Book 13 in the Easton Family Saga is a page turning who-dun-it mystery with a small town Lake Huron Michigan setting and relatable characters. Morgan’s loving grandmother Elizabeth Easton is getting married to Gerard Ainsworth. Eston Island is a magical place for a wedding. The story flows with drama at the Art Gallery and plot twist with the thorn in the side and city report Priscilla Finkpin. Foreshadowing at the end of the story has this reader wanting more, especially the relationships between Wyatt & Morgan and Brett and Quinn.
Hope Callaghan’s style includes a character list and tidbits from the previous stories to refresh the reader's memory of past events. With a limited attention span this reader enjoys Callaghan’s writing style: short paragraphs, limited description passages which are interspersed with dialog. Recipe for Guedille au poulet Recipe (Canadian Chicken Salad Sandwiches) is included.
Everyone loves a wedding but the stress in the weeks leading up to it is enough to test the nerves of even the most organized person. Things are moving along smoothly until a previous client of the art gallery returns claiming the painting he purchase was a fake and demanding his money be returned immediately. Neither Eliza r nor Quinn would tolerate a fake in the gallery and set about to prove the accusations false. Meanwhile, Morgan is aware that her former roommate is a bit lonely in her new home and comes up with a perfect fix. So many things occur in this page turner that you won't want to put it down till the end. Enemies become friends. Oil and water do mix and the wedding is not one to be missed.
I love this very clean cozy, all of it's characters and the location. This series transports you to places you want to visit with friends you'd love to know.
A consistently heartwarming series with very likable characters. Primary focus is obviously on Elizabeth and Gerard's wedding and prior planning. In addition, there are some art related issues that get solved pretty quickly, a few romantic ventures for both Quinn and Morgan, and general friends and family feel-good situations. One old family conflict reaches a nice resolution, and an old family "secret" is revealed for what might be a future conflict. A new "family member" joins the group too.
Morgan is helping her grandmother prepare for her wedding when a stranger shows up at the gallery with some strong accusations. The family investigates together and gets help from an unexpected source. Strong family values, good friends and romance. I received a free copy gratis, no strings attached and offer my personal opinion in the same.
Hope you truly know how to capture my attention. This book was so many emotions. I Laughed I cried and I was Very, Very Proud of how your Characters reacted to every situation. I was worried for a chapter or two but then I thought what would a story be without a Villain in it. Hopefully all will be ok now. I can’t wait for the next book. I totally recommend this book.
Delightful story about close family and new friends
I loved the story and the charactures. They draw you in and make you feel like you are there with them. A lot of interesting twists and turns. The joy of planning her Grandmothers wedding, Easing an old friend back into the family and resolving the past problems. Helping catch a painting forgerer. Helping her best friend move into her new home. As usual, hard to put the book down until finished. Great read.
I’ve read all of the books in this series and look forward to reading each new one. This one is really the crown of the series, I think! A fitting conclusion to the 13 book series! What a wedding, including a few surprises which I won’t reveal! Happy reading!
As with all Ms. Callaghan books, good, clean enjoyment. She never disappoints. Whatever the level of intensity, I'm always wanting the next book. Every book keeps my interest the whole way thru. This book was light, joyful yet with loose ends to tie up, I'm looking forward to the next in the series.
Just finished Book 13..I'm enjoying the Easton Island series , the author writes well & the story has kept my interest .... one fault I have is the main character's romance is rather boring - without depth, intrigue, too long standing = blaze' .... although still looking forward to Book 14.
This book was great to read with the man trying to get money out of Elizabeth with the fake picture. The people with their signs. Getting ready for the wedding. Quinn adopting Chester's puppy sister. All of everyone enjoying the wedding. I look forward to the next book.
Morgan’s romance with Wyatt is progressing and there’s even a d unexpected romance in the works. The Easton Island Series is a favorite of mine. Following Morgan finding a family she didn’t know existed till after her Mother’s death is a feel good, just enjoy the read series of books.
I can always count on a heart filled story from Hope Callaghan. Intriguing, lovely & fun, the story doesn't dissapoint. Thanks Hope Callaghan! Sincerely, Sharon
Best one yet! I almost hate to start these amazing books, because I know I read them to fast! I can't seem to slow down and before I know it, BAM! I'm finished! The wedding was AWESOME! I can hardly wait for the next one to be released! Hope, you've done it again!
I loved this story. It’s a great finale to this series, which would be sad if there weren’t a related series planned. This story has it all: great characters, interesting subplots and conflicts, and fascinating resolutions. Thanks, Hope Callaghan.
What a fun read! Some books are just sweet, some are filled with suspense and others are so funny! There’s definitely, something for everyone! I can’t wait for the next installment!
I enjoy reading Hope's book series so much...... Garden Girls, Millie and the Cruise Ship mysteries, but this series grabs my heart for some reason. I can't wait for the next book.
I love the characters in this series. For twenty plus years we had a home on Georgian Bay across the Peninsula from Lake Huron. Her descriptions remind me how idyllic it is. This is my fave series out of all Hope's books.
I absolutely love the entire Easton Island series! A "Wedding to Remember" was another sweet addition to the series. With romance, love and a little mystery, it was a delightful read.
Although I hope not! Hopefully Ms. Callaghan comes up with more to write about these dynamic people!
What a beautiful story it’s been. From no knowledge of family to a plethora of family and friends. Morgan has gone from shy to self assured! And wouldn’t every one love living on an island like that! Here’s to more Morgan !
Another fantastic book in the Easton Island series. The mystery surrounding the so called fake art gave a little twist to the wedding preparations. Can't wait for the next book. Will Jax & Ronnie finally admit their feelings?
I had to read the whole story once I started A Wedding To Remember! I have enjoyed all the books in the Easton Island series and hope to see some more couples tie the knot!
A bit of mystery, a bit of intrigue, and a newly found family. I am looking forward to book 14 anxious to see what lies in store for Morgan, her family and friends!
4 books of love and adventures in overcoming life challenges and becoming a family and community. Each book was so great on its own. Thank you for adding joy to my life.
The first wedding in the Easton Island Series! A little love, a little mystery, a happy ending... something for everyone! I'm looking forward to the next adventure!
I was really hoping this wasn't the last book. It's not!!! I love this series. Every book has been a quick read but with a lot happening! I love the characters and how each one has grown, more in depth. I hope book 14 comes out soon!
This is a beautiful addition to the Easton Island series. The big day will soon arrive when the Easton matriarch weds her beau. I love this series with its beautifully developed characters and their stories. Highly recommended! I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next in the series.
