One million dollars.
To have my boss's baby.
What would YOU do?

For two years, I've watched Oleg Pavlov from afar.
Dreamed about him in ways that would get me fired on the spot.

He's not just my boss—he's THE boss.
The mob-connected CEO who makes his fellow billionaires stammer and squirm.
Built like a Greek statue with tattoos that disappear beneath expensive suits and scars that whisper stories he’ll never tell aloud.

I fake like he doesn’t light me on fire with a single look.
I ignore how my skin hums when he walks past.
I pretend I don't notice his ice-blue eyes following me down endless hallways.

We had boundaries. Lines. Rules.
Until the day he called me into his office and changed everything.

"One million dollars," he said, sliding a contract across his desk. "To have my child."

I said no.
Walked out.
Some lines shouldn't be crossed, even for life-changing money.

Then some photos leaked.
Photos of ME.
Photos that were never meant to see the light of day.

And suddenly, Oleg is the only one who can save me.

So I go to him.
He’s waiting in his corner office, looking at me like he knew I'd come crawling back.
Like he's been WAITING.

"The offer has changed, Ms. Palmer," he says, voice rough and feral with something I've never heard before.
"Nine months isn't enough anymore.”

Then he slides the NEW contract across his desk…

DIRTY DAMAGE is Book 1 in the Pavlov Bratva duet. Oleg and Sutton’s story continues in Book 2, DIRTY GROVEL.

I couldn’t shake the feeling that I’d heard this story play out before, almost like I was watching a rerun. While this isn’t the book’s fault, the storyline carried a strong sense of déjà vu and I couldn’t stop thinking about Cruel Paradise by Nicole Fox. I do read a lot of accidental pregnancy stories, so maybe I’ve just come across too many for this one to really stand out..

If you’re looking for an easy, quick read. This book will fit the bill. But if you’re after something that gives a bit more, you might want to look elsewhere.

It tells the classic story…of a billionaire who needs an heir to secure his family empire. So who does he happen to find? The financially strapped heroine, burdened with family drama. She wants stability… but instead, she meets the most unstable man imaginable. He offers a marriage and baby contract with a hefty one-time payout. She hesitates. I respect that. Personally, I wouldn’t. Show me the money 💰

I initially liked the premise. Pregnancy romances are usually a win for me, and the boudoir photoshoot drama was a fun little plot twist. It added some extra dimension to the character.

However, the plot turned a bit stale, and the heroine’s personality didn’t stay consistent. He chose her because of her sass and outspokenness, yet once they were together, she became meek and a fumbling mess. There was chemistry, but not enough to keep me hooked. The hero’s shift from hot-and-cold to suddenly committed felt abrupt.

I also wasn’t a fan of the attempt to play on the whole Beauty and the Beast thing. The direct references felt awkward and a bit cringey. Below example.

"You think I'm the one obsessed with fairytales, but people call you the Beast."
"I'm aware," he drawls. "And Chloe told me whenever you play princesses, you're always Belle."
What a pair we make.
I lift my chin. "That was a game. I'm no Belle.
I'm certainly no princess."
"I believe you." He smiles. "That dress didn't quite fit."
"I'm no princess," I repeat, "but are you really a beast?"
His answering eyebrow raise is not a denial.
"Depends on who you ask."

Maybe I’m going insane, and this sounds like a perfectly normal conversation, but in my head, it sounds unnatural.

Overall, this book was not a bit of me. Maybe my disappointment stems from reading the Nicole Fox book first, but I’ve read so many carbon copies of this trope and they find a way to make it engaging…this one didn’t. I’m giving it 3 stars only because I’ve read over 50%.

There is a fine line between a great mafia romance and a terrible one. And don't worry, this book didn't come anywhere near the great side of the line. Was it completely terrible? No. But the characters sure were.

My god, both Oleg and Sutton were insufferable. Oleg was one of the most verbally abusive MMCs I've come across in a while. The way he would run hot and cold and would constantly snap at Sutton was just miserable. And Sutton would just spinelessly crawl to him every time. Grow a fucking backbone. She was so useless and 1-dimensional about everything, which I guess contrasted perfectly with Oleg's irritating flip side to the 1-dimensional worm that was Sutton.

