We got introduced to Lisa and Tank in the Annihilate Me series, so I was looking forward to this book. I really enjoyed it but I also think it lacked couple time. This was definitely more about Lisa and her sudden fame and the complications that involved. Tank actually felt like a secondary character when he should have been a main character. Now saying that, I still very much enjoyed this book. It had a lot going on so I was pretty swept up in the storyline. When we did get Tank, he was pretty fabulous. For a big tough security guy, he was a total teddy bear with Lisa. I liked that which is why I wanted more of him. On to the next book....

Just like the first part of the series, it was just ok. I liked the characters, especially Tank, but I had big issues with a lot of the dialogue. Just like in the first books situations were over-explained and just got very wordy. Then you get into the repetitiveness. The first book had repetitive themes but this book flat out copied and pasted sections from the first set. I actually had to double check what book I was reading because of this. The story line itself started out ok but then it just got crazy and unbelievable. I know it's fiction, but I don't read paranormal for a reason, I like to believe my stories. I know we don't know how we'll react when we are put in a life threatening situation but it was just completely unbelievable. Once again there was sooooo much internal dialogue going on, it didn't make me feel for her, it made me want to skip ahead and see what she was finally going to do. I know there are more books in the series, but I don't think I can go on. I still have sooooo many questions about the characters, things that happened, their lives but I don't think they are ever coming.

Needs some research

While I love this style of books with alpha males and alpha females I feel that there was a definite lack of research involved. There is no such thing as a Navy SEAL in the Marine Corps. There are no ex Marines, just Marines. A SEAL is in the Navy. The Marines have FORECON and MARSOC for their special operations. The Navy has SEALS just as the Army has Green Berets and Rangers and the Air Force has PJs. While there are a few others these are some of the most widely known. Reading about an “ ex Marine who was a SEAL” was laughable. With a little research this story would have been awesome.

So this book series ranked a little higher than the first book series, but not by much.

I really loved these characters, Lisa and Tank. They were so different, but they seemed to work well together. I enjoyed the story and I felt it was a lot more intense than the first series, which I appreciated.

However, there were a few things I didn’t like. For one, for the author to have 2 main people we thought were the reason for the attacks; they weren’t. But come to find out, it’s this random cult that literally showed up out of no where. It honestly was a little confusing because it didn’t really seem to fit into the book at all. I don’t remember reading anything about them in any chapters, it was just like they appeared out of no where.

Also, the ending was very anti-climatic. Even though I enjoyed hearing about the house they got and how Tank surprised her (super sweet), it really wasn’t a good full filling ending to me (but that’s just my preference for books. Don’t leave an open ending).

I have to admit though, it was an alright series. I enjoyed it. However, I don’t think I enjoyed it enough to read it again.

She did it again

Christina Ross is a whizz when it comes to writing captivating romance. It is not dripping with love scenes but instead has a great story line. The action and fast moving parts have you on the edge of your seat where you don't want to put down your book. And then there are some slower parts following to get your heartbeat back under control so you can think about what just happened and see how it defines the characters. Her sense for fashion and research that most have gone into this book are amazing. I can't wait to read annihilate him which I am assuming is the next one in line. The fact that her series overlaps and brings back all of my favorite characters from annihilate her was a plus.
You have an amazing talent Christina keep writing I will read them all.

This box set is a great one.

This is the story of Tank (Mitch) & Lisa. Tank works security for Wenn. Lisa is a writer of zombie books. The two of them face many challenges together and alone. It is nail biting at one point. Alex, Jennifer and Blackwell are also in this story. I love that the characters are intertwined from the Annihilate box sets. The characters of Tank and Lisa are fabulous. I love them both. Tank’s soft and witty side comes out in this box set, but only most to Lisa. They have a great relationship, to say the least. There is mystery and suspense, anticipation and love that grows more and more with each passing day. Christina Ross is such a good writer. I have read three box sets of hers so far, and each one I can’t put down once I start reading it. I can’t wait to read about Tank and Lisa’s wedding.

Great read

This is a really good book, but I struggle with giving it an excellent rating. This book is a take off of two of the characters from the book Annihilate me. I feel that this story is basically a repeat of Annihilate Me. I was disappointed when many times throughout the book, love scenes and short one-liners were word for word from Christina Ross's previous book. I would think a published author could do better than that. I was pleasantly surprised mid to 3/4 of the way through the book it took a turn for the better when the storyline started to differ a bit from the storyline of Jennifer and Alex in Annihilate Me. From that point on, I really had a hard time putting the book down. So I give it four stars, but I feel that the author could have done much more with this story to make it more original to these characters.

Awesome Series

This series was amaze balls (Amazing) This is the first books I've read by this author and let me just say that she has me Hooked, Line and Sinker. I couldn't put it down, I laughed cried and felt the hope, love and despair of all the many characters. This author is beyond talented. A great novel is one that can make you feel every emotion on the pages and the details can make you imagine yourself there. I can't wait for annihilate him series to see what happens to all my favorite characters and I am beyond giddy to see where Tank and Lisa's story goes in Unleash Me Wedding First. .

