too much smut for my liking

The Absolute Threshold was the perfect palate cleanser. It's a contemporary mafia romance set in Seoul. Joomi grew up with a mobster father, so her life has been far from normal. When her dad sets her up on a blind date with Yoongyo, the successor to Korea's biggest mob clan, Joomi has no choice but to accept.

I loved the set up. It created so much tension and anticipation. I don't usually like one night stand romances, especially the ones that lead to an unplanned pregnancy. But this one hooked me. Yoongyo said and did some of the most unhinged stuff, but what can I say? I loved it LOL. There was drama, steam, romance, banter, etc. It basically had everything I like in my romance novels and kdramas. It was definitely a lot kinkier than I was expecting NGL LOL. But I'm not complaining.

Definitely pick this up if you're looking for a super steamy and romantic mafia romance with a possessive ML.

P.S. Her skirt getting stuck under his thigh?! Hot.

Absolute Threshold was, quite literally, absolute TRASH. I still don't know what possessed me to finish this manhwa.

Jeong Yoongyu spoke in only two languages: degradation and sex. And honestly, if that were an Olympic Event, he'd have more gold medals than anyone in history.

And Joomi?? An absolute doormat. No backbone, no sense of self, and no independent thought that actually stuck. Her reasoning made me lose brain cells.