Sutton literally had no real motivations or thoughts beyond wanting Oleg to love her back and getting pregnant. 450 pages of basically nothing, all to end on a cliffhanger forces anyone curious enough to potentially suffer through another 430 pages.

And here I am, the idiot curious enough to read the second book, and mad enough that I have to all to get an actual ending.

Glad I took a chance..

Let's face it there are a hundred or more Bratva romance books available at any given day. I have read quite a few. Some are so bad, and poorly written, and edited, that I couldn't even finish them. Then sometimes I come across one like this one. Oleg, is from a Russian family, but he's not always falling back on the language. Just the occasional cuss in Russian. Sutton has a terrible back story, and history, so I was really rooting for her. The story does have a familiar theme, of one corrupt family member trying to keep control and keep Oleg from taking his rightful place as Leader of this Bratva family business. I loved all the ups and downs of where they stood in their Business arrangement/marriage, and how far Sutton gets into Oleg's heart despite his resistance. I was so into their story, that I was floored, by the rapid turnaround with Sutton lost and alone, and running for safety, and winding up in a more dangerous place, and cliffhanger. I yelled at my Kindle. Luckily the second book was offered, and I grabbed that. Now that I am finished my review, I can find out what happens. Naomi West is a new Author to me, and now I can honestly recommend this series highly!😍 Trish.A.

Why does this model not have scarring when it is mentioned so much that Oleg is heavily scarred???

Review after reading book 2 in duet..

If I could go back in time and not read these books I would.

Here's why...

Mafia boss that is actually fucking useless and can't protect anyone from anything.

Obsessed ex (OM) that is also useless at being obssessed/threatening.

Fucking dumb ass sister who is the big protector but actually only made things worse.

Dead ex gf (ick can we stop with this? It added nothing to the plot but only undermined any feelings for fmc) and she was brought up all the fucking time.

He's a dick that doesn't actually care about her.

She's a standard damsel in distress. She has absolutely no consistency. She runs away as quickly as she forgives him and honestly, who the fuck goes to a funeral in a pink dress that in her own words looks like a stripper dress. Shut the fuck up. Stop at a bloody target and buy something black, you're late anyway. And then you're surprised people are side eyeing you at a funeral in a cathedral. Dumb as hell. Faye ain't your mate for letting you do that, honestly.

There was no need for this to be two books, infact if it was consolidated and written not to drag, it could it could have been way better but the drama just keep being done over and over again. Plots were introduced then dropped. Just pick a path and walk it 🫠.

I wanted mafia daddy, papa bear, my wife shit. It did not deliever.

Side characters - too many introduced then dropped.

Twenty-five year old Sutton Palmer works go Pavlov Industries Daycare Center. Sutton has had a rough upbringing going in-and-out of foster care she and her Sydney because their parents didn't want them. But when Sydney age out of the system she petition the court for custody of Sutton. She was playing princess dress up with Chloe one of the daycare children when they had an accident spilling apple juice and crackers all over themselves from head to toe. The two went to the executive wing to use the shower. After Sutton was finished with Chloe it was her time to take a shower but she was stuck in the princess dress and couldn't unzip it. Chloe went to get help but came back with Oleg the scarred mean CEO. The two was instantly attracted to each other. After unzipping the dress he told her to call his assistant in the morning and tell her 'Code Red priority', then he took Chloe back to the daycare so that she could take her shower. She was sitting there anxious and worried when her phone buzz with an email from Starlight Photography in Vegas of her boudoir photos telling her that her photos was ready for download. She had almost forgotten about the pictures until she got the email. She had went to Vegas to visit her sister Sydney after a bad break-up from her ex-boyfriend Drew Anton when Sydney talked her into the photo session with her after her abusive boyfriend Paul told her that she looked fat. Their relationship had been very toxic and abusive. She wasn't happy that he was calling after she had spent two years distancing herself and changing her numbers numerous times. To further compound the situation she woke up to a string of messages from her co-workers. It seems that she had forwarded the same pictures that she deleted to all eight hundred employees at Pavlov Industries which is embarrassing. Oleg was having a bad morning when is uncle email him about an employee who had violate company policy by posting explicit photos on the company wide website and needed to fire her immediately. “Dirty Damage” is the first book in the “Pavlov Bratva Duet” captivated me from the first chapter! The chemistry between Oleg and Sutton is off the page - it is passionate from the first chapter. Oleg Pavlov is the CEO of Pavlov Industries and the next in line to be Pakham of the Pavlov Bratva. He is the man that signs Sutton’s paychecks. Their accidental first meeting is electric….. “My hormones need to check themselves before they wreck themselves. Because the way Oleg Pavlov’s biceps flex as he crosses those massive arms over his chest? Pure sin. The kind of sin that got Eve kicked out of Eden.”

