Ruthless

Rate this book
Nathaniel Black is the definition of a morally grey man. Known by some as the ‘Ruthless Enforcer’ and known by others as a protector, he’s battling with his mind as to who he is under the surface. His strength of will is tested when he meets Ophelia; she’s everything he shouldn’t want, a kind-hearted angel wrapped up in a sweet package of innocence… or so he initially thought. She’s a woman who makes questionable decisions and who stands tall (and not just because of her ridiculously tall sparkly heels) despite all the struggles she faces. He should stay away, but the need to protect his ‘feral little gremlin’ might just be too strong.

Ophelia Bell has had enough. With her dreams seemingly hanging so far out of reach, she’s struggling to keep her head afloat and her controlling boss certainly isn’t helping. Add her stubbornness (or what she refers to as her ‘willpower’) and her ADHD into the mix, and all she’s got is a perfectly baked mess in her mind. When she meets Nathaniel, though, it's like all the noise just stops. He’s a dangerous man, and she knows that there’s no denying that. She also knows she definitely shouldn’t want to be around him, but the way his predatory gaze tracks her sends a thrill through her body that she can’t help but enjoy.

The attraction between them is undeniable, but can he risk putting her in danger? Can she learn to rely on someone else without feeling like a failure?

I love I love I love!

The girls have done it again, absolutely smashed it!! 100% worth the wait. I finished it in hours, I couldn’t put it down, read in one sitting.

I’m not an emotional person but oh my did I cry. This book has been beautifully written and the emotions displayed throughout is just incredibly powerful. Nathaniel and Ophelia have my heart!

ADHD is incredibly portrayed in how people with adhd may think and act in real life in this book.

Once again the girls have smashed it and I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and I cannot wait for future projects!

I’ll be waiting for more! Love your number 1 fan! 💚🩵🧡🩶

LOVED this book, as expected. The wait was absolutely worth it. The strawberry cheese cake scene gets me giggling every time I think about it.
This book had me laughing, crying and on the edge of my seat. You portray ADHD incredibly well, especially when she walked to Nathaniel’s shop without even knowing she was walking there.

When I got to the last chapter I said to my husband “I’m so sad this book is nearly over”😭

Can’t wait to read whatever you write in the future🤍

Nathaniel is your typical broody grump, Ophelia is sweet and soft.

Nathaniel is the most protective person on earth. Ophelia is the most ditsy person around.

The mix of these two is something I never knew I would love or that I needed but I NEEDED this book. Such wonderful writing and the best romance.

This is how I want my future partner to treat me by always looking out for me and being the grumpy protective man.
