The third book in the trilogy and even though the second one wasn't my cup of tea I had to see how the story would end.
Pixie and Ulysses are in Cornwall to help a theater group to rid itself of a ghost. Pixie realises she'll be near to where Cavill lived. Her love for him has not abated but she needs to finally sort herself out where he is concerned.
This story was a very mixed bag for me. It took ages to get going. The first few chapters were all about Pixie and her torment. Once they moved to Cornwall and Pixie went back in time the story really picked up. I loved how she navigated her way in the 1920's. Also the ghost's story was interesting and I liked her so there was a certain amount of sadness to it. The description of the world of the 1920's was very well done.
The thing that spoiled it for me was the Pixie and Cavill part. It got very repetitive and boring. She went round and round in circles with her decision and I found myself saying 'enough, get on with it'!
I generally love this author's books and the first in this series is fantastic but they went downhill after that. If you've been reading the trilogy you'll definitely want to read this to see how things wrap up.

I loved this book and this story. ❤️ So so sorry to hear it is the last book of the timeslider Pixie. The paranormal is interesting. Very recognisable hihi. Pixie has again a task of accompanying a spirit to the light. Does she succeed? I don’t want to give any spoilers.

One of my favourite series that I have read! Third and final book in the series and it did not disappoint. Highly, highly recommend.

Loved it and feel like other readers, sad to see the end of Pixie’s adventures. Hers and Cavill’s love story is very compelling and emotional. Couldn’t pick a book for a couple of hours and been processing the book at the gym🤦🏾♀️
One thing that struck me was a certain degree of repetition, in the narrative, of what was going to happen or rather, her awareness of what was going to happen to the characters in the past. Unless it’s just me 🤔

Again a very good book. It was exciting and I was very curious how it would go and where it would end.
There were just some tiny details that didn’t make it five starts.
1. It can be very repetitive at times. Maybe because I read the three books in a row it felt even more repetitive. Even though I understand you have to remind people of some details, but also the thought process of Pixie. The amount of times she said “of course I shouldn’t change anything as a timeslider” and many varieties of this. And “I have to talk to Cavill” and many varieties of this. It got boring a bit. We get it, she is constantly torn between wanting to intervene and really she shouldn’t. I don’t need to be reminded every other page.
2. Why on earth did the author choose to use the English versions of foreign names? I first noticed this with the second book “William Aldershoff”. It is highly unlikely for a Dutch person with the version “William”. It would have been more likely to be “Willem”. But then I looked up Ulysses. And that is also the English version of the Brazilian mame Ulisses. And again, a German character somewhere at the beginning of this third book called Adelaide?! The German version would have more likeley have been Adalheidis. Why, why would you do that? It took me out of the flow of the book every time. It is so unlikely and just broke the spell for me. It reminded me every time that this was a book and not take me completely into the book world where a certain amount of logic should always be in place. Even if it’s fantasy, nay, especially when it’s fantasy. All details should always feel real and plausible in the made up world.
Having said all of this, I’m glad I read the trilogy. They were good books.

Was so excited to read the last book in this series! The concept of this series is wild—time travel, investigation, and romance all in one—but it comes together to create a really fun read.
Personally I preferred the previous two books. I am happy with how the series rounded out, but I wasn't as entranced with this one. I also wish the author had dealt with the ethical questions on a deeper level instead of merely having Pixie mention them. I was extremely uncomfortable with the extent of Pixie and Cavill's relationship while Pixie is timesliding and did not think the book did the discussion of consent justice.
Overall still a fun read and a fun trilogy. This is one I would love to see turned into a show!

The third and final instalment of the Timeslider trilogy, Pixie Tate has been called to the Aphrodite Theatre in Cornwall to solve a ghostly puzzle. She discovers it’s not far from the home of Cavil Pengower whom she met during a previous timeslide. She slips back in time to investigate the mystery of the restless spirit lingering in the theatre and also to sever ties with Cavil so they can both ‘move on’ with their lives. Will she succeed?
I’m quite sad to have reached the end of this trilogy. I’ve enjoyed joining Pixie on her time travelling adventures, they’re fun and engaging reads. This final book brings the Timeslider triptych to a satisfying but poignant conclusion. It has the usual twists and turns and gripping storyline. I’ve enjoyed every minute of the whole series. I wish there was another book!

I’ve loved this series, and am sad for it to come to an end. Timesliding characters, and the esoteric, is a really fascinating topic, and not something that is common is literature nowadays. Pixie is such a loveable yet bruised character, and Ulysses an equally loveable sidekick. Some great historical references too - the Gilded Age of America, Victorian England, 1920s small-town Britain, lots of discussion about fashion and etiquette - it’s a great series, and I would highly recommend, particularly for fans of Susanna Kearsley and Kate Morton.

I try to break out of my usual reading genre but it inevitably fails. I found this book repetitive and sluggish. I grew more despairing as I continued reading just how often could Cavil be mentioned as Pixies list love? It would seem too numerous to mention. I laughed out loud when he failed to recognise her because the whole premise of the book was that he would. Not only that but she had ruined a beautiful love that had already existed for him and left with a shrug of her shoulders and only a small amount of guilt.

Wonderful trilogy, so very sorry it's over
I have loved this series and am so sorry there won't be any more. I have enjoyed every one of Santa's books but this trilogy was special. I really liked the characters and the storyline, but the main attraction was the magical paranormal part of the story which was so up!lifting a d such a deli ever of hope and joy.
P!ease think about expanding this I to a longer series.

Well plotted story of jealousy amongst actors. The Aphrodite is a theatre near Penzance that Pixie, the time slider, has to investigate. The theatres ghost Nessa is making a performance of Macbeth extremely difficult indeed. The plot is also aimed at wrapping up Pixie's love affair which it manages to do neatly.

I absolutely loved reading this series, the love story that runs throughout is pure and strong. I love all the characters and how they interacted with one another and to see the relationships grow.
I highly recommend reading this series if you want to experience a love story that transcends time itself.

This seems to be the final book in the trilogy about timeslider Pixie, whose special skill is helping the dead spirits seek closure. This book reunites her with a love that she found in the first book and who returned in the second. The book is about closure and a new spirit haunting a theatre. While I liked the story, it didn’t feel as gripping as the previous ones.

I loved this book and am sorry to see that it is the last in the series.
The only reason I dropped a star is because it was kind of repetitive and I don't see why Ulysses is so gorgeous, it doesn't add anything to the story only the cliché that women can't help themselves around a good looking man

Fabulous l could not put this last book down. A perfect story with a perfect end. I don't know how Santa does it. But it's all worthwhile. Sorry it's the end of Pixie.

The final book in this series. Nice how all the bits were tied up but what I liked more was Santas thanks to her late sister for showing her there is life after death. Interesting!

I have really enjoyed reading this trilogy and this the final one wrapped it all up nicely but did leave you wanting more adventures with Pixie Tate. Shame it has to end as they are a nice easy read.

I am sad that this is the end of the trilogy. I have thoroughly enjoyed this series. I am going to miss Cavill and Pixie. But they are characters I will not forget.