After their meeting in the gym shower area, in which Sutton is half wearing a Belle Princess dress covered in apple juice, resulting from an accident in the daycare center, with a zipper that will not budge. She is instructed by Oleg to ring his assistant and make a Code Red priority appointment, no princess dress required. “Heat surges through my body at the memory - the daycare teacher in the locker room yesterday. Feisty. Curves that didn’t quit.” Just when Sutton things cannot get worse, she accidentally posts to the company forum boudoir photos that her sister Sydney had done with them both whilst visiting her sister in Vegas. Photos she thought she had deleted. Now everyone, including Oleg, has seen them and defiantly captures his attention!
“they’re professional boudoir shots that capture every soft curve, every sultry glance. In one, she gazes over her shoulder, the arch of her spine begging to be touched.”

He offers her a new contract …. purely a business arrangement. A personal contract between them only - a prenuptial agreement and a Non Disclosure Agreement. “But it’s— Whoever signs this has to marry you,” I choke out, reading and rereading the next condition to make sure I haven’t lost my mind. “A-and… have your baby.”

“Maybe I do believe in fairytales after all”
With Sutton’s life being such a train wreck, she agrees to the arrangement. Maybe this will break the Sutton women’s curse, a chance to turn her life around. To have a future, to be happy, with or without Oleg. “Three excellent reasons to keep her distance - Rich. Powerful. Dangerous.” Instead she decides to sign the contract…..

The story is full of passion, intrigue, betrayal, vengeance, power, control, twists and turns around every corner. There is never a dull moment - you will be hooked! The book goes through moments of the thoughts or possibilities that it could happen to, to extreme violence to the most beautiful tender moments! I’m very happily hooked! I did not want it to end - cannot wait to read the second book in the duel. From page to page, chapter to chapter, I could not put it down - you will metaphorically be on the edge of your chair! Overall, I would highly recommend this book and you will not be disappointed 😊

This is NOT a mafia romance - it's a BDSM corporate office rom-com

1. CORPORATE SETTING This is an office, not a mafia dude. He literally works in a corporate building that has employee daycare for kids. And they have an HR manager. That is not the mafia if you need to clock 15 minute breaks and take OSHA training

2. ZERO CHEMISTRY For some reason she's stripping down naked next to a toddler which - isn't that sexual abuse of a child?! - and then they try to make it seem sexy b/c the toddler tells him that she needs help with her zipper and after he unzips it, she's naked and has to cover herself up with paper towels so she doesn't flash the toddler. Am I the only one who found that entire scene distrubing. OMG - REMOVE THE CHILD from the naked scene.

3. STUPID PREMISE Since when does your sister need you to take slutty boudoir photos with her? Are you going for a lesbian fantasy pic? This entire set up didn't make sense. and then on top of it, why would the photos get sent to her first if her sister footed the entire bill for the shoot. And there's no way you can accidentally FW the photos to your entire office unless you're a geriatric senior citizen who's never used a phone but since she's supposedly 25 yo, I'd think she would know how to use her god damn cell phone.

4. 50 Shades Knockoff - I'm guessing the author read 50 shades and was like - I think that's sexy and hot. So she gave this guy the EXACT SAME red room of stupid sex toys. And then a contract that needs to be signed for them to be together. He has a boring office job. Like - really, he watches her explore his stupid sex room, but he's like "I forced myself to keep answering emails + finish my workday." Umm, what?! What kind of a mafia boss is this? Can illegal drug sales not happen without a corporate wide memo from the boss? I can't even!

5. She's a BIG BDSM WHORE She literally has zero conversation with him and then is like tie me up and blindfold me right now! Ummm, what?!

6. NO GLAMOUR She's cooking dinner for him? Is this the stone ages? He's a billionaire and you're frying chicken on the stovetop.

