The Dangers of Sex

Sarah Brown sets out on a journey to sexual self-discovery and falls face first into danger. In Barcelona, Anthony de Luca, an author and photographer unleashes the full force of his charm that threatens to steal her heart, a prize he openly admits he doesn’t want. Still, she can’t resist him, and finds herself experiencing the heights of ecstasy and the lows of heartbreak as her lover leaves without a word. In Berlin, Paul Christiansen, a handsome Dutch lothario with a sordid past works his wiles to seduce her body; while in the shadows, a predator stalks a young boy close to Sarah determined to get what he wants or kill anyone who gets in his way. One of her two lovers has led a dangerous criminal straight to her door, but which one? And who can she trust? Will Sarah survive or will she lose both her heart and her life to desire?

Michele E. Gwynn is a former online content writer and journalist. Having written for magazines and newspapers, she finally decided to go for her dream and wrote her first fiction novel Harvest in 2011. Since then, she has published in a variety of genres from science fiction to crime thrillers to paranormal and contemporary romance, even three children's books. She has won a variety of awards and achieved bestseller listings including Amazon UK and Amazon US (for Darkest Communion and Sophie's Wish). Michele’s series include the Harvest Trilogy, Angelic Hosts (now exclusive to Gwynn's Substack), the Checkpoint, Berlin Detective Series, Green Beret series, and the Soldiers of PATCH-COM. She has also penned several standalone novels such as Darkest Communion, Queen’s Island (now available as a FREE bonus book on her website), Waiting a Lifetime, and Hiring John.

Michele has always been a very creative person with an appreciation of twisty plots, one heck of an imagination, and a desire to talk about important social issues such as the recurrent theme in her award-winning “Checkpoint, Berlin” detective series which focuses on human trafficking. Given her passion for social issues and justice, she strives to create good but flawed characters that often fall short of their own ideals. Her wish is to engage, inspire, and entertain her readers with intelligent plots sprinkled with humor, real-world facts, a hint of steam, and a touch of romance.

This was recommended by an author whose blog I enjoy. However, at chapter 16, 54% into the book, nothing has happened except character introductions and erotica/light porn. Haven't even met the police investigators yet. A nasty, sadistic paedophile who will very likely be the villain of the piece has been introduced.

This is a story of a young woman named Sarah Brown, who is taking care of her sick mother. She is a young, shy, and secretly, sexy librarian, who lives out her fantasies in the erotic section of the closed library. Sarah Brown loves her mother, but she is ready to live her life and fulfill her fantasies, as well as explore her sexuality; and with a trip to Europe, she’s able to do all that and more!

This is the first book in a series and I want to start out by saying that I can’t wait for the second book! This book was HOT! Michele Gwynn’s writing grabs you at the beginning of the book and just keeps pulling you in with Sarah’s enticing sexual encounters. You have to wonder how a girl like Sarah Brown got so lucky!

The Education of Sarah Brown has a wide range of characters; ranging from sinister, to sweet, to romantic, to erotic, and even a little crazy. With so many exciting characters the book keeps you on your curled toes! If you were to take out the erotic parts of the book it still has a great story line showing Sarah’s amazing demeanor and personality! I really enjoyed the twists and turns in this tale of adventure! The Education of Sarah Brown was a hard book to put down. I rate this book a 4.5!

'Exposed: The Education of Sarah Brown' by Michele Gwynn is a great read! This book has some characters you will love reading about and a few you will despise. This is a great story & had me on the edge of my seat until the very end! This was the first time I've read any work by Michele and I definitely will read more in the future! Highly recommend to all fans of erotica and suspense.

An innocent librarian goes to Europe and lets herself be instantly seduced by a photographer. Then she gets caught up in a child slavery ring and things go downhill fast.
While for the most part I enjoyed the story, especially the descriptions and dialogue, it’s written too matter of fact, with little style. Choppy, without flow, making good things feel almost boring.
On to better stuff. I like how complex Sarah is, even in her abandonment issues, but I really love Elsa. The difference in her personality when she’s not being a Domme is wonderful to see. I like when the author repeats one of my fave lines: “free food always tastes better.” The police scenes were also well done.
What I didn’t like story-wise was all the coincidences. Of all the people in Berlin and Amsterdam—and even between the two cities—the same half dozen people keep running into each other. Add Barcelona and things become another level of ridiculous. Strains credulity far too much.
I knew what would happen when Tony joined in, but it was still a good way to lead to the inevitable conclusion.

After the death of her very straight-laced mother, a virginal Texas librarian takes a trip to Europe to discover the world and her sexuality.
This book is not for everyone. There are graphic sex scenes, including bondage and mild S& M, but the book is well written with some great character development and a plot that goes far beyond Sarah’s next sexual adventure. If you enjoy a little spice with your crime stories, Michele Gwynn’s Exposed will rock your socks.

I tried, hard, but could not get into this story. I guess I just didn't understand what was really going on. I found it unsexy and boring. I tried over and over to get into this. It's about someone named Sarah, a pedophile, and crime suspense? I understand it's supposed to be an erotic thriller, but I could not stay interested in this story at all.

For the most part, this book is a five star, but the ground work in the middle took a little too long to unfold. Once the excitement of the chilling turn of events takes place, the action cannot be compared. It was fast paced and had my heart pounding. I have never hated a villain so much! I loved everything else about the book and would definitely recommend it!

Hot and steamy erotic story with a real plot. This is a real book with a real story, not just an excuse to get down and dirty.
