This was a Swan retelling and I loved it so much. I 10/10 recommend this book.

Enter the mystical, magical world of elven kind and familiars, and magic. You meet Odette, who is stuck between two princes, Odin and Siegfried, friends with both and not wanting to make a choice because either choice will hurt the other. This book has it all, a funny animal sidekick, two dashing and handsome princes, secrets that are going to be unraveled, and a strong maiden who is going to change everyone's fate.
This book will make you laugh, it will make you want to scream, and it will feel like a hug. You have to go into this story knowing that Odette is very young, learning every day about life and facing the consequences of her actions. You may not always agree with her actions, but she is just living life. She is going to make mistakes, and it is a happy ending in the end.
I was lucky enough to receive an arc of this amazing novel and am leaving a review of my own thoughts and feelings.

This was a nice and quick read. It's definitely got the cozy vibes with the bit of drama. I definitely enjoyed reading it, and the pacing was good. Unfortunately, it wasn't entirely for me. I didn't enjoy how much the FMC Odette kept going back and forth on WHO she wanted out of the twin brothers. She was so decisive one moment and then suddenly she just wasn't anymore. I didn't find a lot of strength behind her feelings due to this. I do think that plenty of people will find that it's a book they love just unfortunately it didn't resonate with me.
We follow Odette and twin brothers Sigfried and Odin when they are teens to start and then we jump forward 2 years to when they are 18. She's with Sig and they have a moment where they declare their love together and then he goes to college for 4 years where she isn't able to follow. 4 years of letters, of longing. Then they are finally back. Which prince will have the crown? What are Sig and Odette to each other still? What happens when the Queen announces that there will be a ball and the trials for who will be king in a few months time.
If you're a fan of retellings (especially ones I haven't come across before or often like Swan Lake), cozy reads, and a touch of drama I would recommend this one.