7. SHE LOVES HIM B/C HE DOES DISHES First, we get a bait and switch on the whole mafia romance b/c this guy works in an office and answers to HR. Second, he does not wine and dine her, but instead eats her home cooked food and then we're all supposed to swoon b/c he washes dishes. This is the opposite of luxury. There is no personal chef, there are no fancy restauratns, instead she needs to fry up food for him

8. FLORIDA Could we have picked a more white trash run down place to set this story. It's sweaty and disgusting in FL.

Two broken souls and a contract that brings them together.

Oleg Pavlov needs a wife and heir and he needs them quick. So when his company’s childcare nanny Sutton Palmer has an HR incident, he takes the opportunity to loop her into a contract of a lifetime. Marry him, have his baby, and get paid while doing it. But he quickly learns that they both don’t want things to be just business only. Their undeniable attraction and softness towards each other has them inching closer and closer, toeing the line between contractual obligations and a connection that is much deeper and more profound. He doesn’t just want to be with her for power and heirs, he just wants to be with HER period.

“He’s just as much mine as I am his.”

The thing I loved most about Dirty Damage was how well paced it was. Naomi West really writes the perfect balance of plot based mafia romances but with romance being at the forefront so there’s never a dull moment and there are some super swoon worthy moments that had me screaming. I binged this within hours of starting and couldn’t stop till the very end.

Of course, Sutton was my absolute favourite in this. This girl has been through it all. She’s been hurt before, having been through a life of adversity and instability her whole life, so she struggles to accept when things do go right for her. When faced with Oleg’s coldness and cruelty, being pushed away so much, she’s quick to call him out on his BS and I really, really loved her for this. She was no pushover and her sass was exactly what Oleg needed because she balanced him and encouraged him to bring out his human side. She’s her own worst enemy and did let her insecurities get in the way but I don’t blame her, she’s been through a tough life and I just kept rooting for her the entire time. Team Sutton, all the way.

And if Sutton is a beauty, it’s only fair that her Beast, Oleg, gets a proper mention. Oh Oleg, he was all kinds of contradictions. A beastly and powerful man on the outside, soft and deeply emotional on the inside, his inner conflicts made him hot and cold constantly and while it certainly made things difficult in terms of their relationship, I did understand why he felt the need to have a facade up. He’s lived with guilt and pain for quite a long time and his inner true self, the caring, considerate, loving to kids man that he really is took time to come out but when it did, man I loved him. He loved Sutton, even if it was hard to acknowledge so his actions were louder than words.

“I would literally do anything to keep that smile on her face, all day, every day. For the rest of our lives.”

The spice in this, deep breath. It was hot, it was passionate, and it broke every boundary that Oleg and Sutton created for themselves. In the moments of heat, their true feelings for one another really came forward and honestly, it was really well written. I could feel the heat coming off my e-reader. And the soft moments just had me swooning even more. Big bad mafia man gives his princess a bath to comfort her? Check. Big bad mafia man bringing diamonds, flowers, kisses, and cars to the woman he loves? Check. Turns out the big bad mafia man isn’t bad at all. He’s just a hurt soul who’s trying to protect those he loves. They’re essentially two broken people but together they complete one another, something that had me really loving this couple so much.

Of course this is a duet so it ends on a tense note but the story continues in Dirty Grovel and after where things left off, I’m eager to get started on Sutton and Oleg’s much needed HEA.

I really liked how Ms. West wrote this book. She used a variety of writing styles that added to the characters as well as the plot. Oleg and Sutton's story is a common one in this genre but was unique in how each character's inner dialogue was much more entertaining at times that the actually story.

Sutton's character's is one that is obsessed with her older sister's life. Unfortunately Sydney is a train wreck that not only crashes once, but manages to continue to rain additional drama/danger on her younger sister's life, who in my opinion has a very unhealthy co-dependence with her screwed up sister. Sydney's life choices are dangerous and thoughtless and yet she has no problem implicating her sister in the drama and danger. Sutton's attempt at a regular job in Oleg's company employee day care comes to a screeching halt when Sutton posts the pictures her sister wanted her to take that get posted not only to her sister, but the entire company. Call me stupid but what person sends sensual boudoir pictures on their personal phone that has all of the company employees in a group email on it?

