After resettling in New Liberty, the evolution of Colter dogs began to escalate. The Colter children, Shannon and Matthew have come of age, and their abilities to communicate with the dogs continue. Shannon’s new husband Dalton was raised by his mother’s people, the Crow. He and Shannon want to revisit the Yellowstone region of the Rocky Mountains. Once again the Colter family is on the move. The Colter Dogs join them, and continue to display the bravery and loyalty they have shown the Colter family, since Jesse and Sarah found them as they fled south at the time of the Go Back. The Colter dogs had escaped from the government labs where they were genetically engineered as weapons. But they evolved beyond the constraints of the science. They continue to evolve even today. The only difference is, no one knows where or how this transformation will end.
I would have given it 5 stars, but there was a lack of editing. However, I do plan on buying the next book. I'm assuming there will be one because of the unfinished thought at the end. I think many people would love to have a dog like these. Another great story.
I enjoyed this book very much. It is good installment in the series. I gave it a four star rating because up think it could have added more to the story than what it did. but I am waiting for the next installment with the way it ended. I guess you can't ask for.much more than that.
