot for their relationship. Will these two be able to handle the what the tide brings in?

I enjoyed reading this short story about love and paradise. Characters were written well and the writing style was good. It is my understanding that this is part of a series. And I would have probably cared for the additional characters more, had I had the background. But all in all I enjoyed this read. 3.5 smooches for Loving Eden by T.A. Foster

Full Review at: What's Beyond Forks?

Loving Eden is the sequel to Kissing Eden by T.A. Foster. We already know how Eden and Grey met. Now, it's time for the hard part of making a relationship work. Eden packs up and moves in with grey, but it's not as easy as she thought it would be. Did she make a mistake? Did he? Of course, there's more to it i this story than just making the relationship work. There are more stresses to over come, especially when a new guy comes to town. After reading a romance like Kissing Eden, I always wonder if the couple will last. So, I really enjoyed getting more of Eden and Grey's story. Will they get their happy ending?

The ARC of Loving Eden by T.A. Foster was kindly provided to me by the author for review. The opinions are my own.

Even though Loving Eden is the 2nd novel in the Kissing Eden series, I didn't feel lost or left out. Loving Eden can be read as a stand alone novel.

Eden has packed up her life and moved across the county to Texas to be with Grey. This is a HUGE step in any relationship and I appreciated how Grey and Eden have real issues, it's not all hot sex and playing house. They have to grow and adapt to living together, and to making decisions together.

Rating: 4 out of 5 Stars. Eden and Grey deal with the surprise of Mason and fall more in love. Loving Eden had a happy ending but I hope Foster is planning on a third novel! I can't wait to see what's next for Eden and Grey.

I enjoyed this continuation of Eden and Grey’s story. Eden makes the move to Texas, joining Grey at the Palm Palace. Long distance relationships are hard but starting a life together can be difficult too. From the start with Eden’s cross country drive, I was turning the pages to get to her reunion with Grey and couldn’t stop reading until the very last page.

T. A. Foster gives us a realistic story that is very relatable with likable characters. We see Eden and Grey’s relationship deepening as both characters grow and develop. I’m hoping to read about a couple of secondary characters in a future story.

I am happy that Eden and Grey got another book and that we got to read more about them.

Loving Eden was quick‚ sweet and really funny continuation of Eden and Grey´s story. It was really great to watch these two together grow‚ to watch them fight together the challenges that were in their way and how they relationship deepens more as the story progresses. They are both likable and good developed characters and you can relate with them.

I am looking forward to read more from T.A. in the future.

I really wish I was given Kissing Eden, which is the 1st book. I felt like there was a lot of information I was missing, I may have been able to enjoy this more if I read them back to back. Also I felt like there was a lack of chemistry between Eden and Grey, there was some chemistry but not as much as I would have liked to have seen.

I won this book via Goodreads first reads giveaway. After reading the first book, I was excited to get into the second. I can say I will read the third as well! Great quick read. Eden was a little immature at times, but that's expected with all the big life changes she made. Grey was still true to character which was his. brooding, hunky self. I liked the twist with Mason and how it added the level of conflict it needed.