The story then escalates into an "arranged wife for hire and baby maker" so Oleg can quell the unrest among his crocked Uncle, mother and board of directors. Enter Sutton after getting caught in the executive shower room half nude while trying to clean up a kid and herself after a botched play time while Oleg is showering. Not a great meet cute, but the story that follows is interesting and has it's moments between Oleg and Sutton. Artem, Oleg's second is a major plus for this story (loved his character) in helping Oleg maneuver a very rocky first book of the series. Oleg's character is difficult to like in that he comes two steps forward in his relationship with Sutton only to take three steps back. The end of book one was very predictable with his crooked Uncle and bi.....ch of a mother. How he responds is why I didn't give this book a higher rating. He knew that his Uncle was corrupt and yet he believed him, never questioning him or believing Sutton until the end of book 2. Way too long and not enough time was given to Oleg's character so that he could properly grovel for such a lapse in trust.

Just finished Dirty Damage and I have to say—it was addictive in that gritty, emotional way I love from a good mafia romance. Naomi West doesn’t shy away from throwing her characters into the fire, and Oleg and Sutton? They burn.

Both of them are carrying serious emotional baggage—Sutton has this deep-rooted fear of abandonment, and Oleg is scared of failure and attachment. And the kicker? Neither of them knows how to talk about the things that actually matter. So of course, tension brews, communication crashes, and chaos follows. But somehow, that’s exactly what kept me flipping the pages.

Their chemistry is undeniable, the danger feels real, and the connection between them is layered and intense. That being said… I don’t quite understand why Naomi West insists on making two books out of each story. The plot drags in parts, and what could’ve been one tightly written, powerful novel ends up feeling a bit stretched and, at times, repetitive. I definitely found myself skimming some chapters, wishing we’d just get to the point.

Still, I really enjoyed the emotional rollercoaster and the sharp edges of both characters. I’m invested enough to continue the series, but I do wish the pacing were tighter because this could have been an amazing single-volume story.

If you love a slow burn with intensity, flawed characters with heavy hearts, and a lot of emotional and physical heat, this one’s for you.

Did Not Finish!!! 😦😑Okay thank you all for the feedbacks and all the excellent reviews…I think have basically they given me permission to stop at chapter 30 😁.. I came to the comments section to see if this was worth finishing and after reading the majority of the comments, the deal breaker to stop damaging my poor brain cells was made.. I will bow out gracefully… thirty chapters in and I’m still waiting for the story to start!!😔

First off, if you’re sending a message to someone, why would you be touching reply all? Why would her sister’s email be connected to her work group?// not logical 🙂‍↔️ Then, lets discuss the fact that the female lead kept saying she hated her but was still engaging in conversation and hoping for help from him drove me crazy.. 🤯😤

And with how long this book is, there is more to torture the reader of the sisters who are victims of their own actions? No thank you.. I cannot deal with another sixty chapters of angst .. I want me some hot daddy, cave man, gun toting mob boss, who is loving his on baby girl. A strong bravata boss who destroys the world for his woman, no matter what happens.. A strong female lead, fighting next to her man, who takes no bs from anyone.. a brave queen who never doubts her man who won’t depend on a weak little man child of an ex who is gaslighting her clear as day!! The start of this book offered potential, but I didn’t like how it’ dragged to its conclusion …. I will try this author again with a different book..

Sutton and Oleg

Ends in a cliffhanger so you need to read the 2nd book. Sutton is pretty damaged. She has abandonment issues and very low self esteem. She has a very unhealthy co-dependent relationship with her older sister who has her own issues with abandonment. Basically, these two sisters need therapy asap. It defined their personalities. That part of the plot is so heavy that it occasionally overshadowed Sutton’s and Oleg’s story.
Oleg has survivor’s guilt involving the death of his twin sister years ago. He has spent pretty much his life trying to make up for that. And suppressing his emotions about it.
There’s drama with Sutton’s ex and Oleg’s mother. There are side characters who are interesting and balance out the plot a little.
There’s plenty of steam, lots of angst and emotion. Dual POV, an unnecessary 3rd act breakup (because we all know there’s a 2nd book and the two MCs will definitely get back together so why spend time writing about a breakup?).
I debated skipping the 2nd book but needed to see if Sutton’s and her sister’s co-dependency is ever addressed or resolved.
Again, ends in a cliffhanger so no HEA in this one.