Tank (Mitch) & Lisa

Definitely a different read for me. I love a good meet cute and this book starting up when they’re already together was so different for me. Definitely need to read Alex and Jennifer’s book to know how Lisa and Tank started. This was highly anticipated for me since I felt their chemistry in first box set. Tank, hot head of security, and Lisa, zombie book writer. They had the flirtation, the fun sexy times and the drama! It seemed that Lisa just couldn’t catch a break! I cried for her, laughed with her and loved her and Tank both! Blackwell obviously being a star in the books had me laughing every time she came on to page!

Love this.

What a great follow up to Annihilate Him. This story follows Lisa and Tank who were mentioned in the first set of books. I loved how the timelines seemingly joined together. I fell in love with Tank character and even more so now. I love how genuine he feels and so protective. Lisa is kick ass. She is honest and doesn't take any c#*p. She is a strong lead female just as Jennifer is but in a different way. I will be following and reading more of this author. Highly recommend.

I enjoyed this short series immensely. Two complaints, which resulted in 4 instead of 5 stars, would be the following: the ending of books 1 & 2 & forgotten characters. While I understand the need to hook people into the next book, it seemed as though the author was pausing in the middle of a thought at the end of books 1 & 2. Also, two key characters were completely dropped in the last book. Their roles were pivotal to the series & should have been brought to a conclusion. Overall, very enjoyable!

Zombies, a Navy Seal, drama and love

Such a fun read. There was humor, romance, intrigue and more. The story flowed nicely and I loved seeing how this couple worked out after being teased about them in the original series. Blackwell is probably one of my favorite characters and the group of friends is fantastic. I though the intrigue and who was the villain was an interesting path. Good read!

Don't waste your time

The dumbest book I've ever read. So much repetitive bullshit. If she said how in love with tank she was one more time I was going to scream. I was seriously thinking about setting my house on fire and going up in flames with it. i honestly couldn't even finish the book. Do some research before your next book because this was so difficult to even fathom the bullshit written.

Not impressed

This book just didn’t do it for me, Lisa just got on my nerves and seemed so ungrateful for her luck with the book. I can’t put my finger in it, but it just was not a good read, I found myself skipping over pages to just get it done. And without spoilers, the people after her came completely out of left field. Then she didn’t have to go to the hospital? Omg it was so ridiculous.

Lisa Ward one great writer and a true friend to Jennifer!

Lisa gets what she has always wanted a great boyfriend, her books are doing well, finally being recognized for work making money and still being friends with Jennifer! The bad things she never expected was to threaten by an old boyfriend, being attack by a boss as of all things kidnapped! Great story lots of twist and turns , sexy, steamy romance 5 Stars rating and a big Recommendation for this series!!

Loved this book! I just finished the Annihilate Me series and jumped right into this book. The characters seem like old friends at this point. I was excited to read from Lisa’s point of view and to get to know Tank better. The reveal of the villain is great. The book will grab you and keep your attention all the way through

Another winning series

Christina writes another winning series. This series was dramatic fun and suspenseful. It keep me on the edge of my seat waiting for what was next the entire time. I love Lisa and Tank. They are the perfect mix of a tiny ball of blonde fun and giant brooding bada- -. What they go through makes them even better together. This is a great series.

The Perfect Sequel Series

I was wowed by the Annihilate Me series and so excited to read more about my five favorite romance characters in Unleash Me. Now for one of the exciting weddings that I've been waiting for! If you haven't yet read any books by Christina Ross, what the neck are you waiting for?!

I enjoyed this series. But I found several repeated dialogs, but from the different characters, that were in the Annihilated series. It was like the author was in a rush to finish the book so she used the same dialog that she used in the other series. But over all, the characters & plots were good and I enjoyed both series. Personally, I like a more steamy read than just luke warm.

Loved all the characters!

I simply fell in love with this gang of characters. They were each divoon in their own special ways. The one thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars, was the way the sub story was finished. I felt like something was missing in the plot to kill off Lisa. Otherwise, LOVED it!

I found the book was more about Lisa and there wasn’t much time with Tank he sort of was forgotten in the book. Also who recovers from being shot in the chest after two weeks. I also found there were a few sections that repeated themselves from the first series with Jennifer and Alex. I did love the suspense added to the book and the twist it had but for me only 3 stars

Just ok

This book was just ok for me. There’s a lot of repetition in this series. A lot of fashion talk over and over again. I found myself skipping by skimming through parts that I found to be annoying. This series could’ve been cut in half without the fashion talk. Don’t think I will continue reading any other books related to the series.

Really? The same descriptions in the sex scenes from the other book you couldn't have altered It some

The first chapter all the sex scenes were the same as the first book annihilate me which was stupid to repeat exactly word for word what was used in one book to the other one

Too wordy

I like the love story, one of the reviewers said it about being too wordy, explaining too much and repetitive declarations of love. I felt the same on the annihilate me and him series

Took me a bit to get into the book but about quarter the way through it picked up pace. The end had some twists I didn't see coming and I couldn't put it down. Loved getting a better glimpse into Lisa and Tanks lives. I look forward to more stories surrounding this group.
