Nadia Marks (née Kitromilides,) was born in Cyprus, but grew up in London. An ex creative director and associate editor on a number of leading British women's magazines, she is now a novelist and works as a freelance writer for several national and international publications.

I enjoyed the book especially as I was in Crete while reading most of it, but it was a little slow in places and a bit predictable. For a holiday read that’s fine but I was expecting there to be a bigger reveal as there was so much build up and turned out to be what I guessed!

Spoiler- I know she had been badly hurt and was on. Huge growth journey but didn’t like the way she used Paolo. If roles had been reversed we would have said the bloke was a player!