There were soooo many plot holes or was so frustrating. I liked the romance, it was cute in a sucker for possessive MMCs and less confident MMCs but these plot holes and random scenes are driving me CRAZY. Like how the FMC was going to tell the MMC something but she came home to a note that said he was not home when they were meeting up in 10 minutes BUT the next chapter is literally him days later in a meeting in a completely different scene no mention of any of that. Where he went what she needed to tell him. It’s pissing me off so much

Oh also the summary isn’t accurate. There was never 2 contracts, the summary makes it seem so much better and more interesting than it was 😭

There’s also just stuff that doesn’t add up. For example when the friend comes to visit the he says something with “me” referring that he’s alone, the FMC was like “wait he said us?” When I read back and he didn’t. Turns out he brought his family but UGH. Another one was “She falls silent, letting me undress her completely. When she’s naked, I guide her to the floating tub and start the water. While it fills, I undress efficiently, never taking my eyes off her.” Like how can you undress twice????

3.5!

Definitely enjoyed.

There were parts that seemed to slow down that I didn’t appreciate, and it was certainly a “wham bam, thank you ma’am” type of book,

However, I thoroughly enjoyed ALL of the characters! Even the side characters, especially Mara and Artem. Each had their own unique personality that I felt some kind of connection with. Not one of them was too whiny or too annoying or too frustrating.

Sutton, the FMC and Oleg, the MMC are both enough that they pulled at me to want to keep reading. They both have dark secrets which adds to the plot. Will they or won’t they connect? It adds to the tension.

The one MAJOR issue I had is the constant missing words, grammatical errors, and formatting of the book. It pulled me out of the story SO many times, I have to comment on it. It was littered with mistakes — and it does affect my rating.

But, I did like this enough and that cliffhanger is brutal, I am moving straight to the next book!

Because this is the first book in a duet, it ends in a cliffy. But never fear, the second book is right behind this one! Sutton is awesome. She is a great FMC. She is warm, genuine, and has grit. And Oleg has a softer side, when he’s not being overly suspicious and guarded. I liked them together, even though his suspicious side breaks them apart. I have faith that the second book will be HEA.

“I would literally do anything to keep that smile on her face, all day, every day. For the rest of our lives.”

I really enjoyed reading the 1st part of this duet. Sutton is a wonderful character and it’s so clear that she’s worried about her sister and for want of a better word, the douche bag she’s with. Oleg is the CEO of the company she works for and needs a wife pdq! Things happen and Sutton finds herself in the spotlight of not only social media but Oleg! The story quickly develops and before too long Sutton and Oleg find themselves falling for each other, however, just as things seem to be settling everything changes and not for the better. There are some great characters in this story, l just hope some of the slimier ones get their comeuppance in thr 2nd part of this duet, which ends on a bit of a cliff hanger.

I don't know why I do this about once a year. so this author is known for doing Duets and occasionally the blurbs will pique my interest and I'll decide to read them and then I read them and I remember why I don't read this author. the biggest issue is these books are long and they're duets. for instance this series is over 900 pages. there is always too much. there's too many pages. there's too many repetitions of the same thing. if the same thing happens more than twice in the book then that's too much.

the story isn't really that engaging. it's interesting but then you just kind of lose focus because again there's just too much and it's boring. which is odd because there's a lot going on but again it's boring.

Decent story. Interesting premise and plot but it did get a bit contrived and silly as things went on but I'm still hooked and want to see where things go. Thought it would be spicier but still a good angsty romance. There's some depth and dimension to the main characters. Wanted to shake some sense into both of them so many times cause they be acting stupid. Handful of spelling errors but nothing too grating.

Also are we just gonna skim over the scene where the FMC was getting wasted despite her actively trying to get pregnant?

Would not read again, however I am kinda invested in the story now and would probably read the next book to see how things end after that cliffhanger. I expect some god tier grovelling.

Overall rating: 2/5

The book started of ok, not strong, but not bad. Sutton is not the sharpest tool in the shed - neither is her sister. They're both trying to "take care" of the other and failing miserably all while failing themselves as well. Story progresses as you expect with Oleg essentially blackmailing Sutton to become his baby mama. Which was also a first - he wanted her pregnant before he married her. In most stories, they get married and then pregnant when it's a situation related to producing an "heir". Sutton has a fire in her I can appreciate, especially when she stands up to Oleg. I was not surprised at how the book ended, because of course it had to be a misunderstanding/miscommunication trope.

