Rate this book
A stolen nuke. A rogue AI. And one agent racing to stop the next world war. When an attack breaches a decommissioned Soviet nuclear facility, ICSS agent Robert Dart is sent to investigate. But what begins as a search for stolen uranium quickly spirals into a deadly game of deception, where nothing—and no one—can be trusted.

As Dart delves deeper, he uncovers a conspiracy that spans decades. Alliances blur, enemies become allies, and the line between reality and illusion fades. With time running out, Dart must confront the ghosts of his past and a future controlled by machines.

The Show Must Go On is a gripping techno-thriller that explores the lengths to which nations will go to maintain power and the human cost of secrets buried deep. Perfect for fans of espionage, artificial intelligence dilemmas, and high-stakes political intrigue.

Jonathon Kelley is a writer, educator, and media producer with a passion for stories that blend global intrigue, cutting-edge technology, and human complexity. He is the author of the Robert Dart thriller series, including the #1 Amazon espionage bestseller The Show Must Go On, praised by readers as “a fast-paced, suspenseful story” and “a symphony of suspense.”

Before turning to fiction, Kelley spent over 25 years working in film, television, and digital media—producing award-winning documentaries and public affairs programming that tackled real-world issues with clarity and depth. He now brings that same sharp eye and narrative instinct to the page, crafting thrillers that explore the dangerous overlap between surveillance, artificial intelligence, and global power.

Kelley also teaches college communication and media in Wisconsin, where he helps students develop the skills to tell stories that matter in a rapidly changing world. His background as both a creative professional and a teacher deeply informs his writing: grounded in reality, driven by character, and always asking big questions about the systems we live within.

He lives in the Midwest with his family and is currently at work on The Emerald Divide, the second book in the Robert Dart series. Fans of Jack Ryan, WarGames, and fast-paced political thrillers will feel right at home in Kelley’s world.

Ghosting-The Final End

This was a book I honestly thought was more for a male part reader then female. Wow! Was I wrong. I literally could not put this book down. From a process that could be forthcoming in the near future ; including possibility of a world War III to a surprising problem solving resolution. The connection of two unpredictable partners with circumstances beyond their control is unique in the correlation of insurmountable odds.Perhaps, by reading this book, we could all learn that oftentimes things are not what they seem to be.