Oleg and Sutton. Shes a daycare teacher at Pavlov Industries. A little precousious child lends a helping hand. Getting Mr. Beast to help Belle. She makes a horrible unreversable mistake.
There is banter. Humor. But its still the Bratva with all the chaos. A dark brooding alpha billionaire "Mr. Beast" who's a player with commitment issues. Loved the way they met. Very entertaining and amusing, just love Chloe. Ex's that dont take no for an answer. Family drama. Business drama. Betrayal. Its an adrenaline fueled ride. Couldnt put it down. Cant wait for the next book.

Pavlov Bratva book 1 is Dirty Damage and is Sutton and Oleg's journey. It's a fantastic Beauty and the Beast-esque story. (Read it, you'll understand) Oleg Pavlov is the CEO of Pavlov Industries.

"A player with a wandering eye and commitment issues."

He's also Suttons boss. Disaster is a mild word for Sutton. She's inadvertently made a huge mistake that could either cost her everything or gain her everything. Oleg and Suttons story is intense and dramatic, chaotic and consuming with danger and surprises at every turn. An ex making things even more difficult and dangerous definitely doesn't help matters. Dirty Damage ends on a dreaded cliffhanger. Dirty Grovel can't come soon enough!

~ low smut
~ inconsistent
~ second book is a downer

This first book was ok, typical plot line with contract marriage. The blurbs for the duet are completely incorrect. The main characters barely know each other. The H swore off love after accidentally killing his sister and gf when he was 18. This would have been an ok duet except the second book ruined it with so many inconsistencies, stupid characters, no smut and it was boring with no grovel because the heroine just rolls over and decides to have an amicable relationship for her child, which is fine but it’s not at all what the book description advertised.

The beginning was solid and I could definitely feel some chemistry between Sutton & Oleg. But Oleg's behaviour was very hot and cold and while I could see that Sutton could hold her ground, sometimes she made stupid choices and her character could've been written a lot more better. She had good potential and was strong and resilient but her decisions were questionable at its best. The book also felt very long and the last half was stretched so much. I also did not like how Oleg behaved with Sutton towards the end and I hope he grovels a lot in the next book. Otherwise, all the time that I spent on this book will just feel like a total waste.

This was book 1 in the "Pavlov Bratva" duet. This was a pretty good read it pulled me in right away. Sutton works at the daycare center at Pavlov Industries. Oleg Pavlov is a hot sexy Russian mobster who offers her an offer that she refuses at first until something happens and she needs his help so she signs a contract. Sutton is struggling with her past while trying to navigate in a world she doesn’t understand. Oleg also has his demons he was torn between two worlds. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. This book did end on a cliffhanger and I am looking forward to reading the next book.

Sutton is in a funk after getting her heartbroken. Sutton works at a daycare owned by Pavlov Industries. Sutton works at a daycare owned by Pavlov Industries. Her friend convinced her to have a boudoir shoot. She accidentally sends the pictures to her boss Oleg Pavlov and he loved them. Oleg comes up with a contract for Sutton to have his baby. The steam builds. Will Sutton go for it or will it backfire? Can’t wait for Dirty Grovel.
Another great dark romance from Naomi West.

Very torn on this one

The story is decent. The dialogue is actually tolerable, which is shocking for this genre and this author. However, the MFC is seriously TSTL. Like more than any other character I’ve come across. The last 30% of the book I have spent saying how not smart she is to myself after just about every paragraph. For real. Can anyone be THAT unintelligent?
SO. MANY. REASONS. For why she is so.
And the fact that she’s actually shocked with his response is truly laughable.

They really don’t come much dumber than this MFC.

Sutton works for a large corporation's childcare system and Oleg is one of the corporation's chief executives. Oleg is being pressured by his mother to find a wife, marry, and produce an heir so that he can have the leverage to be top man on the job. His eyes are on Sutton to fulfill this spot. He proposes they sign a contract to make the deal happen. Sutton needs money to rescue her sister from an abusive relationship with a Las Vegas mob guy. This book is like "a modern romance meets The Sopranos."
